00:00Yeah, as good as I've ever seen.
00:02And I think also today he was one of the five finalists for the Buster Posey Award.
00:07I know we have some amazing catchers in the country this year.
00:10A lot of draft-eligible guys seem like they're a year ahead of him.
00:15But that's about as big of a showing as you can.
00:18And for him to do that a lot last year as a freshman, learn how to call it on game.
00:22And I don't remember a ball getting past him this whole regional.
00:26Just being able to handle the moment.
00:28But it is a combination of the pitcher and catchers of running game and stuff.
00:32But we've done a really good job to this point after a bunch of games.
00:36And Chase has got a lot to do with that.
00:38Just a complete player.
00:41I think what Jackson was talking about between innings, and he's got all this going on.
00:47It's not just the physical stuff you see.
00:49It is absolutely those intangibles of being able to process and think
00:53and be able to run something.
00:56And I think we all know, sitting here, that there was a dramatic shift in what we did
01:03these last two games against Milwaukee than what we did the first game.
01:09And for college athletes to be able to do that, I give a ton of credit to Teeford and Fox.
01:15But there was a prudent risk and a real adjustment.
01:22And they don't always work.
01:24But it did in this instance.
01:26And I give all those guys a lot of credit and really Chase understanding the changes
01:31that we needed to make and had to make and being able to run it.
01:34And the offense is just amazing because a lot of people, catchers, can create a career
01:43by really not hitting.
01:46That's why I think Chase Frederick will play the game for a very long time
01:50because it's pretty buttoned up.
01:52I think the only challenge he's got is he runs about the same speed I do.
01:55But other than that, he's pretty amazing.
