00:05What have you seen so far from Michael Bennett?
00:09Man, I think one thing I like about Mikey, he's eager to learn.
00:11He's very smart.
00:12You can tell where he came from a program where he talks to me all the time
00:15where he's kind of making a cause.
00:17But I told him, now you got a center who really locks in all the cause and stuff.
00:20You got guys.
00:21Like, when you come to Oregon, you play football.
00:23Offense line specifically over here at the University of Oregon.
00:26You're going to learn.
00:26Like, we're going to try to know everything so you're not there by yourself
00:30trying to figure it out.
00:30So I know he's appreciative of that.
00:32But he's very smart and very physical in the run game.
00:34I'm very excited to see how he gets down in the run game.
00:39Dan called the offensive line a brotherhood.
00:42You've mentioned that multiple times when you're here.
00:44New guys in the lineup, new players to the program.
00:47How does that process start of developing the chemistry,
00:50developing the cohesiveness for spring football so you guys are ready in the fall?
00:54How do you do that right now?
00:55I mean, it really starts back in the winter.
00:57You know, like, from the moment they step on campus
00:59and just trying to get to know them really on a personal level
01:02and just doing things not only just on the field but off the field.
01:05We like to do things called, like, get real,
01:07where we come get together with guys that are normally in your position group
01:13and we just meet each other.
01:14And then we go on from there and then we do things outside of.
01:17Like, we go meet at Coach Lanning's house.
01:18We have dinner.
01:19Or we're going to meet up at, like, putters.
01:20We're going to play putters, bowling, all those type of things
01:23that doesn't really involve the game of football
01:25but just really just being in each other's company
01:27and fellowshipping is probably the biggest thing.
