00:22Indonesia's stock market has come under pressure,
00:25falling nearly 4% and losing around one-third of its value so far this year.
00:30Last month, Bank Indonesia raised its benchmark interest rate by half a percentage point to 5.25%,
00:36its first rate hike in two years.
00:39The central bank has also tightened rules on US dollar purchases,
00:43but has so far been unable to stem the currency's decline.
00:47Meanwhile, lawmakers approved legislation expanding its mandate to include economic growth.
00:52The changes also give parliament a greater role in reviewing the central bank's performance.
