Plans have been submitted to make Liverpool’s rough sleeping assessment hub a permanent twenty four hour service. The proposal aims to help people sleeping rough access support and move into accommodation more quickly.

00:20The hub has been running since January 2024 and provides assessments, advice and access to support.
00:27Documents say the focus is helping more people move into suitable accommodation as soon as possible.
00:33If approved, the expanded service could begin on 1 July, with access restricted to people assessed as sleeping rough by
00:41outreach teams following initial checks.
