The search and rescue operation for Jaslinda Saludin, who went missing while hiking at Gunung Batu Putih in Tapah, has been scaled down after 11 days.

Only the Fire and Rescue Department is continuing search efforts in accordance with missing persons operations protocols.

00:16TAPA OCPD Superintendent Abdulmalik Hasim said the decision was made during an operations coordination meeting chaired by the Batang Padang
00:26district officer on Wednesday.
00:28He said the operation began on May 24 after police received reports that two hikers had sustained injuries while ascending
00:37the mountain.
00:38One of the hikers, a local man in his 40s, was rescued the next day and taken to hospital for
00:44treatment.
00:45However, Jaslinda remains missing despite extensive search efforts over the past 11 days.
00:51Abdulmalik said the operation involved multiple government agencies, non-governmental organizations, volunteers and local residents, with a total of 116
01:02personnel deployed.
01:04He said although the operation has been scaled down, police will continue monitoring the situation and investigating the disappearance.
