00:34instructions following the magnitude 7.9 earthquake that struck near Mindanao at 7.37 a.m.
00:43In a statement, he said the disaster management committees in the affected districts had been activated to handle the situation
00:51and the state government was closely monitoring the matter.
00:54Meanwhile, in a separate statement, Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister, Arthur Joseph Kurok, said tsunami warning sirens had been
01:06activated in the four areas as a precaution.
