00:01Science fiction has been with me as long as I've been on this planet and I've
00:06made a lot of movies about things that cannot be explained from sharks to
00:09saucers every time I get a script from Steven I know we are in good hands my
00:17first reaction was that we're back into making classical Steven Spielberg movie
00:21and that involves action very large scope they're emotional whatever happens
00:28don't you let go Steven and Janusz together they are just so extraordinary
00:33and their secret language is ever-present that was such a pleasure
00:38witnessing that pairing it's really cool the train sequence was one of the more
00:43challenging scenes in the movie it involved extensive visual effects
00:46extensive physical effects practical photography so all those elements had to
00:51be put together and create a cohesive sense of reality
00:56the thing was sharing 35 millimeter motion Steven is very encouraging for me
01:01to not be afraid to go less conventional and certainly in this movie we did go
01:06less conventional there's a beautiful poetic scene that deals with the main
01:13characters being able to go back to their childhood just one of the most
01:17beautiful sequences we've shot and I've got the chance to play with nightlight
01:23it was complex creating the archive that was going to eventually possibly be
01:29released to the world all at the same time we're interrupting our coverage there
01:34has been a threat to publicly release government material long shrouded in
01:38secrecy that gave me opportunity to play with different formats and different
01:42looks to create this sense of reality everything had to be authentic to the
01:47technology we had in the forties fifties sixties seventies and on through to
01:52today so it never stopped evolving until finally I had to say okay that's it
01:59that's the movie and out cut and cut that was great this is Disclosure Day
