00:01I just stranded these 100 people in the middle of the wilderness, and whichever team has the most people here
00:07when help arrives, splits that $250,000.
00:10The people wearing blue are a team of survival experts, and the people wearing red are amateurs who might not
00:17be cut out for the wilderness.
00:18Blue team, grab your bags and follow me.
00:21What's the longest you spent in the woods?
00:23Longest? Three months.
00:24Like for fun?
00:25Yeah.
00:26Oh my gosh.
00:27How many of you have been camping before?
00:29Mmm.
00:30How many of you could survive a month out here?
00:32Oh my gosh, they're cooked over there.
00:34I knew the blue team would have an advantage.
00:36So before we started, I told the red team the challenge, and even brought them to a store to get
00:40anything they needed to help them survive.
00:43Okay, show me what you found.
00:44I have rope, I have this tarp here on the floor.
00:46Whoa, did you buy a giant 24 pack of water?
00:49Absolutely!
00:50I just went ahead and went straight for the lighter.
00:51Smart! Okay!
00:53But the blue team was told that they were competing in a Mr. Beast video.
00:56I didn't know what to pack for, so I packed for any climate.
00:59I thought you were going to fly us to Alaska.
01:00For shelters, we're going to be building simple debris shelters.
01:03You just have to have a good layer of insulation.
01:05I've been practicing these skills for about a decade, but I'll need a team of 10 people to start gathering.
01:10You guys are going to build. It'll be better for morale.
01:12We ended up with a kid's tent. Luckily, I'm only like 5'5".
01:15With all the perks your team has, you think you'll beat the blue team?
01:19Yeah.
01:20Even though they're professionals.
01:22We don't care. We're professionals in our own way.
01:25Yeah.
01:26Yeah.
01:27Yay!
01:28I'm just doing what I've seen in the movies.
01:31These people do this for fun.
01:33How many nights are you guys staying?
01:34All the nights. They can stay here until Christmas until they tell us we have to leave.
01:36Their hobby is suffering in the woods.
01:40Good night.
01:42And during the first night, it was very clear that the red team's advantage was making it easier for them.
01:48But the experts struggled to keep their eyes shut as the temperatures dropped drastically.
01:53I'm so exhausted. I'm dehydrated and wondering why I'm here.
02:01I physically couldn't sleep. The ground was so cold. Everything was wet.
02:04And the only way out of this challenge is to light your flare and wait to be rescued.
02:09We just had our first person tap out.
02:12One down.
02:1249 to go.
02:13But that wasn't the only one.
02:15Sorry guys.
02:16I'm 66 years old.
02:18I had double knee replacement.
02:19I'm so sorry.
02:20Shockingly, the first two eliminations are experts from the blue team.
02:24While the red team was using their resources to sleep outside in style.
02:28It's a beautiful morning. The sun is shining.
02:31So lucky to be out here.
02:32It's nice to just take a break from the world sometimes.
02:36Meanwhile, the experts knew they needed to fix their shelters fast.
02:40Or they'd quickly lose even more people.
02:43These shelters were never meant to be just a pile of sticks and that's it.
02:46You want to pile on leaves about a foot thick.
02:48It's going to take some work from everybody.
02:50The leaves, when you start getting rain, it keeps you dry.
02:53Oh, all three of you sleep over there?
02:55Yeah. Oh yeah.
02:55Bro, their fort is massive.
02:57Do you think this will hold up well in the rain?
02:59There's only one way to find out.
03:00We're going to make our shelter and then that way we're not going to be sleeping under the rain.
03:04So we're making a roof.
03:05We just need to keep the food safe and dry.
03:07You built this?
03:08Yeah.
03:09We got to take pointers next time we do a survival event.
03:11Yeah, I know.
03:11You can just give me a cough.
03:13We might need to.
03:13And while the experts were using the most of their limited resources, the amateurs were burning through their advantage quickly.
03:20So this is all you've done?
03:23Um...
03:23Just promise me none of you are going to die.
03:25We promise.
03:26Okay.
03:27As the day turned to night, the amateurs continued to recklessly waste.
03:31I know they're still working hard, using all their energy, because they're not going to last.
03:35But the experts' hard work was already paying off.
03:39Look at this.
03:40This is better than four seasons.
03:41I think we're going to have a much more comfortable night.
03:43First of all.
03:45We're out in the woods.
03:48Slept like a baby.
03:50Wow.
03:51Just because we built a great shelter.
03:53It was warm.
03:54The red team, they probably got tents.
03:56They got sleeping bags.
03:57We got this.
03:58You know we're all out here not eating and having a blast.
04:02Backflip, bro.
04:02While the experts started their day rested and full of energy.
04:06I'm so doctor.
04:07Anybody said they're going to stop.
04:08The amateurs started theirs facing the hardest part of survival.
04:11An empty stomach.
04:13Do you have any snacks?
04:14I win.
04:15The red team spent the first two days absolutely destroying their snacks.
04:19And now.
04:20We're all so hungry.
04:22Hunger is really setting in today.
04:24We're about to go explore for food and water.
04:26Meanwhile.
04:27Foraging class starting now.
04:29With the knowledge of wilderness survivalist Seth.
04:32Blue team was able to turn their forest into a grocery store.
04:35You can always pick it and eat it as a trail nibble.
04:38He even built a fish trap out of sticks to put into the nearby river.
04:42Meanwhile, the amateurs tried out their fishing gear.
04:45But only had the skill to catch trash.
04:48But by day four, the snack situation was no laughing matter.
04:52Breaker Breaker 49.
04:53We're out of food.
04:54How much food do we have?
04:55Do you know?
04:55We don't have any food.
04:56I'm about to be snacking on this all night.
04:58We're going to go scavenger now.
04:59So because party mix lasts for 45 minutes at best.
05:02What's this?
05:03I also had a plan for that.
05:04Meat.
05:05Apples.
05:06I planted food caches all around the forest.
05:08Dude, what?
05:09With the minimum amount of food to survive.
05:11If they manage it right.
05:13I bet there's all kinds of stuff in these woods.
05:15We just got to walk around.
05:17I just found a ton of food in the woods.
05:19Oh, we're eating good tonight.
05:20Both teams established community pantries to ration out the food.
05:24So I think we're going to be alright for a little while.
05:26As long as we work together as a team.
05:28I think that's important that nobody starts turning on anybody.
05:32Dude.
05:32But over at the blue team, Julia had a different plan.
05:36I don't want them to have control of it.
05:38They're going to go crazy on the food.
05:39And there's not going to be anything left for us that are willing to starve for a week.
05:43And the people that aren't willing to.
05:44Using the food from the caches, the experts cooked up a large dinner.
05:48Oh!
05:49We're making dinner?
05:50That's insane.
05:51And tensions came to a boil.
05:53We are doing the best we can.
05:55Not everybody's going to be happy.
05:56But we can't make you happy if you don't communicate with us.
06:00We're up!
06:01Goodnight!
06:05Where is their shed, Chelsea?
06:07Randy's suspicions revealed a new obstacle in this challenge.
06:10No way.
06:11Are you for real?
06:12Potatoes.
06:13Their own teammates.
06:14Look at this.
06:15This is the stash we found in their shed when they left.
06:19They weren't contributing to the group.
06:20And I gotta say, I'm glad they're gone.
06:22The other side of the coin is we need people to stay because we gotta win this game.
06:26Randy is right.
06:27The team with the most members left at the end of this competition will win.
06:31And divide up the $250,000 prize.
06:34We've lost five people.
06:36So listen.
06:37None of us eliminate tomorrow.
06:39Okay?
06:41But despite Randy's pep talk.
06:43Never being in a game where I can't trust my own teammates.
06:48Lock up.
06:48Don't do it.
06:50The self-eliminations kept coming.
06:54And so did the arguments.
06:56You can't decide what other people are gonna eat.
06:58There's 11 people here.
06:59So one person can get an apple.
07:01Ridiculous.
07:01You have 50 survivalists.
07:03AKA control freaks.
07:05Type A people.
07:06All trying to be in charge.
07:07At least for me.
07:08I'm leaving.
07:10I'm out.
07:10It's only day five.
07:12And with the experts down by nine.
07:13They're going to have to learn to get along to survive this game.
07:17Come eat.
07:18I know you haven't gotten an apple yet.
07:20Red Team's strategy to come together and share resources was helping them survive.
07:24Please only have one.
07:26We're sharing.
07:27We share here.
07:28I'm used to eating six eggs in the morning.
07:31And now I'm just eating an apple.
07:33But for the money.
07:35But not everyone was willing to live on an apple a day.
07:38That's what I think.
07:38Not much food.
07:40Energy's low.
07:41Very low.
07:42I have not been feeling well today.
07:44Got a really bad headache.
07:45I just want a Waffle House buffet.
07:48Why you gotta start talking bro?
07:50I'm thinking about it now.
07:51And the Hunger Casa Red Team their first six eliminations.
07:55Waffle House better be ready dude.
07:57What's the hardest part for all of you?
07:59Food.
08:00And sun.
08:01And a bug.
08:02Basically everything.
08:03What are we working on over here?
08:05I got like the mansion in here.
08:06There's four of us in here.
08:07How's sleep been?
08:08We've gotten progressively better.
08:10But I think that's because our standards have lowered.
08:12How do you think your shelter compares to the professionals?
08:14Oh my god.
08:14100% better.
08:15You're not concerned it might ever rain and water because you're on a decline.
08:19I think I'm delusionally positive.
08:22Should be an easy video for them.
08:23Well I don't know about that Jimmy.
08:25Jimmy!
08:26How do you think your experience compares to the professionals?
08:29I think most of them have gone home already.
08:31If all of them are experts they're all probably butting heads on like what to do.
08:35Because they think their way is the best way.
08:37And she wasn't far off.
08:38We shouldn't be eating today.
08:39This will not last 50 people long.
08:41It's the community choice.
08:43We want to even make it to the end.
08:46We need to really start sticking to something a little more rigorous.
08:48This is not comfort.
08:50This is survival.
08:51And the eliminations kept coming from both teams.
08:54I'll eat enough for all of y'all.
08:57So to stop the eliminations, the next morning the red team chef Brittany tried her hand at cooking breakfast.
09:03Forget it.
09:04Oh no.
09:05Oh.
09:05Yarr.
09:06Sorry guys.
09:07And the food reviews were, well.
09:09Trash.
09:09Not great.
09:10I'm sick to my stomach and I don't want to eat anymore.
09:13I don't want to go.
09:16Exactly girlfriend.
09:19Help.
09:25After days of tension, blue team started the morning by letting loose.
09:29Yay!
09:31But not even a drum circle could stop the infighting.
09:34I understand.
09:36But if we can wipe down the counter before we cook.
09:37Okay.
09:37Hold on one second.
09:38Okay.
09:38biết that I don't have one.
09:38And now we're going down.
