00:303 fastest laps in a row than now for number 93 game on big time 38.495 from Mark Marquez
00:39doing his level best to try and keep that advantage around six seven tenths is Acosta your leader as he
00:45powers through turn four this is where Mark Marquez yesterday in the sprint was sublime he was so so good
00:52getting that Michelin rear tyre hooked up for this squirt of acceleration down to turn five gap remains the same
00:59six tenths between the two Spaniards the two superstar Spaniards as they break into five Acosta's actually big questions already
01:07of that KTM when he's trying to stop it into turn five Bagnaglia is now on near enough the leading
01:12pace he's in the 38.2 in third place they are near enough a second a lap quicker than the
01:17group behind them which is still being led all credit to Jack Miller still hanging on to that fourth spot
01:24Bastianini has got himself back inside the top ten he just picked off a Ras Gatlioglu after his trip through
01:29the long lap penalty loop they kind of sense they kind of know what's coming don't they here anxious faces
01:35in the background there with Sebastian Reza KTM technical director
01:39and Acosta's crew chief Paul Trevathan there's a long long way to go in this Grand Prix of Hungary we
01:46are on lap nine of 26 Mark Marquez does not need to take any silly risks here to try and
01:51hunt down Pedro Acosta the last three or four laps he's clearly at the upper hand in terms of pace
01:58through the final corner we're going to go very very shortly here is Acosta there over the line he is
02:04responding this is awesome
02:05what a ride this is what a race this is two top talents in Monday GP going toe-to-toe
02:13right now Acosta now the faster rider on track with a 138.460 300s faster than Mark
02:19top racks back ahead of Bastianini now for that tenth place this is this huge scrap fourth fifth sixth seventh
02:25eighth and ninth so we've got Millet still leading a trio of Hondas
02:30Marini Marrera Mier right behind him then it's Agoura and look right on the back of this train in a
02:35battle essentially for fourth place is Ika Lekwona for Grasini Ducati
02:39nowhere once again in the two factory Yamahas Alex Rins has just in fact picked off Fabio Quattararo for 13th
02:46place they were a long long way back of this battle how wide is Jack Miller making that Pramac Yamaha
02:51we know it's a pretty tough proposition to make clean overtakes
02:55here in Balaton and nobody at the moment has been able to find a way through on the very resilient
03:00Aussie at the moment just as you knew he would be there is your top
03:04two in the left-hand corner of your screens the gap between Acosta and Marquez has just crept up to
03:09nigh on nine tenths
03:11of course there's plenty of Japanese honour up for grabs here between Yamaha and Honda Yamaha would be the best
03:18result they've had this season
03:19Quattararo has had a couple of recent top sixes but a potential fourth up for grabs here for Jack Miller
03:25doesn't matter what kind of pace he's doing can he just hold this
03:28tossy upon us behind him and it gets a rather frustrated I Agoura that we're riding on board with
03:32who's surely the fastest rider in this group but still bottled up in eighth place
03:37yeah he's completely stuck isn't he rush hour traffic this as far as Agoura goes we're on board with the
03:42Japanese rider
03:44Acosta and Marc Marquez are next level in this Grand Prix
03:48they are getting faster and faster and faster and they're putting more and more pressure on each other
03:54as this race unfolds a 138.4 again from Acosta that's successive 38.4 from the KGM rider
04:01but it's been bettered by a 38.3 by Marc Marquez
04:05can Acosta sustain this kind of speed I mean it's dynamic pace but will that soft rear tyre go the
04:11distance
04:12underneath him and will Marc Marquez I guess be able to sustain sustain this chord of speed because of his
04:17physical issues
04:18we know for well that Marc Marquez is not a hundred percent he's still awfully quick for someone who's got
04:24perhaps one and three-quarter
04:25arms at his disposal but can Marc Marquez sustain this pace when will the fatigue and the aching and the
04:31pain start to kick in for the world champion
04:33you just know that Miller inside that helmet he's just saying to himself Jack
04:37I just break as late as you possibly can and then it's just good luck the rest of them
04:42they're not going to be able to find a way through if you just hit your markers
04:45the policy will be well if I'm breaking this late if anybody else comes through on me I'm going to
04:50be
04:51really finally does get through so it's Jackman at the moment versus HRC isn't it Miller finally yields to
04:59Marini he's got Marrera and Mir for company directly behind him
05:02yeah watch Marini now disappear up off the road and can Marrera and Mir also make a move quickly on
05:08Jack Miller looking on the time information and Miller is also in the soft rear tyre so too is Marini
05:14Marrera is the one rider in this group that we're looking at who's on the medium rear tyre
05:18and don't discount Rasgatlioglu and Bastia Iguanini there started to charge back towards the rear tyre of Ika Lekuona
05:25over the line we go still in those mid 38s are Acosta and Marc Marquez the gap just over half
05:33a second
05:33is Marrera going to be close to attack Miller on the brakes into the first corner no he's not Miller
05:38just too strong
05:38on the front end of that Prima Pramac Yamaha that was Lekuona nearly into the back of Agura there as
05:44he almost overshot the first corner when you're in such a big pack with the draft coming from the front
05:48end of the front end of that Prima Pramac Yamaha
05:48all the riders up ahead of you so so easy just to get hoovered up into the rear tyre of
05:52the guy up ahead of you
05:54Lekuona was able to avoid that kind of incident and didn't lose any positions either he's still ahead of his
05:58former super biker opposition I guess top rack 9th and 10th
06:03Am I going to deceive me or does it visibly look like Marc Marquez is just creeping ever closer
06:07to the rear tyre of Acosta's factory KTM it's getting a bit scrappy a bit messy there wasn't it further
06:13down the field
06:14Agura almost getting caught out there as he closed in on Guamia's factory Honda
06:19yeah Marrera once he got through Marrera on Miller he got straight away down to a 1.39.4 which
06:24was his best lap of the Grand Prix
06:25and now Marrera this is out some more pain on Miller is that going to work out no it's not
06:30through the chicane of turns 9 and 10
06:32chicken head there for Diogo Marrera he's seeing Marrera disappear off the road thinking I got his pace too
06:38I could get off after him and potentially get a fourth place in the MotoGP Grand Prix
06:43at the moment though he cannot fix this puzzle of Jack Miller who's now running fifth
06:48Acosta's big trunk card in this Grand Prix could well be the second and third sectors
06:51once we get into the chicanes on this circuit Acosta so so good and now Agura is going on the
06:57attack
06:57he's now up the inside of Juan Mir so finally Agura getting up to speed he's now up into seven
07:0238.4 by Acosta guess what slightly faster another
07:07fastest lap of this Grand Prix is Marc Marquez this is building and building we're at half
07:13waist distance 13 laps of 26 nothing dividing Acosta and Marc Marquez right now
07:20and here Bastian is another long lap penalty short cutting at turn 16
07:25is almost a more long lap some proper laps here today in Hungary so what's that now third fourth fifth
07:31time that Marc Marquez has set the best lap of this race still though still has not been get close
07:37enough to strike on Acosta and getting close enough to Acosta is one thing been able to overtake him
07:42is another will the extra grip he might have from that medium rear tire prove the benefit for Marc Marquez
07:48where it'll prove a benefit is out of turn four and out of turn 17 that's where he needs to
07:53be stronger
07:53than Acosta to bring himself into overtaking range into the two big stops on this circuit
07:58Mourinho's pace has gone through the roof since he dispensed with Miller he's now down to a 139.1
08:04so as soon as he was able to get through on the determined Aussie Mourinho's pace has dropped considerably
08:10in fact he's matching the pace of a Pekka Bagnard this would be his best ever Honda resort for Luke
08:15Mourinho his previous best was a fifth here in Balaton last year it would be his best resort since he
08:21was on the podium at Qatar in 2023 Marc Marquez is coming the shark under attack at the moment isn't
08:30he
08:3093 versus 37 a very pensive looking factory Ducati a tech guru Gigi Deline but you just get the feeling
08:38well the shark leading but it's time to cue the jaws Moosie behind him isn't it
08:42both know what they're up against here fastest out of 38.3 once again for Marc Marquez
08:47Acosta's not going slowly he's doing 38.5s leading the race Acosta knows that he's up against a rider
08:53who is simply relentless who is born to win a MotoGP searching for a 100th Grand Prix victory
09:00but Marc Marquez also knows what he's up against he's up against a rider who will not take a single
09:04backward step up against the reigning world champion as he chases a first MotoGP win
09:10Binder inside the top 10 he's just got through on Raus Gatlioglu further down the field
09:14into the heartbreaking zone we go turn five that's going to be a real strong overtaking
09:19hot spot at four mark when does he feel like it's going to be his moment might be coming very
09:25very
09:25quickly he's all over the rear tire of Acosta into nine and ten this again we go
09:30and for the first time in here in Balotun Marc Marquez leads he's going to drop right across the nose
09:35of Acosta
09:35side by side they go now through the left-hander of turn 11 sideways there wasn't he
09:40sideways on the brakes was Marc Marquez left the door open Acosta barges his way through
09:46said Pedro Acosta is not going to give this up without an almighty fight he saw Marc Marquez was slightly
09:52wrong
09:52footed after getting up the inside into turn nine he knew he had to seize the lead straight away
09:57Marc Marquez go down to turn 11 in front he was surely going to pull away here comes Marquez they're
10:01now
10:01attacking on the brakes once again who is going to win the game of chess on the brakes oh it's
10:06a block pass
10:06from Marquez they're squeezing each other are they rubbing shoulders with each other big big contact
10:11wasn't there as they exited turn 16 through the final corner we go these two have gone toe-to-toe
10:18last weekend in Mugello not for the victory we've seen him have a controversial early scrap in the sprint in
10:24Burram this is the battle we have been waiting for Acosta runs in a little bit hot into the first
10:31corner but Acosta versus Marquez is on you think Pedro Acosta wants this he's come so close on so
10:37many occasions to a MotoGP victory but surely the biggest challenge you could possibly be faced with
10:42in a MotoGP race when you're chasing your first win holding off Marc Marquez can Acosta do it
10:48this is pride this is not just 25 points this is pride this is ego there's so much on the
10:53line here between these
10:54two Acosta parks is going to him mid corner going through turn five that's allowed Marc Marquez just to
11:01jump on his rear tie once again we're going to come to the chicane in nine and ten where Marc
11:05got briefly through
11:06last time is this going to be another time he's going to attack it is so this is successive laps
11:10then
11:10when a 93 has sent on the inside of Acosta it'll just run Acosta out to the paintwork Acosta just
11:16have to close the throttle there that was crucial they've got his tactics spot on there didn't he
11:21number 93 Marc Marquez he is back at the front and now already he has got daylight between himself and
11:25Acosta
11:26and Acosta tried to drop it across the nose of Marc Marquez but he wasn't far enough ahead to do
11:30it
11:30in many respects it was a different strategy to the lap before where he let Marc Marquez have the apex
11:35of
11:35turn nine and ten because he could then attack him on the way out Marc Marquez now has clear road
11:40ahead of him and of course has the superior late race grip he's on the medium rear tire of course
11:45well how much time did that battle cost him as Dwan Mir unfortunately well he was nearly sent
11:49into the gravel trap by Nea Bastienini at the start of this Grand Prix unfortunately this all of his own
11:56doing Dwan Mir then going out of contention yeah Marc Marquez he was in the 1.40s on the previous
12:04lap
12:04after the skirmish the close skirmish with Acosta but with clear road ahead of him straightaway he's
12:09able to drop back into the 1.39s and he's jumped over a three-quarters of a second clear of
12:14Acosta
12:15already has that been the decisive moment was that the decisive move you have to doff your cap to Acosta
12:23he toughed it out he hung in there for as long as he could well he tried so so desperately
12:28to lean
12:29on Marc Marquez that's how close it got through the last chicane through 15 and 16 does not get any
12:37closer than that does it that was what Acosta tried to do here he tried to hold on the outside
12:42so he'd have the inside for 10 but ultimately wasn't far enough ahead of Marc Marquez who just blocked
12:47him out of it altogether the lead is now over one second and Marc Marquez now surely the only thing
12:53that could bring Pedro Acosta back into play is a mistake or a physical drop-off for the reigning
12:59world champion how does he keep doing it he keeps bouncing back from injuries he keeps bouncing back
13:08from surgeries he never knows when he's beaten does he at Marc Marquez at the moment he's going
13:14getting your vote at home as the rider of the race no surprise to see Pedro Acosta is getting
13:18a fair chunk of your appreciation at home as well but Marc Marquez well on Thursday in the pre-event
13:27press conference I asked him if there's any hope of him fighting for the win or even the podium here
13:31this weekend the sprint of the Grand Prix his answer was very short no forget it um well we've not
13:38forgotten what you said and you've proven as well you've proven yourself I think very very wrong
13:42and this is a Marc Marquez who is going to get stronger and stronger physically as we go through
13:47the year we've matched ourselves just how good this 2026 Ducati is we've not really been able to find
13:51out until we've seen Marc Marquez at his peak on it we think we're going to see the answer in
13:56the
13:56second half of the season of course still a long way to go still nine or ten laps remaining as
14:00Miller goes in hot into the first quarter he didn't look like he was the only one
14:03which releases Agoura into fifth place Marc Marquez if you put the flag out now he'd be 72
14:09points behind Marco Vececchi could he you bet he could nobody is going to be writing off the 93 at
14:15this early stage of the season well and truly now on course uh for what would be his ninth
14:22pole position sprint win and Grand Prix win treble has been the closing in on uh La Crona's rear tire
14:29as they break hard into turn five that's a battle for eighth and ninth
14:32believe it arrived by uh Ike La Crona maybe threatening himself back in the point
14:38scoring place after his first corner drama is Fabio Di Gellantonio who's done a really good job actually of picking
14:44up what was a pretty damaged Ducati GP 26
14:47digits 16th at the moment just over two seconds behind Binales
14:51Crona into the chicane went wide and that wrong-footed Binder who saw the opportunity coming
14:55La Crona was just about able to stay on the race track if he'd taken the short good he would
14:59have had to drop a second which is why he was so keen to just
15:02angle crowbar that Ducati into the next corner he was successful and it's now put Binder under pressure from top
15:08back and the recovering Bastianini
15:10another top five in coming for Ayagura he has just picked off Jack Miller so Ayagura they're now up into
15:16the top six 1.3 seconds
15:18is Mark Marquez's lead over Pedro Acosta nine laps to go we're certainly coming to the phase of this Grand
15:26Prix where Mark Marquez if he is going to run out of steam if he is going to start getting
15:30fatigued if he is going to start getting tired
15:32and struggle physically well this is the point of the Grand Prix right now Agura just like Mourinho did as
15:38soon as he is able to get through on Miller his pace just picks up dramatically straight away through on
15:43Miller down to 139.608 Agura fifth
15:47Bastianini after two long lap penalties now at the inside of top bracket back into the top ten once again
15:53Acosta did take two tenths back on Mark Marquez through the first sector of this current lap is much easier
15:59said than done
16:00Acosta he's got to try and just keep whatever pressure he can on the reigning world champion we understand Mark
16:05Marquez went hot into turn one which saw him lose those two tenths Acosta still just over a second behind
16:11Miller now clinging on to a place inside the top six he's got Moreira for company directly behind him
16:18it's been a top ride this by Miller whatever happens come what may at the end of this Grand Prix
16:23this is going to be by far the the best finish for him on that new V4 powered M1
16:30it's worth noting as Mark Marquez did note last weekend himself in Mugello you have to
16:35give so much kudos so much respect to Acosta because it is crystal clear to anybody watching about the GP
16:43right now that the KTM underneath Acosta
16:45is not on a par performance wise with the factory Ducati which just shows what a brilliant job Acosta has
16:53done once again unfortunately for the Spanish ride it does look like once again he is going to come up
16:59just that little bit short it's not over he's only 1.2 seconds behind Mark Marquez
17:04look at that but five fastest laps that Mark Marquez has sent three of them were in the space of
17:09four laps before that 38-3 on lap 13
17:11you can see the lap that they battled with lap 14 when they lost two seconds on that lap as
17:16they were in a very personal duel for Grand Prix victory
17:19is it a duel that Mark Marquez is on the verge of winning
17:24yeah this is him well how hard is he pushing to keep Acosta right that's how hard look at that
17:30about a foot in the air wasn't it that rear tire
17:32and he'd have been a little bit careful there a little bit wary
17:35newly resurfaced section of Tour 1 has been pretty slick and pretty greased throughout this weekend it caught Mark out
17:41yesterday right at the start of his first flying lap in Q2
17:44Marrera finally gets through on Miller which is a job that Mourinho and Agoura completed ahead of him
17:52he's had to do it the hard way as Diogo Marrera has taken him 19 laps to find a way
17:57through on Jack Miller
17:59Fabio Quattararo must have thought his day couldn't get any worse I'm afraid Fabio fans it just has as you
18:04can see there on your screens
18:05he took a short good at this chicane turns 9 and 10 long lap penalty that has now put in
18:10second from the back of the field
18:11only Cal Crutchlow is now behind the 2021 champion
18:14there's been plenty of rubber laid down in that long lap penalty look today hasn't there an air Bastianini has
18:19been a
18:19almost a permanent fixture in it
18:21is there than any late drama
18:24I mean Mark Marquez
18:25now you feel
18:27he's just riding on pure
18:29adrenaline
18:30this
18:31was a flashback to the chaotic start
18:34Jorge Marti losing control of his factory Aprilia
18:37Fabio de Gian Antonio
18:39who for once made a really good start didn't he
18:41Fermin Aldeguet
18:43innocent victims
18:44of that rash attack
18:46going into turn one
18:48three Aprilias
18:50out of contention
18:51before we'd even got into the second corner
18:54thankfully it looks like all of those parties involved have escaped any kind of injury because
18:58when there's flying motorcycles around in a tight group of 22 going into that first corner
19:05relieved to see it looks like they've all emerged and escaped
19:08Jorge Marti is that ongoing treatment in the medical centre
19:11but Mourinho Nogura now in the 38s
19:14they're quicker than Bagnaya
19:15Bagnaya still stuck in those low 139s
19:18so
19:19those two
19:20have got podium pace
19:21but they just spent
19:22way way too long
19:24way too much time
19:25trying to find a way through on Miller
19:27I suspect Bagnaya is just all riding within himself to a certain extent here
19:30he's in a very very lonely third place
19:32he's six and a half seconds behind Pedro Acosta
19:35but he's six seconds clear
19:36of Luca Mourinho
19:37interesting looking at that replay at the start
19:39Bagnaya wasn't actually in third coming out of the turn one
19:41it was Moreira
19:42who came out of that corner in third
19:43clearly Bagnaya attacked on the way into turn five
19:45on that first lap
19:47and that was clearly a very crucial move
19:48for Peko Bagnaya to secure what at the moment is set to be a third consecutive podium
19:53Quattararo has completed his long lap
19:58as we look at Mark Marquez who has checked out
20:00he has checked out at the front of this Grand Prix
20:04now it's just all about the focus
20:07all about the concentration
20:09he hasn't tended to
20:11uh
20:12fluff his lines
20:13and
20:13as if to just
20:14emphasize his points
20:16to
20:17emphasize his dominance
20:18guess what
20:19you stay there
20:20there Pedro
20:20he has just fired in a
20:24138.313
20:25yet another fastest lap of this Grand Prix
20:28half a second clear of Acosta
20:30if Acosta had any hopes
20:31fading hopes
20:32of battling Mark for the victory late on here
20:35I think they have just been well and truly extinguished
20:38you stay just where you are Pedro
20:40is the message from Mark Marquez
20:42on lap 20 of 26
20:44a 138.313
20:46no obvious signs of fatigue setting in for the world champion yet
20:50Quattararo has just been given another long lap penalty
20:53he's taken another short cut
20:54but it's not going to cost him any race time at this stage
20:57he's still comfortably clear of Crutchlow
20:59but a weekend that Fabio Quattararo cannot wait to end
21:01he has taken another short cut
21:03this time around
21:04it's in the first chicane through 9 and 10
21:08could be giving those
21:09Nemojar engineers
21:10a short fuse
21:11after this Grand Prix as well
21:13because
21:13it's been a dreadful weekend
21:15for Fabio Quattararo
21:17he spoke to the media
21:18saying that right now
21:19he's really suffering
21:19that motivation issues
21:21to keep plugging away
21:22to keep
21:24battling
21:24and digging deep on that
21:26V4 powered M1
21:28Mark Marquez then
21:29on
21:3020 lap old tyres
21:32are doing a 38.3
21:35he's always been a master at tyre management throughout
21:38his Grand Prix career
21:40mid-race
21:41well
21:42we had a belter in Balaton
21:43we thought we were going to be set up for a grandstand finish
21:46but
21:46Mark Marquez
21:48simply had
21:49other ideas
21:50he turned the screw
21:51on Acosta
21:52and now for the first time
21:53in this Grand Prix
21:54his lead has crept up to over 2 seconds
21:57and now Acosta is doing mid 39
21:59surely that soft rear tyre is starting to cry enough
22:02for Pedro Acosta
22:03who must have really pushed it to its limit
22:05in the first half of this Grand Prix
22:07to try and keep
22:07Mark Marquez
22:09behind him
22:10Mark had to work hard for it
22:12but in the end
22:13his work was rewarded with the lead
22:15and Pedro Acosta ultimately has not had enough
22:18to keep the world champion at bay in the latter stages
22:21and Mark will surely now be just for the back of his own concentration
22:25and he's still doing 38
22:27and often
22:27riders say that the easiest way to lose concentration
22:30is when you start backing off
22:32when you start dropping off your pace
22:34a little bit in races
22:35so Mark Marquez
22:35surely not going to take any risks here
22:38keep the pace up
22:39keep the pressure on
22:40that's the best way to keep your concentration
22:41well he's miles ahead of schedule
22:43Davide Tardoxi Factory Ducati
22:45felt like
22:46it would be Bruno at the earliest
22:47our next Grand Prix in Czechia
22:49where he would be getting anywhere near peak fitness
22:52this was the first or one of two big battles they had
22:57going through that nine and ten flip flop
22:59through that chicane
23:02more of this in the rest of 2026 and beyond
23:05gentlemen please
23:06because we love this battle
23:08what a fight this was
23:10fairing to fairing
23:12handlebar to handlebar
23:14knee to knee and elbow to elbow
23:16look how tight this was
23:17it was a little nudge there wasn't it
23:18Acosta
23:19sort of deliberately just
23:21maneuvering his right shoulder
23:23and his elbow
23:24yes
23:24GG the line
23:26well he's going to have the
23:27the tough management challenge next year
23:29managing the pair of them
23:31together inside that factory Ducati garage
23:33that was though the moment where
23:35Acosta's defense
23:36his brilliant defense
23:38was finally broken
23:39it was some resistance
23:41but once again unfortunately
23:43the KTM star
23:45is going to have to play second fiddle
23:48it's going to be his 13th podium
23:51in the MotoGP World Championship
23:53which will break a new record
23:54he'll now be the rider with the most podiums
23:57in MotoGP history
23:58without converting any of them into the top step
24:01very familiar feeling this for MotoGP viewers
24:04last few laps of a race
24:05and who's on the move
24:06but Ayagura on board with him
24:07in fifth place
24:08he zoomed up to the back of Luca Marini
24:10who tried to leg it up the road
24:12after passing Miller unfortunately
24:13he didn't get far enough up the road
24:15to fend off
24:16the fastest finisher
24:17in Grand Prix racing these days
24:18Ayagura potentially still
24:20rewarded with a fourth place
24:22in these final four laps
24:23if he can pass Marini's Honda
24:24still a potential double top ten
24:26incoming for
24:27Prima Planck Yamaha
24:28a maiden top ten for
24:29top right Rouse Gatlioglu
24:31he's still right on the rear tire
24:32of Bastiani
24:33and he in their fight
24:34a four tenth
24:35the gap between those two
24:36down to four tenths of a second
24:38Marini
24:39this is new
24:39pushing his bike in the middle of the race track
24:41to try and fend off Okura
24:42it's wrong footed him a little bit though
24:44into the chicane
24:45Okura just
24:46charges up the inside
24:47a little bit too hot though
24:48for Okura
24:49the inside of Marini
24:50so in the end
24:51he has to stay back in fifth place
24:52Fabio Quattararo
24:53has decided to call it a day
24:55with a shake of the head
24:56to Diego Gubellini
24:57his crew chief
24:58Quattararo was quite keen
25:00for this race to end
25:00it has ended
25:01a four laps early
25:03absolute stink up
25:04this weekend
25:05for Fabio Quattararo
25:07you have to put this in the category
25:08of one of his worst ever
25:10Moda GP weekend's
25:1217th on the grid
25:13absolutely nowhere was he
25:15in the sprint yesterday
25:17it has been a tough one
25:18this weekend
25:19for Fabio Quattararo
25:22clear evidence of how hard it is to overtake
25:24here in Balaton
25:26Okura went charging through on
25:28Luca Marini
25:28but
25:29you kind of
25:30the moves have to be pretty desperate
25:31don't they
25:32to make them stick
25:34further up the road
25:35or further behind I should say
25:36is Moreira
25:36he's on course for a superb
25:396th place
25:40Miller still hanging on
25:41for 7th
25:42Hiko Lekuona
25:42a super sub in every sense
25:44for Alex Marquez
25:45is still in 8th
25:47he's about half a second clear
25:48of Binda
25:497 tenths clear of Bastianini
25:51still game on for the top
25:53back Ralsgatlioglu
25:54in the fight for his first top 10
25:56and it's worth reflecting on
25:57with the world champions
25:58situation as it is
25:59Betsechi Martin
25:59out of the race
26:00Gian Antonio is still out there circulating
26:03he's right at the top of the picture there
26:04Digio's got himself up into 13th place
26:06for 3 world championship points
26:08here he now comes into picture
26:10he might still catch Alex Rinje
26:12for 12th
26:13for 4 points
26:14so as it stands
26:14Digio would close to within 43
26:16of Marco Betsechi
26:18and if we're considering
26:19to Gian Antonio
26:19a genuine title contender
26:21these could be priceless points
26:22that's a slap in the face
26:24for Frankie Morbidelli
26:25Fabio Di Gian Antonio
26:27was involved in that
26:28first corner chaos
26:29wasn't he?
26:30he lost a whole chunk of time
26:32as he tried to get back on that
26:34damaged GP 26
26:35and he's now past Frankie Morbidelli
26:38on that previous lap
26:39Frankie Morbidelli
26:41not enjoying
26:42his 150th
26:43by the GP start
26:44at all
26:45as he pushed back down
26:46to P14
26:48this battle continues
26:50to rave between
26:51Mourini and Agoura
26:53once again
26:53at Agoura
26:54quite clearly
26:55you can visibly see
26:56how much faster he is
26:57than Mourini
26:58but just can't find a way through
27:00trying to get the drive now
27:02at the final corner
27:02is he gonna be close enough
27:03to attack Mourini on the brakes
27:04into turn one?
27:05Mourini once again
27:06held the inside of the race track
27:07but then of course goes across
27:08to the racing line
27:09Agoura lets the brakes off
27:10desperately trying to get
27:11to the apex first
27:12and this time he is able
27:13to park it in front of
27:15Luca Mourini
27:15fourth would have been
27:16a best Honda result for Mourini
27:18fifth would still equal it
27:20yeah surely the game's up there now
27:22as far as Mourini's concerned
27:23we know what the great
27:24corner speed the Aprilia has
27:26through three and four
27:27we go Agoura
27:28picking up the throttle
27:29now trying to pick up
27:30some decisive drive grip
27:32so that Mourini's not
27:33close enough to retaliate
27:34on the brakes now
27:35in 2-5
27:36and that was perfect
27:37from Agoura
27:39can he get it stopped
27:40into turn five
27:41he certainly can
27:42and that should be it
27:44as far as
27:44fourth place is concerned
27:45the one saving grace
27:47for Aprilia
27:47this afternoon isn't he
27:48Agoura after
27:49their other three riders
27:50were all wiped out
27:52of the first corner
27:53of the race
27:53when Jorge Martin
27:54got it all wrong
27:55into the opening hairpin
27:57and wiped out
27:58Marco Betsechi
27:58his title rival
27:59plus Raul Fernandes
28:01Dijan Antonio
28:02and Aldegar also involved
28:03Dijan Antonio
28:04the only rider
28:05in that group
28:05who rejoined
28:06and as mentioned
28:07he is still recirculating
28:08in 13th place
28:09well there's no beating
28:11Marc Marquez
28:12in Balaton
28:12is there at all
28:13pole position last season
28:15sprint win last season
28:17Grand Prix win last season
28:18and another treble
28:20looming large
28:21for the reigning
28:22world champion
28:23he is going to end
28:24Ducati's long
28:25long banner
28:25and the factory Ducati team
28:27hasn't won since
28:28the Japanese Grand Prix
28:29in Matteigi
28:29last September
28:30on the day that Marc
28:31was crowned world champion
28:32for the seventh time
28:34it's going to be a 100th victory
28:36surely for the factory Ducati team
28:38and surely for Marc Marquez
28:40it will be his 100th
28:42Grand Prix success
28:44on a weekend
28:45where he has dispelled
28:46all doubts
28:47about whether
28:48he would be able to
28:49get back to his best
28:50after more operations
28:51more injuries
28:52more setbacks
28:53he is back again
28:55surely would never have imagined
28:56when he claimed
28:57win number 99
28:58and held his letters aloft
28:59on the podium in Mizano
29:00that he'd have to wait this long
29:02that he'd have to go through
29:03more surgery en route
29:04but every time
29:05you knock Marc Marquez down
29:07he gets back up again
29:08and fights back stronger
29:10he was pushed
29:11he was pushed
29:12in the first half
29:13of this Hungarian Grand Prix
29:15all the way by Pedro Acosta
29:17Acosta
29:18has run its course
29:20but he has produced
29:21another brilliant ride
29:22going to be another podium
29:23for the KGM star
29:25but
29:25there'll be a massive smile
29:27on the face of Marc Marquez
29:28inside that helmet
29:30joy
29:31relief
29:32all the emotions
29:33that he's been through
29:34so many times
29:36in his Grand Prix career
29:37what is it again though
29:39about
29:39anti-clockwise tracks
29:41with the 33 year old Spaniard
29:43this is going to be
29:44his 35th win here
29:4633 year old Spaniard
29:48I should say
29:48here he goes then
29:49into the final sector
29:51this is going to be
29:52such a super sweet feeling
29:54isn't it?
29:55for Marc Marquez
29:56the reigning world champion
29:57with just one corner left
29:59Marc Marquez
30:00has had a blast
30:02at Balaton Park
30:03once again
30:03he wins
30:04in Hungary
30:05to make it
30:06100 wins
30:07for one very
30:08special rider
30:09one very
30:10special talent
30:11the superstar
30:12Spaniard
30:13completes his century
30:14victories
30:15in Ducati's
30:16centenary year
30:17and puts his name
30:18with Italian
30:19Hall of Famers
30:20Giacomo Agostini
30:21and Valentino Rossi
30:23in the exclusive
30:24100 wins club
30:25what a rollercoaster ride
30:27it has been
30:27of extreme highs
30:28and lows
30:29since his first
30:31Grand Prix victory
30:32almost 16 years ago
30:33to the day
30:34but a rider blessed
30:36with a ton of talent
30:37now has a ton of
30:38Grand Prix victories
30:39plenty more to come
30:41I'm sure
30:41Marc Marquez then
30:42wins here
30:43he does completely
30:44treble here
30:45in Balaton
30:46Pedro Acosta
30:47takes second place
30:48Pekka Vanyai
30:49is on the podium
30:50for the third race
30:51in succession
30:52Aya Gura
30:53emerges from all of the
30:54first corner
30:55chaos to fourth
30:56top six is for
30:57Mourinho and
30:58Mourinho
30:58that's an equal best
30:59Grand Prix finish for
31:01HRC for
31:01Luca Mourinho
31:02Lekka Wona got
31:03Miller late on for seventh
31:05Miller in the top ten
31:06with Bastianini
31:06and Binder
31:07Muxmata GP wins
31:09there
31:10Valentino Rossi
31:11looking over his
31:12shoulder now as
31:12Marc Marquez captures
31:13his 74th
31:15Grand Prix success
31:16top right
31:17Rasgatlioglu takes
31:18a best of 11th
31:19just behind Brad Binder
31:20points for
31:21Fabio de Gianantonio
31:23wasn't his day
31:24at all was it
31:25as he was involved
31:26in that first quarter
31:26chaos instigated by
31:28Jorge Martin
31:29but take a bow
31:30in Ducati's
31:31centenary year
31:32Marc Marquez reaches
31:33a century of wins
31:35the factory
31:36Ducati team
31:37reach a century
31:38of wins
31:39this
31:40World Championship
31:41defence
31:41is now well
31:43and truly
31:43up and running
31:45yeah on a day
31:45where Aprilia
31:46imploded
31:47Marc Marquez
31:49explodes into life
31:50in this 2026 season
31:52a season
31:53blighted so much
31:55by his physical
31:56condition
31:56the injury to his
31:57shoulder
31:58another operation
31:59a broken foot
32:00but you can never
32:01break the spirit
32:02of Marc Marquez
32:03I think the adrenaline
32:05is now starting
32:06to seep out of him
32:07and the fatigue
32:08and the pain
32:08is starting to kick in
32:09but he will have the
32:10reward of a 100th
32:12winner's trophy
32:12Pedro Acosta
32:13pulls alongside him
32:15teammates next year
32:16of course
32:16the factory Ducati team
32:17what a show they put on
32:19today
32:19but the victor for the
32:20100th time
32:21is Marc Marquez
32:23he's got the special flag as well
32:25to celebrate
32:26100 wins
32:28at 4-1
32:30incredible talent
32:31let's go and get the
32:33thoughts of the boss
32:33Davide Tordoxi with Jack
32:35what a day what a weekend
32:36for the factory Ducati squad
32:37Davide
32:38nine months on
32:39from that crash
32:40in Indonesia
32:41he is once again
32:42a Grand Prix winner
32:44what does that say
32:45again
32:45about the character
32:46of Marc Marquez
32:47that he deserved the night
32:49that he has on the pocket
32:50and maybe the 10th
32:51hey
32:52do you think that's possible
32:53this year now is that
32:54is that the full focus
32:55we still keep every race
32:57as a test
32:59and a training one
33:00so we'll see
33:01congrats
33:02thank you
33:04fantastic job
33:05as mentioned
33:06Giacomo Agostini
33:08122 Grand Prix wins
33:10Valentino Rotti
33:10115
33:11Grand Prix wins
33:13but in his 293rd start
33:16Marc Marquez
33:17becomes just the third rider
33:19in history
33:19to reach the magic milestone
33:22of a century
33:24everything he's been through
33:26all of the trials
33:28and tribulations
33:29but he just keeps coming back
33:31for more doesn't he
33:32you can't keep
33:34a good man down
33:35for too long
33:35unfortunately
33:37it's a stat
33:38which Pedro Acosta
33:39won't thank us
33:40for reminding me
33:41because now he is
33:41in terms of podium finishes
33:43without a win
33:44the highest number
33:45in MotoGP history
33:47he was leveled
33:49with Colin Edwards on 12
33:49he now moves on to
33:5113
33:52great embrace there
33:54between Diogo Moreira
33:55and Niko Lacoona
33:56Lacoona was punching the air
33:58when he crossed the line
33:58so happy he was with 7th
34:00they had great Sunday
34:02brilliant day
34:03Ika Lacoona
34:04well less than a week ago
34:06he was testing
34:07the Honda World Superbike
34:08in Aragon
34:08when he got the phone call
34:09fancy replacing
34:10Alex Marquez
34:12good job
34:12he was able to answer
34:13that call
34:15fifth place then
34:16for Luca Marini
34:17that equals
34:17his best factory
34:19Honda result
34:22hasn't had too many
34:23top sixes for HRC
34:24has he?
34:24has Luca
34:25that's Pedro Acosta
34:27second
34:28second
34:29in that Grand Prix
34:31no points
34:32for the top two
34:33in the World Championship
34:35after
34:37Jorge Martins
34:39big big mistake
34:41into that first corner
34:44so the gap between the two
34:45at the top of the standings
34:46remains
34:47at 20 points
34:49but the big big mover
34:50in round eight
34:52of this year's championship
34:54clearly has been
34:55Mark Marquez
34:56who reigns
34:58supreme
34:58once again
35:01for the second year in a row
35:02he has been
35:03utterly brilliant
35:05here in Balaton
35:06the message will be loud and clear
35:08from the catty once again
35:09this
35:10is Balaton
35:11Mark
35:11and they're pretty
35:13know full well
35:13that they cannot afford
35:14any more double
35:16DNFs for their riders
35:17on a Sunday
35:18as they had today
35:19for Betsechi and Martin
35:20if they're to hold
35:21this man back
35:22you just know
35:23that he is going to be
35:25relentless
35:25I think that's Alex Marquez
35:27there I just saw
35:27on the phone there
35:28in the corner of the screen
35:29watching from home
35:30hoping to rejoin
35:31his brother on track
35:32in a couple of weeks time
35:34in Bruno
35:35enjoying
35:35his brother's
35:36century of victories
35:37it just shows
35:38how quickly
35:39the picture
35:40can change
35:41Mark Marquez
35:42has recovered
35:4330 points
35:44on Marco Betsechi
35:46here this weekend
35:47in Balaton
35:48came into
35:49this Grand Prix
35:50eighth in the world championship
35:52on 71 points
35:53he leaves it
35:54fifth in the world championship
35:56on a hundred
35:57and eight
35:58points
35:59before we hear the interviews
36:00let's go and get an update
36:02on Marco Betsechi
36:03and Hawaii Martino Jack
36:04yeah Aprilia
36:05have just provided an update
36:06on both of their riders
36:07excellent news
36:08no visible fractures
36:09for both
36:10Jorge Martin
36:11and Marco Betsechi
36:12best struggling with pain
36:13in his right hand
36:14whereas a lower back pain
36:15for Jorge Martin
36:16but the good news is
36:17no fractures
36:18for either of the Aprilia riders
36:20yeah that is great news
36:22that is a relief
36:23for the factory
36:24Aprilia team
36:26two factory Ducati's
36:28then
36:28on the podium
36:29for the first time
36:34Ducati's
36:34Ducati's
36:36Ducati's
36:37long
36:38barren run
36:38without a win
36:39it ends at 13 races
36:41a long
36:42long time
36:43since the Red Army
36:45was celebrating
36:46after that unforgettable
36:47Japanese Grand Prix
36:48look at Pedro Acosta
36:50it's on the podium
36:51but it's not the win
36:52not the win he wanted
36:54and it's yet again
36:56two second places
36:58behind Mark Marquez
36:59here in Hungary
37:00he threw the kitchen sink
37:01and the bathtub
37:02at it today
37:03but ultimately
37:03Mark Marquez just
37:04too strong on
37:06too fast a bike
37:07for Pedro Acosta
37:08and KTM today
37:09don't worry Pedro
37:10your day will surely come
37:11but surely it must be
37:13eating away at him
37:14of the record
37:15he's just set
37:16and the wait
37:17goes on
37:17for Pedro
37:19yeah what if
37:20anybody dares
37:21ask you about
37:22that record
37:22after this Grand Prix
37:24this is the moment
37:25as he looks
37:26over his left shoulder
37:28Mark Marquez
37:29then
37:30wins
37:30the Grand Prix
37:32of Hungary
37:35that is
37:36win number 100
37:37there is the
37:39salute
37:40back on the top
37:41step
37:42of the podium
37:43it has been a
37:44pretty traumatic
37:45start
37:46to the defence
37:47of his world
37:48championship
37:49oh there's been
37:50some memorable moments
37:51there hasn't there
37:51for the factory
37:52Ducati team
37:53when you look at some
37:54of the names on there
37:56Loris Caporossi
37:57Casey Stoner
37:58Andrei Divizioso
37:59Andrei Unoni
38:00Peko Bagnaia
38:02Mark Marquez
38:03Jack Minna
38:03I can see on there
38:04third place then
38:06a double factory
38:06Ducati podium
38:07Peko Bagnaia
38:08on the podium
38:09now in the last
38:09three Grand Prix's
38:10here to get his thoughts
38:11for Jack
38:12Well Peko officially
38:13it's three straight
38:14podium finishes
38:15but I think today
38:16all came down
38:17to that opening corner
38:18what did you see
38:19of that incident
38:20how lucky
38:21were you to escape it
38:22and then how did you
38:23keep the concentration
38:24for the following laps
38:28luckily as soon as I release
38:29the clutch
38:29I spin it a bit
38:31so I didn't do a good start
38:32and when I started to break
38:33I saw
38:33I just saw
38:35something arriving so fast
38:36and was Martin
38:37arriving
38:37double of the speed
38:38so maybe it was two
38:40in the inside
38:40and locked the front
38:41because the
38:43the new tarmac
38:44on corner one
38:45was very slippery
38:45but about that
38:46I know from the beginning
38:49that it wasn't my race
38:50fight against
38:51the first two riders
38:52so I tried to fall
38:53in the first laps
38:54and then I said
38:54okay calm
38:55I have three more
38:56three plus seconds
38:57from the fourth
38:58so he can just
39:00maintain this gap
39:01and it was enough
39:03because today I wasn't
39:04I didn't have the speed
39:05of the first two
39:06and I was already lucky enough
39:08top job today
39:09well done
39:11yeah I can only imagine
39:12what Peko Bagnaez
39:14saw on his right hand side
39:15in that first corner
39:16and he was so
39:17so fortunate
39:18not to be in that
39:19big tangle
39:20at turn one
39:22as always
39:24you know
39:24you're gonna get
39:25a straight back
39:26from Peko
39:26and he called it
39:27as you thought he would do
39:28just did not have anywhere
39:30near the pace to go
39:30with Marc Marquez
39:31and Pedro Acosta
39:33today
39:34but he is building
39:35some momentum back
39:36he is building
39:37some confidence back
39:38in that factory
39:39Ducati
39:40and it is
39:41three successive podiums
39:43for the first time
39:44since Austin, Qatar
39:45and Jerez
39:46last year
39:48that wasn't easy
39:49but he made it
39:50look like a cinch
39:51didn't he
39:52at Marc Marquez
39:56that body will be hurting
39:58I'm sure he saw
39:59I'm sure he's in pain
40:01but he will not care
40:03one bit
40:03Pedro Acosta
40:04a runner up
40:05once again
40:06here in Balaton
40:07let's get the Spaniards
40:08thoughts with Jack
40:10Pedro once again
40:11you have left
40:11absolutely everything
40:12out there
40:13a brilliant battle
40:14with Marc
40:15what are the emotions
40:16like at the end of it
40:17after having to settle
40:19for second again?
40:20Well we tried everything
40:21you know
40:21at the end
40:22it was a really good battle
40:23I hope that everyone
40:24at home enjoy
40:25we are trying to take
40:26the 100% of our package
40:28for this
40:29pace was good
40:29qualifying again was good
40:30back to back podiums again
40:33for this
40:33quite happy
40:34also the guys are quite happy
40:35because
40:36it was not an icy weekend
40:38here last year
40:39for this
40:39and now I think it's
40:40the moment to chill a bit
40:41at home
40:42and try to be full charge
40:43for Breno
40:44last year was quite okay
40:45thanks to everyone at home
40:47everyone that was watching
40:48the races
40:49Miguel
40:49that was helping me
40:51to go there for train
40:52for this
40:53yes we keep going
40:54brilliant job this weekend
40:55thank you dude
40:57that's all he can do
40:58isn't it
40:58is keep going
41:00keep grafting
41:01keep working hard
41:02there's nothing else he could have done
41:04there is nothing else
41:05that he could have done
41:06you will not find
41:07anybody else on planet earth
41:09right now
41:10that can get anything else
41:11out of a KTM
41:12like Pedro Acosta is doing
41:15some will argue
41:16that it's not a particularly fair fight
41:17given the superiority of the Ducati
41:19look at that
41:21talk about fighting fire
41:23with fire
41:25look at this
41:25watch this
41:26just watch the right shoulder here
41:28go on have that
41:30yeah and he dishes it out
41:31and hands it back
41:32there's Pedro Acosta
41:33that's ultimately
41:34what you've got to do
41:34when you're racing against
41:35the fastest
41:36the most talented
41:37the most ruthless
41:38the most consistent
41:39the most relentless rider
41:41in the world
41:41you have got to match him
41:43he'll match him in terms of machinery
41:44next year
41:45will Pedro Acosta
41:46he certainly matched him in terms of the
41:48fight and will to win today
41:50but in the end
41:51there can only be
41:52one winner
41:52just the sixth time though
41:54on what has still been
41:55an exceptional weekend
41:56for Acosta
41:57sixth time in 49
41:58that he has
41:59scored
42:00a double podium
42:02and Mark Marquez knows
42:03talent
42:03technology talent
42:04he'll know how good that ride was
42:06from Pedro Acosta
42:07but for the 100th time
42:09in his Grand Prix career
42:1174th time in MotoGP
42:12Mark Marquez is your winner here
42:14let's get his thoughts for Jack
42:16100 wins for Ducati
42:18and now
42:19100 career wins
42:21for you Mark
42:22and you've done it
42:22in the most Mark Marquez way possible
42:24after the highest of highs in Japan
42:26and the lowest of lows in Indonesia
42:28nine months of rehabilitation
42:31you're a Grand Prix winner again
42:33how does that sound?
42:35super happy
42:36expensive win
42:38because
42:39you know
42:40after last year
42:42changed everything
42:43but
42:43the sport is like this
42:44from one day
42:45to the other one
42:46can change everything
42:47I already learned this in 2020
42:49but
42:50again last year
42:51so we come back
42:52and we work hard
42:53some difficulties
42:54this first part of the season
42:55but
42:56I knew that maybe
42:57I don't know
42:58if I will have more chance
42:59in the next races
43:00but
43:01I knew that here was a big chance
43:02to
43:03to win
43:04the feeling on Friday was not perfect
43:06but on Saturday we did a step
43:07and
43:08and yeah just I want to say thanks
43:10to the people that believe me
43:11the
43:11the doctors
43:12the physios
43:12a lot of hours at home working
43:15but
43:16yeah
43:16you know
43:17price was expensive
43:18but
43:19happy to
43:20another comeback
43:22congratulations
43:23thank you
43:23thank you
43:25another comeback
43:27another incredible comeback
43:29how many has he made
43:30down the years
43:33he's 33 years of age now
43:35Mark Marquez
43:35he's done so much winning races
43:38so much winning world championships
43:39he's got more money
43:40in the bank than he could ever
43:42have time to spend
43:43but it's
43:45the thrill of the chase
43:47it's the thrill of the fight
43:49isn't it
43:49it's the will to win
43:50which keeps Mark Marquez going
43:53and
43:54that's the reason why
43:54he does put in all the hard work
43:56while he still feels like
43:58all the sacrifices
43:59behind the scenes are worth it
44:01just for moments like this
44:03he will enjoy it
44:04he will soak it up
44:06because you never know when it will be
44:07the last one
44:08but he becomes just the third rider in history
44:11to make it a century of wins
44:14I loved the expression
44:16an expensive win today
44:18the way Mark Marquez phrased it
44:19he certainly spent his physical reserves today
44:22in pursuit of that hundredth success
44:24well he said he sold his skin for a top six
44:26or a fight for the top six didn't he
44:28last time out in Mugello
44:32but there's the proud flag
44:34what a day it has been for Ducati
44:39rumours of Mark Marquez and the factory Ducati team's demise
44:42have been grossly exaggerated by the looks of it
44:44as Davide Tardozzi embraces Mark Marquez
44:48it was Davide Tardozzi who told Jack Denny a couple of rounds ago
44:51we expect Mark to be
44:53back to his best
44:54and rightfully on song
44:56at the Czech Grand Prix in Bruneau
44:58so clearly he's already jumped ahead of the game
45:00he's ahead of schedule
45:02and he was ahead of everybody else
45:04this weekend
45:05in qualifying
45:06the sprint
45:07and the Grand Prix
45:08here in
45:09Balaton Park
45:10as Mark Marquez does
45:11indeed complete
45:12what is the 19th
45:14treble
45:15in MotoGP
45:16the ninth time that Mark
45:18has accomplished that
45:19his last was right here
45:21at Balaton Park
45:25and if we ever do come back here
45:26we might have to rename it
45:27the Balaton Park circuit
45:29the way he goes
45:32and if any further circuits join the calendar
45:34Mark Marquez will ask
45:35can they be left-handed please?
45:37it's pretty good on any kind of circuit isn't he?
45:39you don't win
45:40nine world championships across all classes
45:42if you're not
45:42let's listen in to our top three
45:50the exit
45:51because I saw Guevara
45:51and they have been penalized

52:59Mark Marquez has stepped up once again
53:03and shown the world that he is still very much in contention for this year's MotoGP World Championship
53:15Acosta 1.3 seconds back at the checkered flag
53:20Well that's the end of our second of three European doubleheaders taking us into the summer break
53:29We've ticked off Mugello in the Tatskani Mountains
53:32What a day that was for Aprilia
53:34Fast forward a week and Aprilia's dreams have turned into a nightmare here in Hungary
53:40Bit of a break before we're racing again in the Grand Prix of Czechia
53:45Always a popular stop off at the automotor drone Bruno
53:50The Czech Republic's beautiful second city awaits the riders, the best riders in the world
53:57for chapter nine
53:59Up next, the Grand Prix of Czechia
54:05And Mark Marquez heads there with a century of Grand Prix wins
54:08Mark Marquez beats Pedro Acosta in a thrilling mid-race head-to-head
54:12Acosta second from Peko Bagnaia
54:14who took advantage of that early chaos to take a podium
54:18Aigura with his typical late flourish for fourth ahead of Luka Mourinho
54:22Diogo Moreira, sixth place for him
54:24Lekuona a stunning seventh ahead of Miller who ran fourth for so long
54:27Bastionini, two long laps on his way to ninth
54:30ahead of Binder, top rack
54:31career best for him in eleventh
54:32ahead of Gian Antonio who picked himself up
54:34the only one to do so from that first corner collision
54:36to take four points for 12
54:38Rinsmore, Videli and Vinales, your other point scorers
54:41a number of high-profile casualties on that first lap
54:45including the top two in the championship
54:47who remain unchanged
54:48Petseki still leads Jorge Martin by 20 points
54:52Gian Antonio closes now to within 42 of the lead in third
54:56after he picked up four consolation points today
54:58Pedro Acosta, 48, back now in fourth
55:00Mark Marquez within 72 of the world championship lead
55:04as he climbs three places today
55:39well they're pretty good salvage a fourth from Ayagura today so they do still lead the constructors championship but their
55:44lead virtually cut in half by Ducati now
55:47down to 13 points
55:49of course it was a zero today in the team's championship for Aprilia racing their lead though still 133 points
56:03with Ducati Lenovo now up to second
56:35we'll see you next time
56:35we'll see you next time
56:35here are some highlights
56:37the day that Mark Marquez made Grand Prix motorcycle history
56:42becoming just the third rider to achieve a century of victories across all classes
56:48not the ideal start for him though was it as he went sideways off the line but still able to
56:52hold his lead into the first corner the big moment though
56:55Jorge Martin completely out of control on his way to the first corner
56:58cleaning out his teammate and title rival Marco Vecicchi
57:02Ralph Fernandes, Fabian Aldeguer and Fabian Gian Antonio also involved
57:08Pedro Acosta would very quickly attack Mark Marquez on the second lap to claim the lead
57:12this was the big battle for fourth place being led gallantly by Jack Miller
57:18and there Bastianini had his issues at turn one that moment where he came back onto line into the side
57:23of Juan Mir
57:24landing him the first of two long lap penalties today
57:27Mark Marquez at half race distance attacked Pedro Acosta who wasn't giving this up without an almighty fight
57:33wrong footing the world champion and taking the lead back again as they rounded turn 11
57:42after contact coming through 15 later on that lap Mark Marquez would attack again
57:47this time though he wouldn't allow Acosta back through on the way out of the chicane of 9 and 10
57:52that the crucial move for Mark Marquez to secure victory
57:56in the battle further back Jack Miller had surrendered fourth place to Luca Marini
58:01but that wasn't enough for Marini to break clear as Ayagura chased him down late on to take away that
58:06fourth place
58:09but your winner for the first time this season with a 6-7 celebration
58:16it's 100 wins in all classes for Mark Marquez the world champion finally up and running in this 2026 season
58:24and his title defense might not be out of steam yet
58:27he trails Mark Marquez by 72 points still 20 points separating the Aprilia teammates after they
58:34took each other out of the way we took each other out today we'll be back in Bruneau in a
58:37fortnight style
58:38but we took each other out-of- Dorothy but our second season with my origin tier
