Sheriff Larry Stelma Lies To Entire Community.

Lawrence A. Stelma, sheriff of Kent County, Michigan lies to community in regards to shutting down the Reserve Unit. He said that he shut them down because of financial reasons, yet the Reserve Unit was not even paid by the county, they were paid by community event managers who put on events. The sheriff also lied by saying that the Reserve Unit did not buy their own equipment or pay for their own training. The Reserve Unit did pay for all of their own equipment and they did pay for all of their training.

The sheriff is a liar and we want him to resign his position as sheriff immediately. Contact the sheriff and let him know you want him to leave and let someone else in who won't lie to the public.
