00:00We have inflation data for one, SpaceX IPO for two. So let's start with the inflation data first.
00:04So we have CPI, PPI all next week. We have CPI that comes out on Wednesday. So stay tuned for
00:09that. If we look at the numbers, OK, so year over year, the prior was 3.8 percent. The expectation
00:14is 4.2 percent. So it's a big number. It's a big increase. The forehandle makes me uncomfortable.
00:21Right. I mean, I look at this, Lisa, and all I can do is the look ahead.
00:25Yeah. Do you have tickets Monday for the Knicks? That's just all I want to. You're the one
00:29person. You're the one person I know that actually could pull off 20 rows back.
00:36I wish. I wish. And we're going to get to those tickets because that's a big thing. And the World
00:40Cup tickets, too, on top of that, it's going to be a big thing. So we have the CPI, right?
00:45But then
00:45PPI comes out on Thursday. So we have that, too. Their numbers, if you look year over year,
00:49the prior was 6 percent. The forecast is for 6.4 percent. So another increase there as well.
00:54And that's a leading indicator. Yeah, a leading indicator and a lot of things just to keep an
00:57eye on. We've seen the price of gas increase. They're also looking for the price of airfares,
01:01how much that will increase as well. And then looking ahead, Bloomberg Economics is talking
01:05about the memory chip shortage, how that's going to play a role, too.
01:08I don't know why I was very big on that. She brought it up. It stopped me cold.
01:11Yeah, because consumer electronics. This is coming in September or October.
01:14Don't you have to buy a laptop? I have to buy a laptop for an incoming college kid now.
01:18So the laptop, if you have to buy cameras or anything like that, you have to keep an eye on.
01:22To me, the look ahead is, as we mentioned with Nikki Waller earlier, driving all of our money
01:27vertical. Lisa, how are you in Bloomberg this weekend, approaching SpaceX this weekend?
01:32SpaceX, a lot. Ed Ludlow is going to be on. So it's going to be...
01:35He's working on the weekend?
01:37Ed Ludlow loves us.
01:38Really?
01:39Ed Ludlow makes exceptions for them.
01:41He makes exceptions.
01:42That's impressive.
01:42But just to hear the talk about, you know, how this is record-breaking, you know, the numbers
01:46behind it. $75 billion, that's what they want to invest. 555 million shares, 135 a piece.
01:53So that's going for $1.8 trillion market value. So that, the question is, is it sustainable?
01:59And that's the question kind of, that you have to kind of pose.
02:01Right. You might get the pop, but what about in a week or two after that?
02:04Correct.
02:04The one thing that's not being talked about, to be quick about it, as the show ends,
02:08is we say the look ahead. I don't hear any pros on retirement and wealth management
02:13talking about the look ahead into Q4 or into 2027.
02:19They don't know what's going to happen.
02:19They don't know what's going to happen.
02:19But in the old days, the pros looked out two years and three years routinely.
02:24Yeah, you could do that, rip it up constantly.
02:25That suititude is just gone.
02:26Yeah.
02:26The look ahead is gone, looking out past 2026.
02:29I'm just looking ahead to tonight, when you've got the Knicks game, and Monday, when
02:32we bring it back to New York for Game 3.
02:34It's exciting. It's fun.
02:36And there's reports that President Trump could be there. Like, it's crazy.
02:39Gabriela Santos, shout out. J.P. Morgan's lighting of their building.
02:43It's spectacular.
02:44In Knicks colors.
02:44The orange and the blue, then Knicks color.
02:47Love it. Love it.
02:48And will the season ticket holders, who they do, can get them at face value.
02:51Are they going to hold them? Are they going to sell them? What are they going to do?
02:53You could sell them for $100,000. I don't know.
02:55It's a good arb. I have to say, it's a good arb.
02:58And then we have the World Cup, right? So the World Cup kicks off.
03:02First game in the U.S. is Friday, but Thursday kicks off in Mexico.
03:05But those tickets, too, are going for a different price.
03:08You know, it's supposed to be made affordable.
03:10But if you look at the Category 3 prices, not so much.
