00:00And I guess based on, you know, just that first day, you know, we spoke with one of your colleagues
00:06earlier, Mike Reese, who said, yeah, there's like a tangible difference when a player like A.J. Brown comes onto
00:12the field, even for OTAs, just having him there and the, you know, the presence of having, you know, like
00:19a true number one guy in the receiving core.
00:23Did you feel any of that tangible presence there yesterday? Do you think that this is, you know, something that,
00:29you know, can have an effect on the team even before they're playing meaningful football?
00:35Yeah, absolutely. I think this will impact the Patriots. I also say this as someone who spent a lot of
00:39time around the Eagles in recent years.
00:41And as much as you can say about A.J. Brown and Jalen Hurts and the interpersonal dynamic, A.J.
00:46was really well respected in that locker room.
00:48And whereas in some locker rooms, the quarterback is the vocal leader, Jalen Hurts, that's not really his style.
00:54And so A.J. was often the vocal leader, the spokesperson for the entire team, and that's his role.
01:00I think the Patriots saw in Stephon Diggs that having a veteran with a lot of fire can be really
01:05influential.
01:05I would actually argue that in some ways, A.J.'s competitive sphere is probably even more what you're looking for.
01:10And it was funny, they actually asked A.J. to lead one of the stretches at practice yesterday because of
01:16the respect the team has for him,
01:18to which A.J. said, nope, let me earn your respect first. I don't just want to walk in and
01:22demand it.
