CTP (S3EMaySpecial8) The DOGE Cuts Reality Check
Exploring more of the fascinating intersection of Activism, Community Engagement, Faith / Religion, Human Nature, Politics, Social Issues, and beyond - all in Biblical perspective
I push back on the “DOGE cuts” panic by putting the numbers in context and asking why a few billion in trims gets sold like a catastrophe inside a multi-trillion-dollar federal budget. I also argue that public broadcasting and many political spending narratives survive on emotion and headlines rather than clear math, clear accountability, and honest tradeoffs.
• questioning claims that DOGE cuts are widespread and severe
• explaining why Congress must codify cuts for permanence
• comparing a few billion in cuts to a roughly $7T budget
• arguing growth alone cannot erase a structural deficit
• making the case for voluntary funding of NPR and PBS
• clarifying what cutting CPB funding does and does not do
• critiquing baseline budgeting and calling for real cuts
• challenging “balanced budget” claims from past eras
• calling for facts, context, and measurable outcomes over spin

00:00Hello, welcome to another episode of Perstitutionalist Podcast.
00:05I am your host, Joseph M. Leonard.
00:09That's L-E-N-A-R-D.
00:12It looks French.
00:13It's not.
00:14It's Leonard without an O.
00:17Thank you for tuning in, as Graham Norton used to say, on his show.
00:24Let's get on with the show!
00:27Hello, everyone!
00:30Welcome to Perstitutionalist Podcast's first-ever video exclusives week.
00:40What do I mean by that?
00:42Well, these that are airing, and I'm looking down at my calendar,
00:50Monday, May the 18th through Friday, May the 22nd,
00:56and probably another one as a Saturday monologue show previously run video exclusive on May the 23rd,
01:07will be just that.
01:09Previously run strictly to my video channels, felt that you all across the 40-ish audio platforms,
01:20and potentially reading via transcript, need to hear these.
01:25So, when a date pops up, they don't pay a whole lot of attention to it,
01:32because, you know, it could have been a week ago, could have been a quarter, three months ago,
01:42even two quarters, six months ago,
01:45that it originally aired as a video exclusive.
01:48At any rate, follow-up to Books Slash Authors Week, May 2026, the third time I ran a Books Slash...
02:02Well, second time I did a Books Slash Authors Week, second time already this year, back in October 2025.
02:10I ran three weeks in a row of that.
02:13So, if you haven't checked that out yet, on Monday, there was Chris Chote.
02:21On Tuesday, what day was that?
02:23Tuesday, that would have been the 12th.
02:26We had Michael Clawson talking about hybrid publishing.
02:33Again, you record in the doggone mouth and brain, don't want to cooperate.
02:38Wednesday, I had on Angel Giacomo, if I'm saying that right, I always get it wrong,
02:46the Jackson Mackenzie Chronicles series discussion.
02:50Thursday, we had Grace After Relapse.
02:57And on Friday, what day was that?
03:00I'm actually recording this brief intro on Thursday, May the 14th.
03:07So, tomorrow, this will have passed, of course, by the time you hear it, May the 15th.
03:15Friday, we'll be north of Broken and Forever Home with Holly B. Gutwlinger.
03:25Story about a dog.
03:27Great story.
03:28Great talk.
03:29This week, video exclusives.
03:31I don't have handy the various topics.
03:36So, without further ado, let's just get one on, shall we?
03:42Okay, I was supposed to be heading out the door to go get something to eat, but I need to
03:50sit down and talk about this while it's fresh.
03:54Left doge lies.
03:57I just saw Richard Fowler, the most foul one, ultimate leftist.
04:07Doge lies.
04:09The doge panic.
04:11Doge, doge, doge, doge.
04:13Cuts.
04:13All kinds of cuts.
04:15He was on the show talking about potential nominee for the Democrat Party in 2028, and they showed, like, eight
04:26Democrat mayors, and speculating maybe it'll come from the mayors.
04:32It's because they could create a mayoral coalition to give them a little more gravitas, or I don't know what
04:42word I'm looking for here, but back each other up and stick with the foul one's complaint.
04:52Oh, they've had such a tough time because of those cuts.
04:57Oh, reality check.
05:02Facts don't care about your feelings.
05:07There hasn't been...
05:11I'm not going to talk about what there hasn't been.
05:14The left delusion lies.
05:17What there has been.
05:19Doge has cut a few billion here and there out of actual spending this budget year only.
05:32To continue them as permanent cuts, the Congress must codify them in spending bills.
05:42And the rhinos in Congress have not done that.
05:49So those, the few they have codified, and I'll get to those, the one especially, billions of dollars out of
06:02a $7 trillion budget.
06:07What, like 0.001% maybe?
06:13Oh my God, it's a panic.
06:16They're slashing everything.
06:17Oh my God, all these cuts.
06:20Everybody's suffering.
06:22It's next to nothing.
06:24And the primary thing that we've been talking about since Reagan years, since the 80s, and the FCC has been
06:35issuing radio and TV licenses,
06:40like you could get them out of the Cracker Jack box to everything.
06:44Today, even there is satellite radio.
06:48You could get talk or music radio anywhere on the planet by satellite.
06:56The Congress did finally cut NPR and PBS.
07:04Taxpayers stolen dollars redistributed to them.
07:08Now, long ago before I was born in 62, there was reasonable sense for PBS and NPR agencies for rural
07:29areas that weren't getting competitive market television or radio.
07:35That's not the case today.
07:38Their need to be publicly funded ended in the 80s, long ago.
07:46It is now time for you on the left, if you want to keep NPR, give your own money to
07:58NPR.
07:58But that's always the rub.
08:02The left doesn't want to fund anything out of their own money.
08:07They want to steal tax dollars from everybody else to give to national loftiest propaganda radio stations to keep them
08:19afloat.
08:20Heaven forbid NPR, PBS too, and more about them in a minute, have to act like actual competing stations and
08:32get commercial ad revenue to keep the station afloat.
08:38Or, again, ask your left guards to donate to them.
08:44But you won't do that.
08:47You don't give your money.
08:50You want to steal everyone else's money.
08:53PBS, full disclosure.
08:56I, in the past, have donated to my PBS channel 56 here in the Detroit, Michigan area.
09:07I have donated in the past.
09:10Won't ever do it again.
09:11And don't do it now because I'm on disability budget, can't afford to.
09:16But even if I were still working and had my six-figure salary, I would not be donating to PBS.
09:25Compete like everybody else.
09:28Sesame Street, worth trillions of dollars.
09:32Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, worth trillions of dollars.
09:36Let them help prop up PBS if that's the stations they're going to stay on.
09:43PBS can compete.
09:45Ask for more money from those who want the channel and or run ads and compete.
09:54Like every other TV station on the planet does.
09:59Enough!
10:01Enough!
10:01Congress did eliminate CPB, right?
10:06The Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
10:09Permanent cut for now.
10:12If the left gets control of Congress again, of course, they'll immediately put those monies back in the budget.
10:20So, a billion dollars out of a $7 trillion budget.
10:28But Richard Fowler is screaming, oh, it might be a mayor because mayors are burdened and tough and dealing with
10:37the issue of all the doge cuts.
10:40Liar.
10:42Liar.
10:43Absolute liar.
10:46Democrat lies matter.
10:49Clickbait garbage.
10:51And I'll pack on my Suno song, Clickbait Everywhere.
10:57And the end of this.
10:59Let me write that down.
11:03Clickbait so I don't forget.
11:06Circle that.
11:09So, a few billion dollars out of $7 trillion budget.
11:14You know, Democrat mayors are suffering and dealing with all these cuts that aren't real, that aren't there, aren't really
11:25affecting them.
11:27The doge lies.
11:28The doge boogeyman.
11:30The left doge lies is what this is about.
11:33We do need more cuts.
11:38Growth alone, and I've written on this at the Forbes News and on Substack, growth alone will not solve our
11:49problems.
11:50You cannot grow enough to then create enough extra tax revenue coming in to eliminate the $2 trillion deficit.
12:03Yes, even during Trump's second term, even with tariff money, even with the few piddly doge cuts there's been, there
12:15is still almost a $2 trillion deficit.
12:21Because the rhinos in Congress won't cut anything, and Trump refuses to veto the spending bills.
12:30He's a pragmatist.
12:31He's a populist.
12:33He's not a conservative.
12:35He will not veto the spending bills with all the continued spending.
12:41He signed both continuing resolutions this year that had tons of Biden spending extended out several more years in it.
12:55He's not cutting either.
12:59Doge was for show.
13:01Doge was a dog and pony show.
13:04Doge cuts are next to nothing.
13:07It's like you having a bowl of rice and taking out three grains of rice.
13:15Oh, my God, you're going to starve.
13:18You're missing three grains of rice in that bowl of rice.
13:24Ridiculous analogy.
13:26Ridiculous metaphor.
13:28But it works.
13:30That's the reality here.
13:32No one is, no one except leftist money laundering operations like under the USAID situation, money laundering to leftist non
13:47-governmental organizations.
13:49And as I dropped earlier today, the discussion with the weird Canadian, they're not non-profits.
13:56They're leftist Democrat Party front groups.
14:00You give them a billion, a million dollars may go for the cause of condoms in the Congo.
14:10So, how about you leftist, if you're concerned about condoms for the Congo or whatever, start a non-profit, a
14:22real non-profit, a 501c3 here in the States.
14:26And you give your money.
14:30You collect donations for Gay Sesame Street back to PBS.
14:38Gay Sesame Street in Iraq.
14:41Yes.
14:42An NGO was helping fund that with money stolen from you through the USAID program.
14:49No.
14:50You want to do that?
14:52Use your own money.
14:55You don't get to steal it from the rest of us to do that and line your pockets, which is
15:02mainly what was going on.
15:04You get a billion, you spend a billion, but you pocket the 999 other million from that program to distribute
15:16amongst yourselves.
15:17That's the game that Doge brought to an end, and it's a few billion here and there.
15:26And that's it.
15:27All things you could be doing as a non-profit on your own rather than stealing from the taxpayers.
15:36So, at any rate, I could give a myriad of examples, but I don't want to drag this out.
15:44You either get it or you don't.
15:46And the left doesn't know.
15:48They don't want to know.
15:49They want to live in a delusion.
15:52And that's why they're talking about the mayors who will be able to talk about how hard things are since
15:58the Doge Cuts as a potential nominee to peddle more BS.
16:05Because the Anna Media covers for them like Richard Fowler was doing today.
16:12The Doge Cuts.
16:13The Doge Cuts.
16:14It's pennies on the dollar.
16:16Not even pennies.
16:17Fractions of a penny on the dollar.
16:21A few billion out of a $7 trillion budget.
16:25Still a true $2 trillion deficit.
16:29And debt growing exponentially out of control.
16:34And our nation, I hate to break it to you, even though the dollar still currently is the reserve currency
16:41of the world.
16:41We can go belly up and bankrupt like the Soviet Union did.
16:46It can happen.
16:48And that's what the left want.
16:50Cloward and Piven.
16:51Look it up.
16:53If you don't know, you leftists, you advocate Cloward and Piven, even though you are too foolish to know who
17:00they were and what the strategy is that you're ultimately advocating for.
17:07At any rate.
17:08All right.
17:08Let me wrap this up.
17:09Let me play Clickbait Everywhere, because that's what it is.
17:16Facts matter.
17:17Details matter.
17:18History matters.
17:20Contexts matter.
17:22The left can't deal in any of that.
17:25Just emotional hysterics.
17:27Thank you all.
17:28Take care.
17:28God bless.
17:30Apologies before I get to my Clickbait Everywhere song music video for those looking behind the scenes on video.
17:41Well, this is a video exclusive, but eventually it may port over to the audio platforms.
17:47And anyway, just got back, pulled up my Olga's Kitchen cup, my orange, oh, excuse me, my orange cream cooler.
17:57I'm still finishing.
17:59And shout out to Desiree and Savannah and Tulip.
18:04I jokingly call her Tulip.
18:07Yes.
18:07I've forgotten her real name.
18:10That is a flower.
18:11I don't think it's Lily.
18:13That's another restaurant.
18:15I don't think it's Rose.
18:16That's another person at another, but anyway, shout out to my friends at Olga's Kitchen in Taylor, Michigan.
18:27I made some notes.
18:28I was over there for Linner or Lunner, as I originally coined in Terror Strikes Coming Soon to a City
18:36Near You back in 2006 version.
18:39And the 2022 version of the book is still available, tinyurl.com slash JLD on Amazon, tinyurl.com slash JLD
18:53on Amazon.
18:55Addie, Linner, Lunner, like brunch, right, between breakfast and lunch, Lunner, between lunch and dinner.
19:03At any rate, I seem to be one of the few real conservatives, actual values and principled conservatives.
19:19It doesn't flip-flop.
19:21It doesn't waffle.
19:22It doesn't go silent during a Republican presidency.
19:27I have been consistent in talking about deficits and debt since Ronald Reagan years.
19:39Yes, Reagan ran deficits.
19:42Yes, he had a Democrat-controlled Congress, so he had to keep making deals in order to get his spending
19:52priorities through running deficits.
19:56Every single president, every single president, I've talked about it.
20:02And you can also go, baseline budgeting is an issue.
20:06I've been talking about that forever.
20:09The article I wrote 15 or 20 years ago still is valid today at theforgenews.com.
20:17Baseline budgeting for dummies.
20:20Now, I didn't title that to call everybody stupid.
20:23You know, the economics for dummies, billiards for dummies, tiddlywinks for dummies, series of books, the for dummies series of
20:33books were popular at the time.
20:36Hence, baseline budgeting for dummies was the title to, you know, be in vogue with that trend, the for dummies
20:46series at the time.
20:48So, tinyurl.com slash jldonb4in, the number four in there, or j slash jldarticles, if you prefer.
21:04During Reagan, we weren't talking trillions in deficit.
21:09We weren't even talking hundreds of billions.
21:12We were still talking in terms of millions of budget deficit.
21:17And I was talking about it.
21:19I've been consistent.
21:21This is not sustainable.
21:24We weren't even talking the percentage of GDP we're talking about today.
21:30Then, the budget itself, the deficit, and the debt as a percentage of GDP were still at least within reason.
21:43But because we didn't do anything about it then, these decades later, it has gotten exponentially worse.
21:54So, I need this second segment to drone on more about growth.
22:01Growth alone will not solve the problems.
22:06Period.
22:07Real math.
22:12Real economics.
22:14Not communomics.
22:16Not unicorn fart fantasy math.
22:21Real math.
22:24If we were to freeze the budget at current spending levels, not spend one penny more, throw away baseline budgeting,
22:35go back to zero-based budgeting, and not increase one penny more of the $7 trillion we're spending a year
22:46for anything more.
22:49Each department, A through Z, you all get the exact same money you're getting now for the next 10 years.
23:01The budget still would not be balanced.
23:08We would still be running deficits 10 years from now.
23:14This is the reality.
23:17This is real math.
23:19This isn't communomics.
23:21No matter how much the left tries telling you their unicorn fart fantasy math will work.
23:30It doesn't.
23:31It won't.
23:32Growth alone, growing the economy, and increasing the revenues will not cover that $2 trillion in 10 years.
23:46And by then, 10 years from now, the debt, likely $50 trillion.
23:56Percentage of our GDP, not sustainable.
24:01It's far exceeded out of times of the two world wars, even, that we were fighting.
24:11I deal in reality here, and it's time others deal in it, too.
24:18It doesn't change when there's a Republican president.
24:21I don't change.
24:23I stay consistent.
24:26I'm a real conservative.
24:28I'm a real Republican.
24:30I'm a real constitutionalist.
24:32These things matter, and they don't waffle.
24:35They don't change based on what letter the president has beside their name.
24:41All right.
24:43So, growth, budget freeze 10 years from now, baseline budgeting, deficits, debt.
24:51Yes.
24:51What is that?
24:53Oh, real math.
24:54Yes.
24:55$50 trillion.
24:56Yes.
24:57All right.
24:58Communomics.
24:59Yes.
25:00Blah, blah, blah.
25:02I have to clear up something else, too.
25:07Gingrich and Clinton never balanced the budget.
25:12Period.
25:14Sorry.
25:15Not sorry, Newt.
25:17Love ya.
25:18And you deserve credit for at least baseline budgeting.
25:24Again, they did not cut the spending.
25:28They slowed the rate of growth in spending so that growth in the economy would raise more
25:38in taxes and shrink the deficit.
25:42Lower that gap.
25:44But they never balanced the budget.
25:48Period.
25:49No matter what Newt Gingrich says on TV, he's lying.
25:56Sorry, Newt.
25:57Sorry, Newt.
25:58Stop lying.
25:59You and Clinton deserve credit for what you did.
26:03But you did not balance the budget.
26:08You both moved a lot of things off budget to hide it from the budget.
26:13But every year of eight years of Bill Clinton, the deficit remained and the debt kept, the
26:23deficits came down.
26:25Yes.
26:25Again, thank you.
26:26You deserve credit for that.
26:29But you didn't balance the budget.
26:31You tried the growth thing like we tried during Reagan.
26:37And Trump talks about now.
26:39It failed then under Reagan.
26:42It failed under Clinton.
26:43It's going to fail now.
26:46Growth alone won't solve the problem.
26:48You've got to cut spending in real dollars.
26:53You can't just slow the rate of growth or, as I said, freeze the budget.
26:58We will still have a deficit in 10 years and $50 trillion in debt.
27:03It's not sustainable.
27:06That's if you freeze the budget.
27:08There must be real cuts to the budget.
27:13There must be.
27:15That's the math.
27:18Real math.
27:19A real economist will tell you that.
27:23The commie core, commie-nomics, unicorn fart fantasy crowd keep trying to tell you otherwise.
27:32They lie.
27:34Lie.
27:37Enough lying.
27:40Enough.
27:43You can look it up.
27:45Reagan, trust but verify.
27:48Don't trust me.
27:49Look it up.
27:50At a valid source.
27:53Not Mother Jones opinion garbage.
27:55Huffington poo-poo post garbage.
27:58Real.
27:59Go to treasury.gov.
28:02Go to whitehouse.gov.
28:05Go look at the real numbers.
28:07The actual numbers.
28:09From the Clinton years.
28:12So the budget wasn't balanced.
28:14If we paid the interest on the debt alone, it would have froze.
28:19If we were just paying less than the interest on the deficit, the interest on the debt.
28:27I'm sorry.
28:28That's what I meant.
28:29Right?
28:30Pay just the interest.
28:31First, if you get a HELOC, an interest only HELOC, you know, a home equity line, interest only.
28:42You pay the interest every month.
28:46The principal of the loan remains the same.
28:50You must pay on the principal to bring the principal down.
28:56But if the debt you were paying, the interest, like during Clinton years, the deficit, not the debt, I keep
29:06saying that.
29:08The debt.
29:09The debt would have remained at X trillion.
29:13But it didn't.
29:14It kept going up because we were adding to the debt via deficits, budget deficits.
29:23So thank you, New, for trying.
29:26Thank you, New, for doing what you did.
29:28And even Bill Clinton.
29:29I'll give you some credit for signing those bills and signing those spending bills.
29:38You helped.
29:39You did something.
29:41It wasn't enough.
29:42And 9-11 happened and everything went out the window again.
29:48So, all right.
29:49I'm going to end it there.
29:51Lead into the clickbait everywhere video.
29:56And a media all over online.
29:59The left constantly.
30:01Constantly fighting spin and comminomics, unicorn fart fantasy, delusional BS.
30:10We deal in reality here.
30:15Facts matter.
30:17Details matter.
30:18Contexts matter.
30:20History matters.
30:21All these things matter.
30:23Truth that you get here matters.
30:27Thank you all.
30:29Take care.
30:29God bless.
30:30Love you all.
30:31I don't know.
30:33You're listening now.
30:33I just don't know.
30:33I don't know.
30:34I don't know.
30:35I don't know.
30:36I don't know.

30:46Yeah, yeah, yeah
30:51Flash on the screen
30:53Red phone, big screen
30:57Another cheap trail for an empty feed
31:02A quote in a box
31:05Clip from a stream
31:07Cut out the doubts
31:11Sell them a dream
31:14I want more than a headline
31:16Give me names, give me dates, give me time
31:18Tell me who, tell me how, tell me why
31:21Facts matter, details matter
31:23Draw the line between reality and the lie
31:26Clickbait everywhere, headlines off deceiving
31:30Text matters
31:32Details matter, context matters
31:35Reality and truth matters
31:38History matters
31:39There's more to real journalism than just transcribing what someone claims
31:45Need get beyond today's Twitter attention spans
31:49Crowd in a frame
31:51Look, they all agree
31:54But you trimmed every word that didn't fit the name
32:01History's a map, not a mood today
32:06You can't bend every road
32:08You can't bend every road
32:09Just to win the page
32:11I want more than a headline
32:14Give me names, give me dates, give me time
32:16Tell me who, tell me how, tell me why
32:18Facts matter, details matter
32:20Draw the line between reality and the lie
32:24Stop just typing what they claim
32:27Hey!
32:28Ask the question, name the game
32:30Context cuts through the confusion
32:33Collide through the delusion
32:40Clickbait everywhere, headlines off deceiving
32:44Text matters
32:46Details matter, context matters
32:49Reality versus delusion
32:52History matters
32:54More to real journalism
32:55Than just transcribing someone's claim
33:07I want more than a headline
33:10Give me names, give me dates, give me time
33:12Tell me who, tell me how, tell me why
33:14Facts matter, details matter
33:17Write it clear, make the story match the sky
33:24That's not a lie
33:28Teach out the real who, what, where, when, and why
33:38Yeah, yeah
33:45Okay, very important thing for me to verbalize
33:51Vocalize
33:51It was a running scrawl on the screen
33:55During the behind-the-scenes video
33:58Therefore, you can't hear
34:01What is shown on the screen
34:03If I don't vocalize it
34:05Back to PBS
34:06And
34:11CBR
34:12Corporation for Public
34:13Oh, CPB
34:16Corporation for Public Broadcasting
34:19Not CBB
34:21Customs and Border Patrol
34:23The Congress
34:25Did not
34:28Mandate them out of business
34:31They just eliminated
34:34The taxpayer extorted funds
34:38Be given to them
34:41NPR
34:42PBS stations everywhere
34:45Do not have to shut down
34:48They just have to either
34:50Start putting on more commercials
34:53To cover their costs
34:55To stay on the air
34:56Or demand more of you
34:59Leftards
35:00Who want to steal money
35:03From others
35:04For your propaganda stations
35:07To actually step up
35:09And fund them
35:11Yourself
35:13Step the bleep up
35:16You want NPR
35:18Pay for it
35:19Donate to it
35:21You want PBS
35:23Pay for it
35:25Donate to it
35:27Sesame Street
35:28I think I covered this alone
35:31Mr. Rogers Neighborhood
35:32Blah blah blah
35:33Several shows
35:35On those platforms
35:37Our multi-billion dollar entities
35:41Can pay to keep those things
35:43On the air themselves
35:45Can keep them afloat themselves
35:48They don't need taxpayer dollars
35:51Bottom line
35:58If my people
36:01Which are called by my name
36:03Shall humble themselves
36:04And pray
36:07And seek my face
36:10And turn from their wicked ways
36:16Then will I hear from heaven
36:19And will forgive their sin
36:25And will heal their land
36:51If we are called by your name
36:55If we are called by your name
37:00We throw our heads to the floor
37:05Dust on our hands
37:08Hearts open
37:13We come and ask for more
37:20We turn from the broken road
37:27We lift our eyes to your face
37:32We lift our eyes to your face
37:32Hear us now
37:36Hear us now
37:38Hear us now
37:39We are kneeling
37:42We are turning back
37:47Heal our lands
37:49Heal our lands
37:53Heal our land
37:54Heal our land
37:55Forgive us Lord
37:56Yeah
37:57Heal our land
38:00We see your face
38:03Hey, we seek your face
38:08Come and wash us clean
38:11Heal our land
38:16If pride has been in our bones
38:23If mercy has grown cold
38:31Teach us to walk in kindness
38:38Teach us to lay you whole
38:44Every wolf and every fear
38:47Every dark and hidden place
38:51But know this shall be known by fruit
38:55Like spelled out in evil prevail
38:58Your actions tell the tale
39:01We ought to pray
39:03But we ought to act
39:07We are called to turn
39:11Blessings to be earned
39:16Hear us now
39:19Hear us now
39:22We are kneeling
39:25We are turning back
39:30Heal our land
39:32Heal our land
39:34Heal our land
39:36Forgive us, Lord
39:39Forgive us, Lord
39:41Heal our land
39:43We seek your face
39:46We seek your face
39:48We seek your face
39:51Come and wash us clean
39:55Heal our land
39:59From heaven
40:00From heaven you hear us
40:01From heaven you move
40:03When we come humbled
40:05You make all things new
40:07We turn, we pray
40:08We seek your name
40:10And mercy falls like rain
40:16Heal our land
40:18Heal our land
40:20Heal our land
40:22Heal our land
40:23Heal our land
40:24Forgive us, Lord
40:25Forgive us, Lord
40:27Forgive us, Lord
40:28Heal our land
40:30We seek your face, we seek your face, we seek your face
40:37Come and wash us clean
40:44Heal our land
41:09From our cold, dead hands

41:19We got news for you, ungodly
41:24Left-wingers

41:34From our God to our guns
41:38From us you'll never sever
41:41We hold these truths
41:45Self-evident
41:49Forever
41:53They called us names
41:57Bitter clingers
42:00From their towers so high
42:05They think they know us
42:09They think they own us
42:12But they don't know a thing
42:17From our cold, dead hands
42:21You won't take them
42:24Our rights, our land
42:27Our God to our guns
42:30From our cold, dead hands
42:33You won't sever
42:35These truths we hold
42:40Forever
42:45They preach their words
42:48Ungodly whispers
42:51Ungodly whispers
42:52Trying to change our minds
42:57They talk of new ways
43:00They talk of new ways
43:00Of different days
43:02They talk of new ways
43:04But we remember what's true
43:09From our cold, dead hands
43:12From our cold, dead hands
43:13You won't take them
43:16You won't take them
43:16Our rights, our land
43:18Our God, our guns
43:21From our cold, dead hands
43:24You won't sever
43:26These truths we hold
43:31Forever
43:36We stand our ground
43:40United strong
