00:05people here when help arrives splits that $250,000. The people wearing blue are a team of survival

00:11experts and the people wearing red are amateurs who might not be cut out for the wilderness.

00:17Blue team grab your bags and follow me. What's the longest you spent in the woods?

00:21Longest three months. Like for fun? Yeah. Oh my gosh. How many of you have been camping before?

00:28How many of you could survive a month out here? Oh my gosh, they're cooked over there.

00:32I knew the blue team would have an advantage. So before we started, I told the red team the challenge

00:36and even brought them to a store to get anything they needed to help them survive.

00:41Okay, show me what you pack. I have rope. I have this tarp here on the floor.

00:44Whoa, did you buy a giant 24 pack of water? Absolutely. I just went ahead and went straight

00:49for the lighter. Smart. Okay. But the blue team was told that they were competing in a Mr. Beast video.

00:54I didn't know what to pack for, so I packed for any climate. I thought you were going to fly

00:58us to Alaska.

00:58For shelters, we're going to be building simple debris shelters. You just have to have a good

01:02layer of insulation. I've been practicing these skills for about a decade, but I'll need a team

01:07of 10 people to start gathering. You guys are going to build. It'll be better for morale.

01:10We ended up with a kid's tent. Luckily, I'm only like five foot five. With all the perks your team

01:15has,

01:16you think you'll beat the blue team? Yeah. Even though they're professionals.

01:20We don't care. We're professionals in our own way. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

01:27I'm just doing what I've seen in the movies. These people do this for fun. How many nights are

01:32you guys staying? All the nights. They can stay here until Christmas until they tell us we have to

01:34leave. Their hobby is suffering in the woods. Good night. And during the first night, it was very clear

01:43that the red team's advantage was making it easier for them. But the experts struggled to keep their

01:48eyes shut as the temperatures dropped drastically. I'm so exhausted. I'm dehydrated and wondering why

01:56I'm here. I physically couldn't sleep. The ground was so cold. Everything was wet.

02:03And the only way out of this challenge is to light your flare and wait to be rescued.

02:07We just had our first person tap out. One down. 49 to go. But that wasn't the only one. Sorry

02:13guys.

02:14I'm 66 years old. I had double knee replacement. I'm so sorry. Shockingly, the first two eliminations

02:20are experts from the blue team. While the red team was using their resources to sleep outside in style.

02:26It's a beautiful morning. The sun is shining. So lucky to be out here. It's nice to just take a

02:32break from

02:33the world sometimes. Meanwhile, the experts knew they needed to fix their shelters fast.

02:38Or they'd quickly lose even more people. These shelters were never meant to be just a pile of

02:43sticks and that's it. You want to pile on leaves about a foot thick. It's going to take some work

02:47from everybody. The leaves, when we start getting rain, it keeps you dry. Oh, all three of you sleep

02:52over there? Oh yeah. Bro, their fort is massive. Do you think this will hold up well in the rain?

02:57It's only

02:57one way to find out. We're going to make our shelter and then that way we're not going to be

03:01sleeping under

03:01the rain. So we're making a roof. We just need to keep the food safe and dry. You built this?

03:06Yeah. We got to take pointers next time we do a survival video. Yeah, I know. You can just give

03:10me a cough. We might need to. And while the experts were using the most of their limited resources,

03:15the amateurs were burning through their advantage quickly. This is all you've done?

03:21Just promise me none of you are going to die. We promise. Okay. As the day turned to night,

03:27the amateurs continued to recklessly waste. I know they're still working hard.

03:31using all their energy because they're not going to last. But the experts' hard work was already

03:36paying off. Look at this. This is better than four seasons. I think we're going to have a much more

03:40comfortable night. We're out in the woods. Slept like a baby. Wow. Just because we built a great

03:50shelter. It was warm. The red team, they probably got tents. They got sleeping bags. We got this.

03:56You know, we're all out here not eating and having a blast. Backflip, bro. While the experts started

04:02their day rested and full of energy, the amateurs started theirs facing the hardest part of survival,

04:10an empty stomach. Do you have any snacks? I win. The red team spent the first two days absolutely

04:16destroying their snacks. And now... We're all so hungry. Hunger is really setting in today.

04:22Guys, we're about to go explore for food and water. Meanwhile... Foraging class starting now.

04:27With the knowledge of wilderness survivalist Seth, blue team was able to turn their forest into a

04:32grocery store. You can always pick it and eat it as a trail nibble. He even built a fish trap

04:37out of

04:37sticks to put into the nearby river. Meanwhile, the amateurs tried out their fishing gear,

04:42water, but only had the skill to catch trash. But by day four, the snack situation was no laughing matter.

04:51Breaker, Breaker, 49. We're out of food. How much food do we have? Do you know? We don't have any

04:54food.

04:54I'm gonna be snacking on this all night. We're gonna go scavenger now. So because party mix lasts for 45

04:59minutes at best. What's this? I also had a plan for that. Meat! Apples! I planted food caches all around

05:06the forest.

05:07Dude, what? With the minimum amount of food to survive, if they manage it right. I bet there's all

05:12kinds of stuff in these woods. We just gotta walk around. I just found a ton of food in the

05:16woods.

05:17Oh, we're eating good tonight. Both teams established community pantries to ration out the food.

05:22So I think we're gonna be all right for a little while, as long as we work together as a

05:26team.

05:26I think that's important that nobody starts like turning on anybody. Dude! But over at the blue team,

05:32Julia had a different plan. I don't want them to have control of it. They're gonna go crazy on the

05:37food,

05:37food, and there's not gonna be anything left for us that are willing to starve for a week,

05:41and the people that aren't willing to. Using the food from the caches, the experts cooked up a large

05:46dinner. We're making dinner? That's insane. And tensions came to a boil. We are doing the best we can.

05:53Not everybody's gonna be happy, but we can't make you happy if you don't communicate with us.

05:58We're up. Goodnight. Where is their shed, Chelsea? Randy's suspicions revealed a new obstacle in this

06:08challenge. No way. Are you for real? Potatoes. Their own teammates. Look at this. This is the stash

06:14we found in their shed when they left. They weren't contributing to the group, and I gotta say,

06:19I'm glad they're gone. The other side of the coin is we need people to stay because we gotta win

06:24this game.

06:24Randy is right. The team with the most members left at the end of this competition will win,

06:29and divide up the $250,000 prize. We've lost five people. So listen, none of us eliminate tomorrow,

06:37okay? But despite Randy's pep talk... Never being in a game where I can't trust my

06:45own teammates. Walk out. Don't do it. The self eliminations kept coming.

06:52And so did the arguments. You can't decide what other people are gonna eat. There's 11 people here,

06:57so one person can get an apple? Ridiculous. You have 50 survivalists, aka control freaks,

07:03type A people, all trying to be in charge. At least for me, I'm leaving. I'm out. It's only day

07:10and with the experts down by nine, they're going to have to learn to get along to survive this game.

07:51their first six eliminations. Waffle House better be ready, dude. What's the hardest part for all of you?

07:58Food. And sun. And a bug. Basically everything. What are we working on over here? I got like the

08:04mansion in here. There's four of us in here. How's sleep in it? We've gotten progressively better,

08:08but I think that's because our standards have lowered. How do you think your shelter compares

08:11to the professionals? Oh my god, 100% better. You're not concerned it might ever rain and water

08:16because you're on a decline. I think I'm delusionally, I'm delusionally positive. Should be an easy video for

08:21them. I don't know about that, Jimmy. Jimmy! How do you think your experience compares to the

08:26professionals? I think most of them have gone home already. If all of them are experts, they're all

08:31probably butting heads on like what to do because they think their way is the best way. And she wasn't

08:35far off. We shouldn't be eating today. This will not last 50 people long. It's the community choice.

08:41Like if we want to even make it to the end, we need to really start sticking to something a

08:46bit more rigorous. This is not comfort. This is survival. And the eliminations kept coming from both teams.

08:53I'll eat enough for all of y'all. So to stop the eliminations, the next morning, the red team chef

08:59Brittany tried her hand at cooking breakfast. Forget it. Oh no. Oh. Sorry guys. And the food reviews were

09:06well... Trash. Not great. I'm sick to my stomach and I don't want to eat anymore. I don't want to

09:23After days of tension, blue team started the morning by letting loose.

09:29But not even a drum circle could stop the infighting. I understand, but if we can wipe down the counter...

09:35Hold on one second. Okay. Let's just, let's just squash this just for a quick second.

09:39No, you should stay and listen. I mean, how about don't tell me what to do. Oh.

09:42I find it really difficult to be a part of a team. I'm like naturally oppositionally defiant.

09:47And once again, it led to even more eliminations. Let them eat apples!

09:53My heart's not in it. And over at the red team... We're out of fruit, so we don't have breakfast

09:59anymore. And the loss of breakfast was too much for two more red team members. No, don't do it,

10:04don't do it, don't do it. No, no, no, no, no. I miss milkshakes. I want a milkshake so bad.

10:11And just like they don't know how many are left on the opposing team, until the end of this video,

10:16you won't either. What we're about to do will fundamentally change the video.

10:23Oh my gosh. What's happening? What do you think? It's Jimmy. Oh, thank God.

10:27When I honk the horn, throw the back. He's going kind of fast. I'm scared. Delivery! Special delivery!

10:34Oh my God! Go, go, go, go! What? Oh gosh! Now let's hook up the professionals.

10:40Oh, I think that's Jimmy's hat. Is that? Yeah. They've got a sack of food. Hey, everybody!

10:51We're about to find out if they can work together as a team, or if this is going to drive

10:55them apart.

10:55What does it say? All right. Both teams have 50 cans of food.

10:59Whichever team gives me back the most unopened cans in 72 hours wins a reward. If both teams are tied,

11:05are tied. Neither wins anything. Neither team wins. I said we eat it all. But here's the deal.

11:14They're going to think that we're going to open the food because we're starving. They think we're

11:17starving. We just bury the thing or something. Yeah, let's bury the whole thing. We got to be

11:21disciplined. No one touches food. No one sneak on this one. Here's the deal. We do not touch it because

11:26we have enough rations to get us through for 72 hours. Can I just have one? No ma'am. So

11:31we're hiding the

11:32cans in the woods so that only a few of us have access to them. I'm really stressed about food

11:36and the fishing situation. I think we just have to be patient. Do I think that some people might leave

11:42after today if they know that we're not going to be able to open up some of those cans? Absolutely.

11:52Sun's coming up. Day eight. It's a nice overcast day. I'll show you. Finally a break from the sun. So

11:59we

12:00found this old charcoal grill in the woods. Which for now kept spirits pretty high. It's remarkable

12:05what a little food and a change in the weather will do to willpower. But unfortunately the blue

12:10team wasn't doing as well. Poison ivy is kind of spreading. Man, the hunger is real. Day eight

12:16and there's nothing in the traps yet. I'm so hungry I'm about to eat my toothpaste. How one of those

12:19canned

12:20goods tastes right by now. I'm not gonna lie. I would dig into a can of beef. The fact that

12:24we have

12:2550 canned goods up there. With beef, peas, corn. It blows my mind. Down I look at crawfish. Look to

12:32my left.

12:33Seen this. What I thought was a stick. But it started moving inside of my eye. And I turned around.

12:37And I was like... Hey! Snake!

12:39Oh!

12:41But by the end of the day the wind for both teams began to shift.

12:46So change of the day. There's like a massive storm coming. It's possible it's a tornado. We gotta go guys.

12:53I'll get to my shelter. We're about to get down. It's definitely about to storm. It's looking scary.

12:59It's literally dropped like 15 degrees in like 10 minutes. A random wind picked up. Our whole shelter

13:04feels like it's gonna fall apart. I have no rain. Is that thunder?

13:11It's the rain. The rain has finally come. Everyone is heading towards their shelter.

13:14That storm is blowing in hard. So that means it's nap time. If I had to guess, I think this

13:19rain is

13:20going to be a breaking point for a lot of people. Currently storming pretty bad. We're huddled up

13:24in the shelter. There's no way the red team's handling this as well as we are. This just made the

13:29challenge

13:30a lot more interesting. How to evacuate the plane. I will tempt you down. Like, what is happening?

13:36Debating going to the plane, but I think most everyone else is in there. I can't pull out.

13:41I just want to go out there. Now hopefully 250 grand is enough for them to push through.

13:46This sucks. I'm really losing it. I just keep going back to it when things get hard. I'm like,

13:51I'm literally in the Mr. Beast video completing for a lot of money. You need to be here for that.

13:56Alright. I don't hear rain anymore. The temperature dropped like crazy. It got cold. I'm gonna climb out,

14:03see how everybody's doing. So last night was the coldest night we've been out here. Uh,

14:08as you can see from the frost and the leaves, the muddy box, the trees. Uh, it was freezing.

14:13Freezing last night. Get me up out of here. Did you ever think you'd see an airplane chair frozen

14:18outside? That's crazy, right? I'm miserable. I'm starving. I don't think I can do another night like

14:23that. But the good news is we're really cold. That means the road team is also really cold. It's like

14:35The rain made this challenge excruciatingly more difficult. I'm free. Causing six people from the red team.
