00:00A family of eight checked into a hotel to be close to their ailing father who was admitted
00:05in a hospital.
00:06Now, while the ailing father lives, his entire family is dead.
00:09All eight members of the Agarwal family from Gurugram lost their lives in the devastating
00:14blaze that ripped through Malvianagar's flourished stay BNB area.
00:18They were chartered accountant Vivek Agarwal, his wife Tarjani, their two young daughters
00:22Jivisha and Varya, Vivek's mother and three other relatives.
00:26The family had travelled to Delhi to be close to Vivek's father, Radhisham Agarwal, who
00:31was undergoing treatment at Mack's Hospital in Saaket.
00:34To stay near him, they checked into a guest house just a short distance from the hospital.
00:38But what began as a visit to support an ailing father turned into an unimaginable tragedy.
00:44On June 3, a fire broke out in the building and quickly spread through the five-storey
00:48structure, trapping many guests inside.
00:51By the time the flames were brought under control, three generations of the Agarwal family were
00:55gone.
00:56Three relatives from Tarjani Agarwal's maternal site who had also come to visit Radhisham were
01:01among the dead.
01:02Perhaps the cruelest twist of all is that Radhisham Agarwal, still admitted to the hospital
01:07for treatment, may not yet fully know that he has lost his wife, son, daughter-in-law,
01:13two granddaughters and three relatives in a single tragedy.
01:17The Malvianagar fire has claimed at least 21 lives.
01:20But behind numbers are families like the Agarwal's, stories of love, loss and lives forever
01:25changed.
01:27Urm, you have an loss and lost.
01:28Long.
01:29Big奇ical stress.
