00:45It's probably going to mean red flag.
00:47Yeah, I can see around the circuit, opposite my commentary box,
00:49red flags are coming out.
00:51And not unsurprisingly, the first thing to do
00:53is just make sure the drivers are OK.
00:54These cars are built very, very strongly indeed.
00:56It was one of the slower corners, Agostini.
00:59But any car that doesn't remain on its wheels,
01:01it sort of heads over.
01:02It's always a concern.
01:03And didn't quite see the start of it.
01:05So it'd be unwise to say what happened.
01:07But at the end of it, you could see that Luke Kelly,
01:10I'm afraid, was out of the race.
01:14And for Kyle Wells,
01:16he had a significant amount of damage to the front of his car.
01:18There was another grey car that was off as well,
01:20which did look as though it might have been number 85
01:22in the hands of Richard Baston.
01:24But again, I couldn't quite tell from that shot
01:26that we saw at the time.
01:28So all of those cars heading back around the circuit.
01:33And for poor old Luke Kelly,
01:34that is only his second ever weekend of racing, Luke Kelly.
01:38One good thing is they're all out of the car.
01:39They're all absolutely fine.
01:42And it is, yeah, Richard Baston was the other car,
01:44the number 85 car.
01:45But you can see the damage to Kyle Wells' car.
01:47The front of the Porsche has taken a significant amount of damage
01:51where clearly something went wrong.
01:54You know, I don't know whether it's a missed braking point.
01:56I don't know whether it's a mechanical issue.
01:57But that is a significant impact,
01:59the front of the Boxster,
02:00into what was, by the look of things,
02:02the rear of Luke Kelly's car.
02:05But, say, the most important thing
02:07and the only important thing is that all the drivers
02:09are out of their respective cars,
02:11probably all wondering exactly what happened
02:13because it all unfolds so, so quickly.
02:16And, as I say, the only important thing
02:18is that everybody walks away.
02:19And that is always good to see.
02:21These cars are built very strongly.
02:23The technical regulations for the Porsche Club,
02:25Motorsports Championship and the AM Championship
02:27means that all of the cars
02:28have all of the requisite safety requirements
02:31in there as well.
02:32The drivers have all of their hand and neck protection as well.
02:35The hands device, as it's called.
02:37Multi-point roll cages.
02:39Seats which wrap around them as well.
02:41And a quick replay.
02:43Well, by the look of things, right, OK,
02:44something must have happened between Richard Baston
02:46and Kyle Wells.
02:48And Kyle Wells was already on the grass
02:51going in towards Agostini.
02:53and by the look of things, sorry,
02:55Luke Kelly, I should say,
02:56was already on the grass going in towards Agostini.
02:58And as Kyle Wells was just turning his way
03:00around the corner,
03:01the green Cayman, sorry, orange Cayman,
03:04the orange Cayman, I should say,
03:06was already on the grass
03:07and clattered into the side of Kyle Wells,
03:10who was very much the innocent party in that one.
03:13So, by the look of things, yeah,
03:14Richard Baston and Luke Kelly.
03:16Something happened out of shot.
03:17Something happened out of shot,
03:18potentially between those two.
03:20So, that put the orange Cayman
03:22onto the grass on the inside of Agostini.
03:25And as he came back onto the tarmac,
03:26turning his way through,
03:28whilst leading his group as well,
03:29the AM category, Kyle Wells,
03:30was just collected by the out-of-control
03:33car of Luke Kelly.
03:34And as those two made contact,
03:36that was what caused the significant damage
03:37to Kyle Wells' car.
03:38And that was ultimately then what caused
03:40Luke Kelly's car to briefly be inverted
03:42and land back on its wheels, thankfully.
03:44But as we say...
