00:00We took off in the kookaburra and stayed in the air for two hours.
00:04I've been riding and it was very, very cold, I remember.
00:09But my boyfriend of the day said,
00:11OK, this is your first glide flight and it's a competition day
00:16to see how long we can stay in the air in this wintertime.
00:20And we took off in the kookaburra and stayed in the air for two hours.
00:25And I had a really good look around.
00:27And I must say, for me, it was an enormous thrill.
00:30It's the first time that I had seen the earth from the air.
00:34And so that was exciting.
00:38That was very exciting.
00:40I think of the appreciation of the freedom of it.
00:44Here we are flying with no motor.
00:50And the only thing that's keeping us up here is the weather.
