00:00This 5% stake values the Warriors holding company at more than $11 billion.
00:04What's included in the stake?
00:06Well, it has a lot of different things that you would get if you buy this.
00:10It would include courtside seats, a board seat on the Golden State Group.
00:14And then, of course, what comes with this is the Warriors, the Valkyries, the Arena,
00:20the G League team, the Santa Cruz Warriors, and the surrounding real estate outside of the Chase Center.
00:26So that's quite a bit, and it's at a hefty price tag as well.
00:30You know, sports as an asset class has been something that's been established over the past few years.
00:34But, you know, it's meant to be an illiquid asset as well.
00:36But there have been so many transactions that feel like as of late that it feels less and less illiquid daily.
00:41Well, I think that if you got in on the Warriors very early, 10, 15 years ago,
00:45then, of course, now with the rise of Steph Curry and everything like that, that you want to get out.
00:50Because if you put $10 million in, well, that $10 million might be worth $300 million.
00:54It might be worth $250 million now.
00:55Now, I think it'll be interesting to see what this stake does trade for
00:59because you're talking about a 5% stake that's going to go for hundreds of millions of dollars.
01:03And you do get a board seat, of course.
01:05But with that in mind, it isn't like you're going to be making decisions.
01:08And so these things are getting more and more expensive,
01:10but people want to buy and sell and be a part of the cool clubs that are sports.
