01:10for the royals so that was nice to see i was looking at the highlights uh last night and
01:16it was just nice to see some clutch performances from the royals because that's that's kind of been
01:22the issue this year it's not as if the royals have not been in a lot of games the the
01:27win-loss
01:28record sometimes kind of deceiving when you look at just some of the close losses and unclutch
01:33performances but in the clutch last night in cincy paul well i think you're probably right
01:39for a brief moment i tuned over to check out the score and the royals were up so i thought
01:46why spoil a good attitude with what's going on there i never looked back once i went i went
01:53in my mind in my mind i says well i've got them in good shape right now i'm going to

01:59where they are they can get through this without me so i was i just went straight to nba basketball
02:03because you know we're going to run out of nba here before too long and with particularly with
02:08a matchup i like and i'm well when i say i like i'm enjoying it i mean it's not that

02:14anything about these two teams that just jumps out and grabs me but i like the matchup i like the

08:57have really struggled uh this season so far paul i don't know if you've looked at this but i was
09:03mentioning this to jacob yesterday and i was looking at the road records uh for all the teams
09:10and where the royals stack up uh royals even with the win last night the royals are still the only
09:16team
09:16in major league baseball with under 10 wins on the road uh they improved with their win last night to
09:229 and 21 uh on the road the let's see the next worst road record would be uh the tigers
09:30actually
09:30at 11 and 12 or excuse me 11 24 and uh 10 and 18 for the orioles but uh the
09:38road has been a
09:39situation a struggle for kc but they do get that win a series win and it was uh daniel lynch

09:46the win starter steven kolik uh came in for kolik in the eighth not allow a run for alex lane's

09:53a scoreless night for his first save so it's nice to see a save when we uh saw what happened

09:58a couple nights ago uh blowing a save he actually leads the majors in blown saves at six so some
10:04clutch
10:05performances uh benny with uh some hits uh let's see kags also had uh two hits and of course massey
10:11was the
10:12hero uh they're late so see what happens with the royals let's see looking at the schedule and when
10:18they're coming back and they take care of business against cincinnati so now let's see looking at the
10:25schedule they are going to be back on the road uh they'll be taking on the twins tonight actually
10:31first pitch at 6 40 uh at minnesota for a four game series uh on the road uh against the
10:40twins so
10:40royals doing some things to uh well i i guess keep you keep you watching right right now it's kind
10:47of been a little bit of a yo-yo every once in a while where it's like i remember that

10:52they get that win when it seemed like the uh ship had been uh back on course there a little

10:57it's it's been up and down mostly down but yeah we'll take a win when we can we can get

11:29what becomes frustrating is because you know the obviously good teams win win a percentage on the road
11:37and you know everything that we talk about just sometimes it feels like hope is is not there
11:44it's it just it makes it wears you down a little bit if you know what i mean and i

11:51it can get frustrating when you're the team in the major leagues that lost more road games than anybody
11:57else i mean you know i take my hat off to anybody who plunks herself down in their in their
12:04recliner
12:05and watches nine innings of royals i just my hat is off to you and i'm really happy for you
12:11sometimes it becomes hard for me to do yeah that that's true especially when it's been going like
12:16it's been going it makes it a lot tougher but a series win and uh some good plays some good

12:23that keep clutch times and some good clutch pitching as well so they can just keep doing that
