00:00Country 1825 is commercial-free, and as promised, joining me in the studio now,
00:05he sold out the Leader Bank Pavilion tonight.
00:07He's coming back to New Hampshire in a couple of months.
00:10Ty Myers, what's going on?
00:12Yeah, what's going on? Thanks for having me.
00:14Thank you so much for coming. You just played a couple of songs in our studio.
00:17Yeah.
00:18Just a good preview for what people are in for tonight.
00:21So I'm very excited.
00:23I am also just over the moon. I cannot wait.
00:25You've sold out rooms and shows all across the country at 18 years old.
00:30Does that still feel weird to stay out loud?
00:33Not to stay out loud. To do, maybe.
00:37Definitely a little stranger to do.
00:39Definitely. Of course, with Boston crowds, they could either love you or eat you alive,
00:43and they love you.
00:45What's stood out about playing here over the years?
00:47Oh, I mean, they're just very, very, you know, emotional about the music.
00:54The way you're in the music, and that's all you can ask for as a performer.
00:57Well, we're going to have tickets to your show coming up in just a couple of minutes.
01:00So make sure you're here, and we'll give a meet and greet away, too,
01:03after Luke Bryan, Country 1025.
01:05It's Luke Bryan, Country 1025.
01:07It's commercial free with Ben and the guy who sold out the Leader Bank Pavilion tonight.
01:11Ty Myers is in the studio.
01:14And for those lucky enough to be going tonight, what kind of show are they going to be getting?
01:19Oh, well, you know, it's always my goal for a show.
01:21I want the set list to feel kind of like a roller coaster, have your ups and downs and
01:25everything in between.
01:27So I'm going to try to pull on the heartstrings a little bit, maybe, and then also get you
01:32a little hyped up and rocking.
01:34So try to tell the line between the two.
01:37A good mix of emotions.
01:38Yeah.
01:38So you've gone from, like, Texas dance halls to stadiums of Luke Holmes in, like, basically
01:43no time.
01:44What is the biggest thing you learned from watching Luke every night?
01:47Oh, I mean, you, as, as an artist, you are, um, part of our job title is bringing the energy
01:55every night.
01:56Sure.
01:56It says that in the description.
01:58It does.
01:58When you apply.
01:58Yeah.
01:58When you apply, it's, yeah, it's a whole, it's a strict process.
02:02And, you know, so many interviews like this, but you know, that's, it's just coming out
02:09with the energy and bringing the energy to the crowd every night.
02:12I, it, it, it takes a lot, but it's, it's, you can see it unfold right in front of you,
02:19how important it is and how, how your energy, the crowd just feeds off of it.
02:23So it's, it's, it's very important and something that Luke does a very, very good job at.
02:27So I just want to do a little bit of these like quick hits here for you.
02:31So like, what's the most embarrassing song that you're like on your playlist recently?
02:35Oh gosh.
02:37Embarrassing song.
02:39Um, Oh, embarrassing.
02:41This is tough.
02:43I mean, I don't listen to embarrassing music.
02:47Uh, um, I would say maybe, maybe like, uh, Olivia Dean song or something.
02:57That's not that embarrassing at all.
02:58It's really good.
02:59It's just, you know, I, I don't play it in front of my boys.
03:02That's for sure.
03:04What's your go-to gas station snack?
03:07Oh, uh, like trail mix.
03:08Okay.
03:09Or, uh, you know, like with the M&Ms and the Reese's.
03:11You don't have to lie.
03:11You can say Reese's.
03:12Uh, they're up there.
03:14Uh, Starburst.
03:16Okay.
03:16Now we're going down the right path.
03:18Yeah.
03:18And then we'll get like a, like a hot dog roller dog at a good gas station.
03:21I don't know if I could do that.
03:22Oh, at a good one.
03:23You, you, you'll know when you walk in.
03:25Yeah.
03:25Yeah.
03:27If nobody's like screaming random stuff in the corner, then you can probably get a hot dog off the roller
03:31machine.
03:31I'm sure.
03:32And what's the most surreal text that you've gotten recently?
03:36Oh gosh.
03:38Um, uh, surreal text that I've gotten.
03:44Um, Marcus King invited me to come and do his, uh, Nashville show.
03:52That was what it was.
03:53It was like last week.
03:54And, and he texts me.
03:56I got so excited.
03:57And then it turns out I had the shows a show the same night.
03:59No, I know I was livid.
04:01And it was surreal how angry it made me.
04:05Did you almost cancel your own show to go do that?
04:08It crossed your mind.
04:10I was debating it.
04:11I was like, why?
04:12I was like, why can't we just, let's meet up in the middle and bring our crowds.
04:16Yeah, absolutely.
04:17All right.
04:18Well, speaking of shows, you've got one today in Boston, Leader Bank Pavilion in caller 25
04:23right now is going to give or going to get our absolute final pair of tickets to your show
04:28and a meet and greet with you tonight.
04:30It's a good day to be caller 25.
04:32Absolutely.
04:33So the number everybody is 888-819-1025.
04:38Call up now, caller 25.
04:39And we're going to pick a winner while I play a little time.
04:42Yeah.
04:42Or do you wait for 25?
04:43I don't know.
04:45You can hear that song tonight at the Leader Bank Pavilion.
04:49If you're caller 25, that is.
04:51Or if you already have tickets.
04:52Because the show is sold out and we do have a winner.
04:55We have a winner.
04:57Country won at 2-5.
04:58It's Ben.
05:00We're with Ty Myers.
05:01And who is this?
05:04This is Glenn.
05:05Glenn, how are we doing tonight?
05:07Good to help.
05:08I'm doing all right.
05:09You know, I'm just going to say hi to Ty Myers.
05:10He's right here with you.
05:12Hey, Ty.
05:13He says hi.
05:14All right.
05:15Well, if you don't have any plans, we would love to send you to his concert tonight at the
05:19Leader Bank Pavilion, your caller 25.
05:21That's awesome.
05:23And that's not all.
05:24What else did they win?
05:25Well, you want to come meet with us and I'll pop some jokes and stuff and maybe twist your
05:32arm a little bit.
05:32We can have a little fun.
05:34Sure.
05:35Cool.
05:36Absolutely.
05:36All right.
05:36You're going.
05:37Woo!
05:38All right.
05:39Well, hang on, Glenn.
05:40We'll be right back with you.
05:41Take some info down so we can get you all the tickets and everything you need.
05:45So hang tight.
05:46Ty, this has been fun.
05:47Thank you so much.
05:48Thank you all so much for having me.
05:50I hope to come back soon if you all have me.
05:52Unless you all hated me.
05:53No.
05:53Never had me again.
05:54The phone lines were buzzing.
05:56It's a good indication.
05:57Okay.
05:58All right.
05:58Well, let's get you to Boston because I think you've got to prepare or whatever.
06:02Yeah, whatever.
06:03Something like that.
