00:00There are no bad seats on La Compagnie, the boutique French airline founded in 2013.
00:05That's because every seat is business class.
00:07After checking out the amenity kit, I went with a no ABV drink
00:11and ordered a glass of fresh orange juice as I looked over the dinner menu.
00:15Here's what's being served tonight.
00:16Lentil soup with roasted shallot shavings as a starter.
00:20I had the beef tenderloin with barley and pears, enough for a round-trip flight.
00:24And I paired the beef with a Luisa Doe white burgundy because I don't believe in old wine rules.
00:30When was the last time you saw white burgundy on a flight's wine list?
00:33And here's an old-school detail.
00:35The cloth napkins come with a buttonhole so you can attach it to your shirt.
00:39This being a French airline, there's also a cheese course.
00:42It's a selection of gruyere and goat cheeses with cranberries.
00:45And dessert was a delight, a passion fruit and mango tart with a chocolate canel.
00:49For petit dejeuner, I had a ham and cheese frittata served with stewed tomatoes and a small side salad.
00:55I also enjoyed a selection of fresh fruit with a buttery croissant that I buttered anyway.
01:00I left my company feeling refreshed with a full belly.
01:03A bientôt!
