00:00want to refute it or are disgusted by it or just have a hard time with it that this will
00:05be the
00:05single most significant professional sports celebration in the history of of sports here
00:12right um you know united states i don't think that's too outlandish of a thing to say
00:17you know new york city police are already pushed to the brink right tonight um they were very happy
00:24to cancel that watch party because they just feel like they cannot get control there's not enough
00:29cops to get a control of what's happening in the city and now with trump going to the game the
00:34first sitting american president to ever go to an nba finals game is that right i would have to think
00:40so obama never went to one he's a huge fan but chicago was never good when he was in office
00:46i
00:46don't believe um so that's going to make security a friggin nightmare i mean an absolute night i've
00:54been to two sporting events in which donald trump was in attendance one here in atlanta national
01:00championship game which was an abject disaster because of the weather there was a definition
01:05of the perfect storm correct the storm in the sky and what it created it was a freezing cold day
01:13in
01:13january it was pouring rain trump announced last minute he was coming so now you had to double and
01:21triple security efforts we were just i believe pivoting to no ticket right this is six years ago
01:28right longer than that 2017 and you're trying to be able to do they shut down half the gates it
01:34was a
01:34mess but then i was at two years ago bryant denny stadium georgia alabama trump comes with his whole
01:40contingent and it actually went pretty well it felt like you were going through tsa at the airport
01:44hey everybody get in the stadium three plus hours early that went pretty well yeah so but tonight in
01:51a more controlled atmosphere with obviously much more access to a person like president trump he is
01:58a new yorker this is going to be significant they they didn't want five ten twenty thousand right
02:03outside the stadium even think about security typically too you'll see this a world cup you don't
02:08enter mercedes-benz stadium at the traditional spots this is super bowl as well you're entering like
02:14almost by state farm arena right there's a whole it's like two or three checkpoints correct and i
02:20imagine one of them would have been where the uh nick's party usually goes on and when on the road
02:25they have this area outside madison square i mean have you seen the videos of the fans in the streets
02:30they're losing their minds losing their minds going crazy during before and after these basketball games
02:38yeah and it's such an interesting thing because basketball is a new york city thing for a lot of
02:43reasons you know if you grow up in the northeast like i did i mean you know um you're playing
02:50hoops is just you know because of the weather basketball takes on a bigger significance right
02:55just like college football here in the southeast it's like how many d1 football players are really
03:01coming out of new jersey new york new england it's just you know few and far between at the elite
03:08levels yes but when you think about new york city basketball you think of kenny anderson it's
03:11fawn marbury and you think about oak hill academy and all the big big prep schools that just pump
03:17out nba talent you think about uh you know danny hurley's dad although that was philly where is that
03:24high school where he won all those state titles but uh do we know that osco what what that's jersey
03:31yeah jersey yeah yeah jersey so so they've already claimed the basketball mecca right now listen i grew
03:37up in boston where they go like you're you're adorable you're the mecca we have 17 titles you've
03:42won one in 60 years right um but they want to call it that the famous most famous arena in
03:48the world
03:48everything else but now it's all coming together of like the epic run in nba history in a city that
03:56just was falling in love with this basketball team and then this whole celeb factor which is just
04:02next level stuff of like all the folks that have like lee ben stiller chalamet what's the actor that
04:09we love um was in uh miller's crossing and he's been in oh tutoro he was in big lebowski you
04:16see him
04:17was yeah also in rounders yeah what's his name john tutoro yeah yeah unbelievable john tutoro and
04:23rounders thank you i mean rounders also obviously as well so like they're all there they're all in
04:28their nick jerseys i don't think you really you ever believe that could happen and then and i was in
04:34a
04:34couple of places i was in new orleans the night the saints won the super bowl and i thought to
04:40myself
04:40when i was at school there these people wouldn't know how to handle the saints have been so bad for
04:44so long and it's the only game they have no other professional teams they didn't have the pelicans i was
04:50like if they ever won they're going to burn new orleans down but there's not enough people there
04:52it's like a 700 000 you know people live there and it was a big night now in boston they
04:58waited 86
04:58years to win a world series and chicago 100 years um but it was more emotional than it was like
05:06take
05:06up in the streets and again those cities certainly boston's not big enough um i mean it was a huge
05:12moment and the parade was legendary but i don't think they're waiting for the parade like i think if
05:18they win it's going down right the parade is that night correct it's going down right um and you saw
05:26that paris just won um so they what's the cup that jays won last weekend when they like paris saint
05:33germain yeah uh psg like burn down paris they're worried now that if france has a great world cup run
05:39they have incredible security issues that's a different level but if it's ever going to get
05:44close to being out of control yeah they call them hooligans for a reason no it could be a looting
05:49situation because of all where all the cops are going to be stationed i mean absolutely if you don't
05:54think that they are planning um which is why they were thrilled to cancel that viewing party but would
06:00it be the biggest championship for a city again you're talking about one of the most famous cities
06:05in the world and they don't care about like when super bowl was in new york they don't care i'm
06:11going there because i have some uh business for a world cup they don't really care it's at met life
06:17it is outside the city of course there's a ton of international immigrants and everything else
06:22but nothing resonates in new york because it's so big it's like when super bowl was there not only
06:28are they playing outside in the cold which was ridiculous but like if you were in midtown in
06:32rockefeller center or you're down in uh you know downtown in queens yeah there's not a super bowl
06:38buzz there's just not no too much going on you don't even know that it's spread out you go to
06:43houston or atlanta or or dallas or phoenix super bowl is every permeates the whole thing correct
06:49knicks are different every borough it's new york corner every corner so um we should talk about
06:57are you insane to think of uh the spurs are going to get one tonight because what do we always
07:04talk
07:04about what do we always talk about is when everybody the entire public is on a game go the other
07:12way
07:12do you think anybody has the balls to bet on san antonio tonight that's some sharp people out in the
07:20desert what do you know that number is so tiny think about a team that's on the greatest what are
07:25we on
07:2513 now it's 3-4-4-2 so it's uh yeah 13 straight games and they're only favored by two
07:33and a half on
07:34their home court two and a half they can win by 40 in their sleep and by the way if
07:39wemby doesn't have
07:4035 and uh fox and castle don't put up 2020 they're gonna get blown out of 62 percent of the
07:46money on the
07:46spread or on the knicks that's not outrageous though i mean 69 percent of the money line handle is on
07:53the
07:53spurs on the money line yeah 61 of bets are on the spurs on the money line that's not a
07:59half kings yes
08:00i think you look at oklahoma city you go they just beat an absolutely loaded oklahoma city team
08:06four times are they really not going to get one in the finals but you know what
08:12how can you bet against the knicks i'll feel so dirty tomorrow if i take san antonio and the knicks
08:18win by 17 which is what what do you think the coverage on television is going to be of trump
08:23in
08:23the building uh from a political standpoint no i'm just saying how many times they're going to show
08:29oh i think where's he going to be sitting he's in a suite not much if he's a court side
08:33how many
08:33times will mike breen say the words donald trump one and a half over under is that on one of
08:39those
08:39i don't know i'm sure i could find it president trump one and a half is that the number to
08:45set
08:45donald trump uh yeah no i'd say two and a half what about the if he says the president does
08:52that
08:52count i would think so if he says the president does that count against the number not that you're
08:58not listening to degenerates here i'm gonna i'm gonna set the number at two and a half it's any
09:03reference to him donald trump uh the president president trump the number's two and a half he's
09:09not going to stay the whole game right that just doesn't happen usually he's out of there at some
09:13he left the georgia bama game after halftime yeah exactly
