00:25Uh, I was familiar with a little bit of the lore, just because my mom grew up a fan of
00:29the cartoon.
00:32But then, I mean, I found it a little bit on my own, just being exposed to it through memes.

00:43My brother and I used to watch the cartoons growing up and read all the comic books and we had
00:49all of the action figures.
00:50So, when the audition came through, I thought, oh my gosh, Ram Man, I've played with this action figure.
00:56He has springy legs and really big arms and he headbutts people.
01:01Yeah, okay, you know, let's get into character.
01:05So, yeah, it was surreal to see this as an audition come through.
01:11And I thought, I can't not book this job.
01:21And how did your family react when you show up in a family gathering like, I'm going to be in
01:27the Masters of the Universe movie?
01:28Yo, Louise, let me tell you, this is like, my Cambodian grandmother, basically heartbroken to find out that I wanted
01:38to pursue acting.
01:39First thing that she's been able to see where it's like, there's like, it's in the world.
01:43She's like, not bad, not bad.
01:46So, that's been kind of nice.
01:48You know what, that's what my parents said as well when I told them that I booked the job.
01:54Because my dad helped me with the first audition tape.
01:56And he was like, I'm buying the Ram Man action figure.
02:01I think we had them all.
02:03He said he had the really springy legs.
02:05And so, when I booked the job and when I called my parents, they were so, so happy for me.
02:10And when I called my brother, he was the same thing.
02:12He was like...
02:14You tell everyone that you're from another planet.
02:20It just makes you sound a little very crazy.
02:23Well, Justin Adam is obsessed finding his sword.
02:27Your character seems obsessed with rom-coms.
02:30He's going through a heartbreak or something.
02:34Yeah, I think Hussein is, he's not too far removed from heartbreak.
02:40I also think he's just a sensitive guy.
02:43You know, he's not above watching the rom-com and experiencing the human emotions that come with that.
02:49He's not one of those guys that's trying to cover it up.

02:54They're asking me to root for cheaters.

02:57I know he's her first love.
03:01But I was watching with my girl one day and I was like, how could you make me watch this?

03:09There is a lot of red flags in that movie.

03:22You are one of the Adam's favorite heroes and when we see you fighting, we understand why.

03:30But as an actor, how difficult was it to shoot the action sequence?
03:34You are in the middle of a fight, the big armor, the props, and also dealing with CGI.
03:41So, we spent a lot of time with the stunt department and I know a lot of the stunt team
03:47because I used to be a stunt performer myself.
03:49So, I am no stranger to the many weeks of rehearsals leading up to the actual shoot day, but then
03:58putting on the armor and actually moving around with the armor.
04:02You know, you can't move as quickly, but you have to just have to roll with it, you know, and
04:09do the best you can.
04:10And because I can only hear you if I'm looking at you with the helmet, I had to be very...
04:16Yeah, because you're moving just like...
04:20Absolutely.
04:21But yeah, I mean, we didn't really have to do too much imagination just because the sets were all practical
04:28and they were all physical.
04:30You step on set and you're in Eternia.
04:33So, you didn't have to do too much imagining and it was just surreal to be there, especially when you're
04:40on set and you're in full costume and everybody else is in full costume as well.
04:44Oh my gosh, you know, we are actually on another planet.
04:53I know most of you don't remember me, but I know all of you.
04:59How did you enjoy the most during the production of the movie?
05:03Honestly, it was just getting to know everybody, all the cast members, all the crew members.
05:09These are people that I keep in touch with.
05:12Even a year after we finished filming, these are people that I still speak with.
05:16And, you know, it's like, oh, I hope we get to do it all over again.
05:21Well, with that and without any spoilers, of course, do you think that we will solve something more of Randman
05:30in the future?
05:32Well, you know, he isn't at what Randman is described as a little bit, you know, slow and dim with
05:39it.
05:40And I don't think we got to explore too much of that.
05:42So maybe, you know, in the future, you know, sequel, for instance, you know, he might have a bit of
05:48cognitive decline after head butting so much.
05:50Where you do see, you know, he does start getting a little slower.
05:55I'm happy to explore that.
05:59Randman is so much fun to portray.
06:01He's so much fun to just wear the costume and just portray the character.
06:07Oh, you know, I actually had a beautiful moment on set with Idris Elba.
06:10And it really meant a lot to me.
06:11It was just in between takes.
06:13I was letting him know how much, you know, I admired him, how much I respected the impact that he's
06:20made in this game.
06:21He's like a legend in this industry, obviously.
06:24And he took a moment, he threw a couple of compliments back my way.
06:27And he remembered me at the premiere, by the way.
06:29That was crazy.
06:30I didn't think he'd remember.
06:31It felt like, you know, like, that shit is just like probably another day for him.
06:37He probably gets his flowers from all his fans all the time.
06:40But, I don't know.
06:43He just said a couple of nice things and it really stuck with me.
06:45It meant a lot.
06:49The universe shall quake in my shadow.

06:55It's a family friendly fantasy science fiction film.
