00:30KORI BARLOCK
01:00Excited to be here.
01:01Excited to be here.
01:02That's a good answer.
01:05When did you start working at Santa Monica?
01:07When was it?
01:08I started working at Santa Monica in August of 2003.
01:13And I was right out of film school.
01:15I got hired to cut trailers and videos.
01:19And I cut the tgis trailer for The First God Of War.
01:23And then I wanted to do more than wait tables.
01:27So I asked if there was anything else I could do around here.
01:29and I ended up working in production.
01:31And I worked on God of War I, II, III, Ascension.
01:37And I was two years on 2018
01:39before I took my little walkabout in the world.
01:43And then I couldn't get enough of this place.
01:46I came back, came back home.
01:48That's quite an amazing journey.
01:50You have deep, deep, deep roots with the God of War world.
01:53Cutting the trailer for TGS,
01:55that was like the first sort of thing
01:58that I worked on, I think, when I got here as well.
02:00That was back in the day when Kratos had Blue Tattoo.
02:04We're still calling him Dominus.
02:06It's still calling him Dominus.
02:08Yeah, and the team was only like,
02:09well, 30, 35 people maybe?
02:12Small, compared to now.
02:14It's weird to think about making games
02:18with that small of a group of people.
02:20When we were like, 65 people, that's so much.
02:22And then we got to 100, that's so much.
02:24Yeah.
02:25What are the most memorable aspects
02:27of working on God of War, the whole franchise?
02:31The whole franchise?
02:31I mean, I think each game definitely,
02:34I think, left its mark or scars, Battle Scars.
02:38But, you know, it's like the studios,
02:41just the commitment to quality.
02:42And the late nights with each other
02:45trying to figure out some problem
02:47or make some magic happen in the middle of the night
02:49or coming back in and somebody took a smoke break
02:52and, I don't know, maybe changed the boss
02:53of God of War 2.
02:54I think that might have been you.
02:56I feel like that's a dig at me.
02:57I feel like I'm going to own that one
02:59because that's entirely true.
03:01Yeah, no, I mean, every game
03:02was like a new set of challenges.
03:04Like, how do you make Titans?
03:05How do you make the trailer
03:06for the Titans come through?
03:08Oh, yes.
03:09How do you make multiplayer?
03:10How do you reinvent Kratos?
03:12Where does he go?
03:12So, like, so, it's always an exciting story.
03:17Why did you want to come back to the studio?
03:19What made you decide,
03:21this is where I need to be?
03:23The short and probably semi-uncomfortable answer
03:26for this interview is I came back for you.
03:29Definitely that bar of excellence
03:32has been in my head for a long time.
03:34Your creative voice has weighed down
03:37on some projects of mine.
03:38And, I don't know, I just missed
03:40the team's commitment,
03:42just the, you know, the people here.
03:44I came back for the people.
03:46I came back for the people?
03:47I came back for the people.
03:48I like that.
03:48That's better than coming back for me
03:49because the voices in my head
03:50are not ones to follow.
03:52That's your voice in my head,
03:53not your voices in my head.
03:55That's different.
03:56If you had my voices in your head,
03:57that's not even,
03:58that's a whole other series of videos,
04:00I imagine.
04:03So, when you found out,
04:06coming here,
04:06that you were going to work on a Fae game,
04:09what was your thoughts?
04:10I was excited.
04:11I was a little shocked,
04:13surprised, I think,
04:15that we were going to do something different.
04:17I think when I was coming back
04:18and talking to folks,
04:20I had just assumed
04:21it would be another Kratos game,
04:23and that's who I would be telling stories about
04:25for the rest of my life.
04:26And I was okay with that.
04:27But I think finding out about Fae
04:31and just, you know,
04:33seeing somebody whose journey
04:35that we could really explore
04:36and turn new pages on
04:38was exciting.
04:39You know, looking at the world
04:41in a different lens
04:42was exciting.
04:43So, it was, you know,
04:45just saying yes to that opportunity,
04:46I think, was really cool.
04:48It's a good outlook.
04:48Just say yes to that opportunity.
04:51That's what has gotten me
04:52into a lot of trouble
04:52over the years.
04:54That's true.
04:56Present position included.
04:58Yeah, I always try to talk people
04:59out of directing these days.
05:01You did try to talk me out
05:01of doing this.
05:02But I try to be upfront
05:03and straightforward about it
05:04just so that people don't feel like,
05:05you tricked me.
05:06No, you were very honest
05:08about the work that it entailed
05:09for doing this.
05:11Yes.
05:11Yes.
05:12And, you know, it's exciting.
05:13Fae is, while it's a different thing,
05:15it's still part of the larger tapestry
05:17of what we're doing.
05:17We really want to explore
05:18all these different characters in there.
05:20But there's always going to be
05:21Kratos games.
05:22Oh, for sure.
05:22Yeah, we can't not tell stories
05:24about the big guy.
05:27Let's go into directing.
05:28What are you most excited about
05:31in stepping into the role
05:33as a game director?
05:35It's like a fine line
05:37between excitement
05:38and being terrified.
05:40I think I'm on the edge
05:41of excitement most of the time.
05:43But I think being able
05:45to be curious about everything
05:47on the game.
05:48Previously, I had done a lot of work
05:50in story and cinematics
05:51and in different pipelines
05:53for the game.
05:54But this really got me able
05:56to be nosy and ask questions
05:58and really get people
06:00to look at things differently
06:01from a lot of different perspectives.
06:04and to just, you know,
06:06have an opportunity
06:07to kind of find myself
06:09in Fae's story
06:11was exciting.
06:13But yeah, then I think
06:14just, you know,
06:16captaining this ship
06:17with all of these humans
06:18making this game together
06:19is a lot,
06:21but it's very exciting.
06:23I want to go back
06:24to something you said,
06:25finding yourself.
06:27Talk about what part of you
06:28you're putting into the game.
06:29I mean, I think, you know,
06:32we've always come at stories
06:34from Santa Monica
06:34with, you know,
06:36characters at their heart, right?
06:37And finding ourselves,
06:39you know, even in Kratos,
06:40you know, everybody's had
06:41a point in their time
06:43when they've made some decisions
06:45that maybe they wish
06:46they hadn't
06:46and really thought
06:47things through again.
06:49But I think for Fae,
06:50that was the question of,
06:51you know, who is she?
06:52You know, who was this person
06:53that everybody idolized
06:55and, you know,
06:56just stood in awe of?
06:58And to really think about
07:00all the facets
07:01that make up that person, right?
07:03She's, you know,
07:04a loving wife and mother,
07:06but she's also a warrior.
07:08She's a guardian of her people.
07:10She's a rebellion leader.
07:12She's all of these things.
07:13And to be able
07:15to have an opportunity
07:16to just explore that person
07:19with the detail
07:21and the love
07:21that Santa Monica brings
07:23is just, you know,
07:25very touching,
07:26very exciting.
07:26What's the hardest part
07:28for you
07:29stepping into the role
07:30as a director?
07:31Is there any sort of
07:32individual parts
07:33where it's like
07:34that you feel great
07:35about overcoming?
07:36I think that's probably
07:37the more specific question
07:38is there's hard parts
07:39but we always sort of
07:40push through
07:40when we get to that other side.
07:41What's any hard parts
07:43that you can think of?
07:44I mean, I think
07:44the hard parts are,
07:46there are definitely
07:46some places
07:47where I feel,
07:48you know, comfortable.
07:49You know, like I,
07:50you know, story
07:51is a comforting place for me.
07:52But there are some places
07:53that are new
07:55in a way
07:56that having to be
07:57familiar with that depth.
07:58You know, there's
07:59engineering things
08:00and design issues
08:01and all sorts of things
08:03and everybody has a question
08:04and they all need
08:05their answers immediately.
08:07And trying to kind of
08:07keep the potluck
08:10that we have going
08:11and becoming
08:11still digestible
08:13at the end of the meal,
08:14like that's been
08:14very difficult sometimes
08:16of just trying
08:17to get everything
08:17they need
08:18to be as creative
08:19as possible
08:19and then keep a handle
08:22on making sure
08:23that it still tells
08:24a singular story of Faye.
08:27I think that's,
08:28that's been,
08:30it's been a learning
08:31and growing experience
08:32as time has gone on.
08:33And there's always
08:34voices from the top
08:35and there's always
08:36voices from the bottom.
08:37Everybody has an opinion,
08:38which is one of the things
08:38I love about Santa Monica.
08:40And it's trying to figure out
08:41how to temper those
08:42to make sure
08:43that we're being truthful
08:45to who Faye is
08:46and what her journey is
08:47on that.
08:48So you kind of dove
08:49into aspects of design
08:51and engineering
08:52and got more educated
08:54on that.
08:54Yeah, I think that's,
08:56that's the fun part.
08:58I mean, that's the wonderful
08:58part about making games
08:59is that it's not just
09:00one person,
09:01it's hundreds of people
09:03now to make it together.
09:05And, you know,
09:06that's,
09:08there are places
09:09and things that I,
09:10every day is different.
09:11You know, every day
09:12is, you know,
09:1380 different meetings
09:14about different topics
09:15and, you know,
09:16play testers
09:18and build times
09:19and, you know,
09:21design questions
09:22and art questions
09:24and narrative questions
09:25and, you know,
09:26working with actors
09:27and it's,
09:28it's exciting.
09:29So, I don't know,
09:30it keeps me busy.
09:31Never a dull moment.
09:33Exciting,
09:34overwhelming,
09:35but fantastic.
09:35And you are doing
09:36an amazing job at it.
09:38I appreciate it.
09:39Falling into the crazy fray
09:40quite, quite well.
09:43So, for the folks at home
09:44who haven't seen
09:46the, the announce
09:48that we've done,
09:49why don't you do
09:49a little recap.
09:51Tell us what that's all about.
09:52Well, the game reveal
09:54that we just showed,
09:55hopefully everybody's
09:56gotten a chance to see it.
09:57If not, maybe
09:58they'll take a chance
09:59right now.
09:59But, we start with
10:01Faye's dead.
10:02We wanted to start
10:03exactly,
10:04sorry,
10:04we wanted to start
10:05exactly where the players
10:07were,
10:07which is,
10:09you know,
10:09in God of War 2018,
10:11you know,
10:11her death was the impetus
10:12for Kratos and Atreus'
10:14journey together
10:15and their growth together
10:16and going on to Ragnarok.
10:18We debated whether or not
10:19to tell a story
10:21before that.
10:22And what we really
10:23wanted to do
10:24was just pick up
10:24exactly where the player
10:26was,
10:26which is Faye's dead.
10:28And she finds herself
10:29in the afterlife
10:30of the gods.
10:31And there,
10:32she discovers some things
10:34that make her
10:36question whether or not
10:37Kratos and Atreus
10:38are safe.
10:39And she's determined
10:40to find a way back
10:41to help them.
10:43What do you want
10:43the audience to feel?
10:47I'd like the audience
10:48to watch the game reveal
10:50and be like,
10:51this is amazing,
10:52I can't wait to play this.
10:53I can't wait to be
10:55in Faye's boots
10:56kicking ass.
10:58That's what I want
10:58the players to feel.
11:00I want them to be curious
11:01about the world
11:02and the opportunity
11:03that it has
11:04in magic
11:04and the gods
11:05that we're going to meet
11:06with all these mythologies
11:08coming together
11:08in the afterlife.
11:10I want them to be excited
11:11and swept away
11:13by the world
11:13and Faye's story
11:15and where she's going to go.
11:16But this is gameplay
11:18and this reveal.
11:19And this is showing
11:20that this is not a prequel.
11:21This is a continuation
11:22of the timeline
11:24right at the beginning
11:25of God of War 2018.
11:27What happened to Faye
11:29after that funeral?
11:30Exactly.
11:31And we were really intent
11:32on it being gameplay.
11:35We wanted the first
11:37taste for players
11:38to really center
11:39on what it's like
11:41to play this game
11:42and who this person is
11:43and really show you
11:44what you're going to get
11:45when you pick
11:47the controllers up.
11:48Speaking of who
11:49this person is,
11:51Faye,
11:52what is the most
11:53interesting aspect of her?
11:55Why is Faye
11:56such a compelling character?
11:57I know why.
11:58I have my own answer.
12:00But I'd love to hear
12:01your answer
12:01on why she's so compelling.
12:02I find great connection
12:04with Faye's curiosity
12:06about the world,
12:07you know,
12:08her loyalty
12:08to her friends and family,
12:11you know,
12:11just the fact that
12:12she goes into situations
12:14that she's kind of
12:15unprepared for
12:16and kicks ass anyway.
12:17And I think that,
12:19you know,
12:20she's a little bit
12:20more improvisational
12:21than maybe Kratos might be.
12:23And she's not afraid
12:24to kind of be honest
12:27and show her kind of
12:30true self
12:30and emotions
12:31on things.
12:32And I think,
12:33you know,
12:34for Kratos,
12:35we love him dearly,
12:36but I think sometimes
12:37he's a little closed off
12:38and he's learning
12:39to open up a little bit more.
12:40So I think with Faye...
12:41He's working on it.
12:41He's a work in progress.
12:42Yeah, he's working on it.
12:42But I think with Faye,
12:43we got to be
12:45let in a little bit more.
12:48Where is this
12:48all taking place?
12:50Like,
12:50we're talking about
12:51that Faye,
12:52she died.
12:53She died at the end,
12:55beginning of 2018,
12:56and now we're kind of
12:57moving into this game
12:59and going on the journey.
13:01Where is this?
13:02So Faye finds herself
13:05in the afterlife
13:06of the gods.
13:07So this is the birthplace
13:08and the ending point
13:10to which all magic returns.
13:12All magic.
13:13And so the amazing thing
13:15about that is twofold, right?
13:16We get all sorts of magic,
13:18a highly heightened
13:19magical world
13:20to play in.
13:21But we also get
13:22the return
13:23and the discovery
13:24of a lot of different mythologies
13:26coming together
13:27and what happens
13:28when those mythologies
13:30kind of meet up.
13:31And being able
13:32to kind of encompass
13:34and throw our arms
13:37around different mythologies
13:38has been very exciting.
13:40Just getting to know
13:41different people
13:41and different people's stories.
13:43So the afterlife
13:45of the gods
13:45is kind of
13:46this transcendent place
13:47above kind of
13:49the mortal world
13:50and the afterlife
13:51of humans
13:51and then the sort of
13:52underworld of humans.
13:54It exists sort of
13:55above all of that.
13:57Yeah, I mean,
13:57I think in Ragnarok,
13:58Odin really was kind of
14:00taken by that question.
14:02You know,
14:02what happens to us
14:03when we die?
14:04We know what happens
14:05to the mortals
14:05when they die,
14:06but what happens to us?
14:07And so this is an answer
14:09for that question.
14:10What happens to gods
14:11when they die?
14:12And, you know,
14:13it also,
14:14it's not,
14:15things aren't working
14:16quite exactly the way
14:17that they should be
14:18in this afterlife
14:19of the gods
14:20and magic isn't
14:22flowing exactly
14:23the way that it should be.
14:25So this afterlife's
14:26not exactly a paradise.
14:28It's a little bit
14:29more of a prison.
14:30It's gone a little bit
14:31cattywampus.
14:32A little bit.
14:33And the folks
14:34who are in charge there,
14:35who you'll meet
14:37in the reveal video,
14:40Sekhmet and Baxi,
14:42they've taken over things.
14:43And as two respective
14:44gods of war,
14:45they have a certain way
14:47of doing things.
14:47it's a little bit
14:48more violent.
14:49So this place is,
14:51you know,
14:51it's beautiful,
14:52it's magical,
14:53but it's very dangerous.
14:54From a gameplay perspective,
14:56how is this a god of war game?
14:58What makes it sort of fit
14:59in the pantheon
15:00of god of war gameplay?
15:02Well,
15:03we don't shy away
15:03from violence,
15:04that's for sure.
15:05So definitely
15:06true to our kind
15:07of brutal roots.
15:08But I think more than that,
15:09you know,
15:10we're focused on Faye
15:11and telling her story
15:12and just really
15:14exploring the world
15:15through her eyes,
15:17you know,
15:17that journey
15:17of her character
15:19and how she comes
15:20across this world.
15:22So I think that
15:23at the heart of it
15:24really just makes us
15:25a god of war game
15:26and a Santa Monica game.
15:27But, you know,
15:28Faye affords us
15:29a few more opportunities
15:30than maybe Kratos might.
15:32Faye is a little bit
15:33more agile in the world
15:34than Kratos is.
15:35And she has
15:35a healthier relationship,
15:37I think,
15:37than with magic.
15:39She isn't quite the past
15:40that Kratos has.
15:41She's more of the
15:42embracer of magic
15:43whereas Kratos is
15:44the skeptical user
15:45of magic.
15:46Yeah.
15:46So definitely
15:47being in a world
15:48so filled with magic,
15:50you know,
15:51we can really lean
15:51into that with Faye.
15:53And, you know,
15:54we want to stay true
15:55to the hallmarks
15:56of a god of war game,
15:57you know,
15:58just that close,
16:01you know,
16:01combat,
16:02that agility,
16:04the exploration
16:05of our world,
16:06you know,
16:06story at our heart.
16:08These are all things
16:08pick up and play
16:10that sort of
16:11brutal kind of
16:12intimate gameplay
16:14that would have been
16:15sort of refined
16:16through each of the
16:17iterations,
16:18taking it one step further
16:19and taking it one step further.
16:20What are some things
16:21that are kind of added
16:22to make it unique?
16:23Well, I think one of the
16:24first things that excited
16:25the team was that
16:26we brought Jump back
16:26into the game.
16:27Kratos hasn't jumped
16:28for a little while.
16:29So I think that
16:31we looked through
16:32all of our God of War games
16:33from the Greek era,
16:35the Norse era,
16:35and really,
16:36we got to kind of
16:37pick up each element
16:39and think about
16:40does this help us
16:41tell Laofei's story?
16:43You know,
16:43she is always thinking
16:45on her feet
16:45and, you know,
16:47throwing herself
16:47into like kind of
16:48the next battle
16:49and really trying to
16:51like work her way
16:52through the world.
16:53And so leaning into that,
16:54we were able to borrow
16:56some of those elements
16:57from the Greek era,
16:58just, you know,
16:59the movement,
17:01the fluidity in there,
17:03but then also couple that
17:04with the Norse era,
17:05you know,
17:05like the way
17:06that we approach
17:06the world,
17:07you know,
17:08our close ties
17:09with character,
17:10you know,
17:10Fae's relationship
17:11with her companions,
17:12like all of these things
17:14kind of led us
17:15to this new version
17:16that is uniquely Fae.
17:19God of War,
17:20Laofei.
17:21Laofei is played
17:22by the amazing
17:23and absolutely wonderful
17:26Deborah Ann Wall.
17:28Stunningly talented.
17:29Stunningly talented.
17:30She worded it
17:30so much better
17:31than I did.
17:32Talk to me
17:33about working with her.
17:34She's amazing.
17:35Hands down.
17:36She just comes to the set
17:38with so much energy
17:39and it's amazing
17:41to just be in this
17:43imagination world
17:44with her.
17:44And she is Fae
17:46and Fae is her.
17:48She's also, like,
17:50amazing in the VO booth.
17:52Just one of, like,
17:53the best actors
17:54I've worked with
17:55in the booth
17:56and just brings
17:57everything to it.
17:59Yeah,
17:59leaves no stone unturned.
18:01Consummate professional.
18:02Consummate professional.
18:03She's just a lot of fun
18:03to be with, too.
18:05She is a joy.
18:07And what about
18:08the illustrious
18:10Jack Quaid?
18:11Everybody in
18:12Laofei is fantastic.
18:13Jack is very excited,
18:15which is amazing.
18:17And Perlina,
18:18our Rue character,
18:20is also...
18:20Perlina is delightful.
18:21...also amazing.
18:23Who's your favorite?
18:25I can't pick favorites.
18:25We're putting it on you,
18:26you gotta pick a favorite.
18:27I can't pick favorites
18:28on camera.
18:28Look, there's three cameras here.
18:29You have to pick favorites.
18:29I still have to finish this game.
18:31I can't pick favorites.
18:32Yeah, yeah.
18:32We won't show it
18:33until after
18:34you finish the game.
18:35I've heard that one before.
18:35Yeah, but you gotta pick a favorite.
18:36If you had to pick a favorite,
18:38gun to your head...
18:38Or you're my favorite.
18:39That's the correct answer.
18:41Thank you.
18:41You've been watching Dev Talk
18:42and I am her favorite.
18:44That's right.
18:45Yeah, I don't know who I would pick.
18:46I don't know.
19:03Really, you did us a solid
19:05however many years ago
19:06getting Debra as Faye.
19:08But she is wonderful.
19:09I am a huge, huge, huge fan
19:11of all of the work that she does.
19:13And the work that she's done in this
19:17is second to none.
19:18Just truly amazing.
19:20But you've been asking
19:21a lot of questions, Corey.
19:22Why did you want to make a Faye game?
19:24Because when I came back to the studio,
19:27the Faye game was already in process.
19:28So what about Faye did you want to do?
19:32What about Faye was interesting for you
19:35in terms of telling her story?
19:37I think Faye is one of my...
19:41She's in my top three favorite characters
19:43of the entire franchise.
19:46And she is just such an interesting character
19:50with how much she was an orchestrator
19:54of Kratos and Trey's journey.
19:57For me, a warrior has sort of touched
19:59such interesting parts
20:01of the past history of God of War.
20:05Moving to a Faye game
20:06and kind of seeing it move forward
20:08rather than saying like,
20:09hey, let's do a Faye game,
20:10which we did explore.
20:11At the beginning, we were like,
20:12let's do the time before
20:13so we can really see
20:14all these cool moments
20:15like when she was making the axe
20:17with Brock and Sindri
20:18and all the drama
20:20that happened with that.
20:21But ultimately,
20:23the most interesting part
20:24was really to tackle like,
20:26hey, what happened when she died?
20:27And what continued on
20:29and started to create
20:30this new layer
20:33that exists above?
20:34And throughout Ragnarok,
20:36Odin was talking about
20:37what you had mentioned before.
20:39What happens to us when we die?
20:41The other gods,
20:42I think secretly think that a little bit,
20:45but his OCD
20:46like really took over
20:48and he was hyper-fixated and focused
20:50and rightfully so
20:50because there is
20:52this sort of transcendent place
20:54beyond for the gods
20:55that is very interesting
20:57for us to start exploring
20:58and seeing how all these mythologies
21:00mash together
21:00and then that sort of guide
21:03being Faye
21:04and seeing that difference
21:06of like, look,
21:07Faye was a warrior
21:08of equal sort of excellence
21:12but also damage, right?
21:15When her and Kratos met,
21:16they were both pretty messed up.
21:18Yeah, she did not have
21:20a good exit from her people.
21:23Things went south.
21:24It's so funny that you say
21:26that she's a planner
21:28because I feel like
21:29we have taken somebody
21:30who has spent their whole life
21:32trying to orchestrate things
21:34into a perfect space
21:35and then we've put them
21:37in some place
21:38where they have to think
21:39on their feet all the time.
21:40And I think that is...
21:43Starting to sound
21:43a little bit like you?
21:44Maybe.
21:45A planner who is put
21:47into a place
21:47where she has to now
21:49improvise quite a lot.
21:51There's a lot of you
21:51inside of this game.
21:53Yes.
21:54And for me,
21:54it's really exciting
21:55because, again,
21:56the franchise,
21:56Kratos is sort of the tree.
21:58It's the trunk of our tree.
21:59And he sort of drives
22:00the franchise forward
22:01and we want to follow him
22:02but there are so many
22:03interesting characters
22:03that we created along the way.
22:05and for me,
22:06Faye and Sindri
22:10are to me
22:10the two most interesting characters.
22:12And I love all the other characters.
22:14So all the other characters
22:14are amazing
22:15and it's not that
22:16I don't love them.
22:17It's just that they have
22:18very interesting,
22:20un-sort of examined lives
22:25that I really want
22:25to go deeper into.
22:27I think also we're starting
22:28to build a world
22:29where we can tell stories
22:30about different people
22:31and tell different kinds
22:32of stories, you know?
22:33Kratos gives us his story
22:35and it's been changing
22:36and evolving
22:36and that's fantastic
22:37and I can't wait
22:39to see where it goes.
22:40Yeah.
22:41But it also is nice
22:42to be able to tell
22:43different stories
22:44along the way.
22:45Yep.
22:46And to see,
22:46where do these stories go?
22:48And introducing
22:48this sort of extra layer,
22:51the afterlife of the gods
22:52that actually connects
22:53to all of these other things.
22:56This was a wonderful conversation.
22:58Thanks for having me.
22:58Thank you for taking the time.
23:00So I want to encourage
23:01everybody out there
23:02to go take a look
23:03at the God of War
23:05Laufei announce
23:06that was just released.
23:07If you haven't seen it already,
23:09if you've seen it,
23:10watch it again
23:11because it's even more awesome
23:13the second time.
23:14We're going to continue
23:15this conversation together
23:17as well as with all of you
23:19out there in the coming months
23:21as we get then closer
23:23to our release date.
23:25We'll even give you
23:25more information then.
23:27Until then,
23:28we are going to get back to work
23:29because there is a lot
23:31of stuff to do.
23:33So thank you,
23:34everyone,
23:34for watching.
23:35Thank you,
23:36Ariel Lawrence,
23:37for saying yes
23:37to direct this game.
23:41And thank you
23:42to all of the fans
23:44of God of War
23:45that allow us
23:46to continue
23:47to have jobs.
23:49Yes.
23:50Thank you.
23:50Thank you for your support.
24:02PlayStation.
24:04Das war's für heute.
