The 2025/26 Premier League season finally saw Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal crowned Premier League champions after a season-long battle with Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, which was also marked by the legendary manager announcing his departure after 10 years at the club.

Defending champions Liverpool were unable to maintain the form they showed during the 2024/25 season and slipped to fifth place, while Manchester United bounced back to finish third following a disastrous 2024/25 campaign.

Elsewhere, the table remained tightly packed, with the battles for European qualification and Premier League survival both going down to the final day. Here is the 2025/26 Season Review.

00:00New beginnings, fresh ambitions, the champions were back, with challengers waiting in the wings.
00:17A rollercoaster season was about to unfold in a way that nobody saw coming.
00:28The last campaign belonged to Liverpool, and the question heading into this one was simple.
00:33Could they do it again?
00:36Arnes Lott's first season at Anfield had been a huge success, and rather than standing still, the champions looked to
00:43get even stronger.
00:45Florian Wurtz arrived for a record fee.
00:47Hugo Eketike added more firepower, and, later in the window, in a serious statement of intent, Alexander Issac arrived, not
00:56without acrimony from Newcastle.
00:59But heavy clouds hung too, following the tragic passing of Diogo Jota, aged just 28.
01:07Husband, father to three, friend to all.
01:10His loss was devastating to Liverpool, to his teammates, and to football.
01:18Arsenal hoped they had found the missing centre-forward-shaped piece of their puzzle, too.
01:24I always want to score. I can't wait, and it will be an amazing feeling.
01:28After smashing it in Portugal's top tier for sporting, Victor Jokeres was top of their shopping list, and he arrived
01:35at the Gunners with high expectations.
01:38City strengthened their midfield with Rean Cherky and Tajani Reinders, while, after their 15th place finish in 2024-25,
01:47United had to go big, and they did.
01:50Benjamin Seshko, Brian Mbomo, and Matthias Cunha all arrived to help spark Ruben Amorim's struggling side back to life.
01:59For me, it's the biggest club in the world.
02:01Enzo Mareska also wanted attacking reinforcements, bringing Brighton's João Pedro in to lead the Chelsea front line.
02:09Newly promoted Burnley, Leeds, and Sunderland all made themselves at home pretty quickly,
02:14with the Black Cats looking particularly eye-catching after bringing in Swiss international captain Granit Xhaka.
02:20There were changes in the dugout as well.
02:23After a concerning 17th place finish, Spurs turned to Brentford's Thomas Frank to lead them back up the table.
02:31The feeling of being new head coach is extraordinary.
02:34Really looking forward to this massive challenge.
02:37That left a job opening at Brentford, who quickly promoted their former set-piece coach, Keith Andrews, to the top
02:44job.
02:44A bold move from the Bees.
02:47With their top goal scorers, Brian Mbomo and Johan Wisser, also on their way out,
02:51it felt like the new man had a big job on his hands.
02:55But they have a history of discovering great talent.
02:59Everton prepared for a season that already felt momentous,
03:02with the club beginning life in their brand new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
03:05And all across the league, there was a sense of belief and renewed hope.
03:10But now it was time to see who could do the business.
03:16The new season kicked off, and it didn't take long for the big storylines to start bubbling to the surface.
03:23Opening weekend matches always bonds with possibility.
03:28Arsenal were one of the early pace-setters.
03:31A win at Old Trafford against one of their oldest rivals always goes down well.
03:37My dear couldn't keep it out, Calafiore heads!
03:40Mikel Arteta's side backed it up with a 5-0 demolition of Leeds.
03:45Saka!
03:47Jocheres opened his account.
03:49There's Jocheres, just favourite, moving out to the left.
03:52It's Victor Jocheres!
03:5415-year-old prodigy Max Dowman made his debut as Arsenal started off brilliantly.
04:00Everything seemed to suggest that they'd be right in the mix again.
04:05I loved it, and hopefully we give them a lot of reason to continue like that.
04:09But there was a freshness about the reigning champions.
04:12Eketike made an immediate impact, and they were finding a sense of momentum.
04:17At Newcastle, 16-year-old Rio Ngomoa bagged a ridiculously dramatic late winner...
04:24Ngomoa, what a moment!
04:25What a moment!
04:27...that also saw the arrival of Refcam...
04:30The 16-year-old with almost the last kick!
04:34New season, new names, new angles.
04:37It was the Reds who edged Match Week 3's heavyweight clash against Arsenal.
04:42Two teams who carried the last title race deep into spring.
04:47Now they meet again, early in the season this time.
04:51How good was this winner from Dominic Sobosla?
04:55Oh, that's an incredible, incredible free kick!
05:01Just like that.
05:03And a win in the Merseyside derby made it five wins from five.
05:08Gravenberg!
05:10Surely, another title charge was brewing.
05:13And despite that defeat to Liverpool, Everton's start was steady enough.
05:18On the topic!
05:19You've heard of a new manager bounce, but how about a new stadium bounce?
05:26Well, it's a thing now, because it worked for Everton.
05:31Jack Grealish had joined on loan from Man City in the summer to help steer the Toffees to a 2
05:36-0 win at home to Brighton.
05:38Cut in by Grealish!
05:40And it's Evertonian ecstasy!
05:43Jack's certainly got it. I hope he's got more of them to come.
05:46And that man's parent club were flying too.
05:48Some things never change, do they?
05:50Erling Haaland did Erling Haaland things and began the season in typically ridiculous fashion,
05:56firing in eight goals in the opening six games.
05:59And Haaland for his regular goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
06:03And City's opening day win at Wolves reminded the league just how devastating they can be.
06:09But all wasn't as it seemed.
06:12They went on to lose against Spurs.
06:15It's a horrendous moment.
06:17It's Richarlison, it's Schaupelinia, and it's two for Tottenham.
06:21And Manchester City have only got themselves to blame.
06:25And Brighton.
06:26He's going to walk it in.
06:28And Brighton have turned it around at home to Manchester City.
06:33Making it the first time that they'd lost two of their opening three fixtures since 2004.
06:39We are going to start a winning game, it's going to happen.
06:42In fact, only one team has ever recovered from that run of early results to go on and win the
06:48title.
06:48Yes! Yes! For Manchester United!
06:51And that was Manchester United in 1992-93, the first ever Premier League season.
06:57So was the title race over for Manchester City already?
07:01Surely not.
07:02Spurs had a new energy about them under Thomas Frank.
07:06They won three of their first four, sweeping past West Ham 3-0.
07:10And the header from the far post from Pat Matazza.
07:14And suddenly looked like one of the sides most capable of causing real problems.
07:20Spurs were looking good.
07:22Okay, let's take a second to talk about Nottingham Forest.
07:27Because after getting them into Europe, Nuno Espirito Santo was sacked after only three games,
07:33which included a win, a draw, and okay, one defeat after a late blitz from West Ham.
07:39Finds Bowen, who finds the bottom corner!
07:44Wilson!
07:46So, where did Nottingham Forest turn to?
07:50And, first off, welcome to Nottingham Forest.
07:54And Poster Coghle.
07:55But we'll come back to that a little bit later on.
07:58Now, the Hammers, meanwhile, were not exactly hitting their targets.
08:03And a Match Week 5 defeat to Crystal Palace proved to be an early end for their boss, Graham Potter.
08:08Well, the chorus of boos that echoes around the stadium
08:13signifies that, once again, West Ham have been beaten at home.
08:17Vacancy?
08:18Yeah.
08:19Manager looking for a job?
08:20Yeah.
08:21You guessed it.
08:22Nuno, welcome to West Ham United.
08:24How does it feel?
08:25Feels good.
08:25Feels good.
08:26His former club Wolves were also enduring a very tough start.
08:30They lost all of their opening five games, with Newcastle edging a 1-0 win in Match Week 4.
08:36And Dominic Calvert-Lewin bagging his first goal for Leeds to give his side all three points.
08:43Champions League quarter-finalists Aston Villa weren't exactly flying either, failing to even score in their first four matches.
08:51Which, as a hopeful European, if not title contender, is not a record that you want to be setting.
08:57Their first goal of the season finally arrived, though, in a 1-0 draw at Sunderland.
09:02He scores! Aston Villa's first Premier League goal of the season!
09:07427 minutes into the season.
09:10Only Newcastle in 2005 and Crystal Palace in 2017 have waited longer for their first goal of the season.
09:17Crystal Palace have scored!
09:19Burnley had been given a brutal reintroduction to Premier League life.
09:24Man Utd, Liverpool and Man City all came along in the opening weeks,
09:28and City's 5-1 win made it 14 consecutive victories over the Clarets in all competitions.
09:35It's a cruel scoreline in some ways for Burnley.
09:37But they did get going with a 2-0 win over Sunderland.
09:41Josh Cullen, set up by Anthony!
09:44Who themselves were finding Premier League life pretty... easy?
09:49Let's go boys, let's go, let's go!
09:51Sunderland took 11 points from their opening six matches.
09:55Isidore! Feel the passion on Wearside!
10:00That was their best return at that stage in a top-flight season since 1967.
10:06That is a seriously solid start.
10:08Another huge step for Sunderland as they acclimatise to life in the Premier League.
10:14Their first away win of the season.
10:16Sheer delight.
10:18Six games of this new season, they have been beaten just once.
10:23And they weren't the only surprise package.
10:25A new-look Bournemouth went about their business under the radar.
10:29Looking for Ever, Nielsen took it well, took it beautifully!
10:33Winning three and drawing two of their opening six.
10:37No problem!
10:39While Crystal Palace quietly built a very serious run.
10:43Their unbeaten streak in all competitions stretched to 18 matches.
10:47With their 3-0 win at Aston Villa, a standout result.
10:51Bent in by Marguerite!
10:53And then came an even bigger one.
10:56Eddie Nketiah firing in a late goal to end Liverpool's winning streak and claim all three points for the Eagles.
11:03It's Nketiah!
11:08But Liverpool remained happily at the top of the table after six games, with a few surprise names circling around
11:15them and, of course, the usual suspects.
11:17But that result against Crystal Palace was surely just a blip, right?
11:24Well, sadly for Liverpool fans, it wasn't.
11:26Liverpool's form dropped.
11:28First, Chelsea beat them 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
11:32And waxed it into the top corner!
11:34Then, Man United won 2-1 at Anfield.
11:38Brunafone has Harry Maguire!
11:41It's another Harry Maguire header!
11:44And a week later, Brentford made it four league defeats on the bounce.
11:49And Igor Thiago puts them 3-1 up against the champions.
11:54As many league defeats already as in the whole of last season.
11:59That early swagger had gone, and the spiral hadn't stopped.
12:04A huge game at Man City in Match Week 11 ended in a 3-0 defeat, leaving Arna Slott's stunned
12:10side a massive.
12:1111 points behind new leaders Arsenal after 12 matches.
12:15While the Gunners were setting the standard, going on a run of four games without conceding a single goal.
12:22Evidence that defensive strength would be the foundation of their title charge.
12:27In Match Week 12, Spurs came to the Emirates for the first North London derby of the season,
12:33off the back of a defeat against Chelsea and a draw against Man United.
12:37And Eberici Eze, a summer target for Tottenham, was on fire and sent a statement to the rest of the
12:43division.
12:44Brilliant from Eze!
12:46How did he get it into a shooting position there?
12:50To Trossard, to Eberici Eze.
12:53This could be the hat-trick!
12:56And Chelsea were hearing that loud and clear.
12:59After a patchy opening spell, they found some rhythm and surged into second place.
13:04Away from Santi Bueno and puts it on a plate for Pedro Neto.
13:09Jao Pedro and Pedro Neto were in particularly good form to help their side see off Spurs, Wolves and then
13:16Burnley.
13:17Chips it in towards Fernandes and Neto!
13:21Aston Villa had finally got going too.
13:24Rogers.
13:25Getting the shot away and scoring.
13:27After their goalless start to the season, Unai Emery's side clicked into gear with four straight wins,
13:33including a massive one against a stuttering Man City.
13:37Didn't fancy it for his time.
13:39What a brilliant second touch!
13:41Villa had thrown themselves back into contention.
13:46Sunderland's surprise start didn't look like slowing down either,
13:50and a few results really made people sit up and properly pay attention.
13:55There was chaos in the Stamford Bridge away end in Match Week 9,
14:00after Chems Dean Talby's last-minute winner.
14:03Rolls it across.
14:04Talby's strike!
14:05And he might just have won it for Sunderland!
14:08And two weeks later, they were at it again, against Arsenal.
14:12Ball is cut in.
14:13Ballard is in there.
14:14Creating new just...
14:14Brody!
14:17Bournemouth's momentum was building and building under Andoni Iraiola.
14:22Already quietly impressive, they kept it rolling,
14:25with a 3-1 win over Fulham in Match Week 7.
14:28It's the Antoine Semenyo show again!
14:31And by Match Week 9, they had stretched their unbeaten run to 8,
14:35with a 2-0 win over Sean Dyche's Nottingham Forest.
14:39These are the days for Bournemouth.
14:41That's right, Sean Dyche's Nottingham Forest.
14:44Ball in, ball in, ball in.
14:45Good to see you, how are you?
14:46Yeah, good, thank you.
14:47And Postacoglu lasted just 39 days in post,
14:51after failing to win any of his five league games in charge.
14:54It's Vultimata against Salves!
14:57As cool as you like!
15:00And Forest became the earliest side ever,
15:02to have three permanent managers in a single Premier League season.
15:06So, Dyche was in the dugout, aiming to get Forest back on track,
15:11because down at the bottom, things were getting messy.
15:15Leeds, Burnley, West Ham and Wolves were all finding it really hard going,
15:20and big games were coming thick and fast.
15:23But Burnley gave themselves a lift, a crucial 2-0 win over Leeds in Match Week 8.
15:29Oh, the shot coming in!
15:30Oh, it's brilliant!
15:31And they followed it up, with another massive result a week later against bottom side Wolves,
15:37Interesting position here, and opting for the first time effort!
15:40who just could not catch a break.
15:43Real chance to win it!
15:45It's done exactly that!
15:47Defeat to Fulham in Match Week 10 made it 10 games without a win,
15:51and with just two points on the board, the club fired Vitor Pereira.
15:56For the first time in Premier League history,
15:58a team have failed to win any of their opening 10 games, two seasons running.
16:04Middlesbrough's Rob Edwards was seen as the man to save their season.
16:08It's done!
16:10Leeds were tumbling too.
16:13A 3-0 defeat at Brighton kicked off a four-game losing run.
16:17Cuts the ball back, and Wolves scores again!
16:19And things got worse when fellow strugglers Forrest beat them 3-1 a week later.
16:25By now, the bottom end of the table was beginning to take shape.
16:29It's towards Gibbs-White, and Forrest have turned it around!
16:33But elsewhere, a few sides were beginning to wake up.
16:36Manchester United, after last season's struggles, were quietly starting to look good.
16:41Wins over Sunderland and Brighton, helped by their new-look forward line,
16:45Oh, it's a super goal from Cunha!
16:48We're giving the Old Trafford faithful some hope at last.
16:52And Obamo's in! And wraps it up!
16:55We suffered a little bit in the end.
16:57Would not be Manchester United without suffering a little bit.
17:01And Brighton, despite that defeat, refused to take their foot off the gas.
17:06Danny Welbeck's strong start kept rolling on as he made it six goals in their opening 10 games.
17:13That's a decent-looking delivery to Welbeck!
17:17After some ups and downs, David Moyes Everton were looking good too.
17:22There's the flick! There's the goal! Michael Keane!
17:25Away at Man United, Idrissa Gueye received a red card after just 13 minutes for fighting with his own teammate,
17:32Michael Keane.
17:33But, in a real statement of character, they still took home the three points.
17:50It proved the resilience of the Toffees under David Moyes and heaped the pressure back onto Ruben Amory.
17:57Newcastle United had been equally inconsistent across the start of the season.
18:02Back-to-back 3-1 defeats to West Ham and then Brentford rang a few alarm bells.
18:08It's Thiago! That is that!
18:11But Match Week 12 brought a huge response.
18:15Lovely touch. Bruno Gimurais again.
18:17Harvey Barnes!
18:19Newcastle lead!
18:22It's a tremendous day for the Toon!
18:25Pep was not a happy man with that result.
18:28But it was a badly needed lift for the Magpies.
18:32By the end of Match Week 12, Arsenal led the way, but plenty of other sides were charging into the
18:39conversation.
18:40The season was getting serious.
18:46Man City were about to do Man City things.
18:49After that defeat at Newcastle, Pep Guardiola's side went into overdrive and began a winning run of six games through
18:57December.
18:58With Erling Haaland and Phil Foden both getting on the score sheet as they put five past Fulham in a
19:03crazy game at Craven Cottage.
19:05Chocoese! He's done it again!
19:08Did you enjoy it, guys?
19:09I love my hair.
19:11If I want everyone, it's over.
19:12Start to write articles, you know, tomorrow.
19:15Manchester City's back.
19:17Haaland added another four goals across the month, taking his tally to 19 before the turn of the year.
19:24Foden looking for Haaland!
19:26And again!
19:27Well, you can't give him two chances!
19:30And Aston Villa weren't backing off either.
19:32In fact, they were the form side through the start of the winter, winning eight in a row.
19:38Their best streak in the top flight since 1910.
19:42Set for Buendia.
19:44Oh!
19:45And he reveled in the spotlight!
19:47Unlike the start of the season, goals were now flying in for Villa.
19:50And I mean, flying in.
19:52Unana to unleash!
19:55Boubacar Kamara's winner against Wolves was their ninth goal from outside the box already.
20:00In fact, they'd scored more goals from outside the box than inside it.
20:04And Emi Martinez was doing the business at the other end, too.
20:09Recovered remarkably.
20:10Their biggest affirmation came against Arsenal in match week 15.
20:15Here's Matty Cash!
20:19Chaotic scenes when Dia wins it for Aston Villa with the final kick of the game!
20:26And suddenly, it felt like it was time to take Villa's title charge seriously, because they were now only three
20:33points adrift of the top.
20:35The response from the Gunners had to be good.
20:37And it was.
20:39That result kick-started a five-game winning run, beginning with a late, late victory over a struggling Wolves.
20:46And Arsenal have found a way!
20:48And bizarrely, Arsenal and Villa would meet again, only four games after their previous match.
20:54And this time, Arsenal got their revenge.
20:57A 4-1 win, a huge statement.
20:59What a difference a few weeks makes.
21:02First touch! That's how you do it!
21:05Aston Villa are being dismantled.
21:09Below them, the battle for Europe was taking shape.
21:12Liverpool's form had improved.
21:14Alexander Issac got his first goal for the Reds in a 2-0 win at West Ham, their first away
21:20league victory in over two months.
21:22But cracks continued to show.
21:25They could only pick up a draw against Sunderland.
21:27And even though they thought they'd snatched it against Leeds at Ellen Road.
21:32And he scores!
21:33And Liverpool regained the lead again!
21:36It was levelled up with one of the last kicks of the game.
21:40Chaos.
21:41And a reality check for Arna Slott's side.
21:43Chance for Tanaka!
21:46He produces the magic!
21:48Fulham, meanwhile, were slowly finding some form, thanks mainly to Harry Wilson.
21:54He provided six goal contributions through December, with the Cottagers winning three in a row and giving themselves a much
22:01-needed bump up the table.
22:02And they go for goal and they find it!
22:06Newcastle, meanwhile, were on an up-and-down journey.
22:09They earned an impressive three points by putting four past Everton in a four-game unbeaten streak.
22:15Great ball again and in this time!
22:18But then came the Weir-Tyne derby.
22:20Ten years of winding roads.
22:23And it didn't go their way.
22:25A Sunderland win, helped by an error from Newcastle striker Nick Voltemar.
22:31Voltemar into his own net!
22:34Sunderland beat Newcastle.
22:36When you win this particular fixture, it always means more.
22:42They suffered another setback in Match Week 18 against Manchester United, who were themselves hard to pin down.
22:48A win against Crystal Palace at the end of November felt like a step in the right direction.
22:53Oh, and Mason Mount has fired it in.
22:56But poor results kept coming.
22:59A 4-all draw with Bournemouth at Old Trafford wasn't considered up to scratch.
23:04Oh, and it's fallen for Kruppi!
23:06Oh, four apiece!
23:07And another home draw against bottom side Wolves wasn't top of their Christmas list either.
23:12And it's in!
23:13Wolves are level!
23:14It's been coming!
23:16Serious questions were being asked of the United boss.
23:20Manchester United might reflect on the fact that they simply didn't do enough.
23:24And similar was going on at Chelsea.
23:26There was a distinct lack of festive cheer as they picked up just one win in six December games.
23:33Villa have done it again!
23:35At the bottom, though, things were really ramping up.
23:39Leeds had looked in trouble after four straight defeats through November.
23:42But match week 13 against Manchester City, it felt like a huge turning point in their season.
23:48They might have lost, but Daniel Farker's switch to a 3-5-2 gave them something different.
23:55And in December, they turned a corner.
23:58Dominic Calvert-Lewin hit form, guiding his side to a huge win against Chelsea.
24:03Darren England's given every chance.
24:05Oh, what a mistake.
24:06I'll get four.
24:07Calvert-Lewin puts it in.
24:08And then followed it up in a dramatic draw against Liverpool.
24:13With his goals against Crystal Palace and Sunderland, Calvert-Lewin became only the 11th English player in Premier League history
24:20to score in six consecutive appearances.
24:23And by match week 17, Leeds had pulled themselves safely out of the relegation zone.
24:29What a turnaround.
24:31West Ham, on the other hand, slipped into the bottom three.
24:35Draws with Man United and Brighton were slim pickings from a pretty bleak festive spell, and their form was worrying.
24:43Meanwhile, Forest were putting up a fight.
24:46They picked up two wins in early December against Wolves and then Spurs.
24:50And even though it didn't feel like it at the time, this was a huge game for Forest in the
24:55relegation battle.
24:56But for Wolves, things were getting historically bad.
25:00A 2-0 defeat to Brentford left them on a record low, two points after 17 games.
25:06And when Liverpool beat them 2-1 in match week 18, it meant that Wolves had equalled their longest ever
25:13losing run in league history.
25:15Florian Beers!
25:17Were they on course to break Derby County's record low points total of 11?
25:22Yeah, we can take a lot from it, but we're not taking any points.
25:26Burnley and Bournemouth were right there in the struggling pack too.
25:30Both were winless since the end of October, and their 1-1 draw in match week 17 did neither side
25:35any real favours.
25:37And Burnley have got their goal!
25:38At the midpoint in the season then, the pressure was building across the whole league, and for those at the
25:44bottom, well, the new year could not come soon enough.
25:49Arsenal were still leading the race, but this is the Premier League.
25:54It's never that simple, is it?
25:59As the saying goes, new year, new manager, is that a saying?
26:04Chelsea had been on a poor run of form, and their boss Enzo Mareska was feeling the pressure.
26:10Their 2-0 draw with Bournemouth on New Year's Day proved to be his final game, as he and the
26:15club decided to part weight.
26:17And Bournemouth have done it a second time!
26:19So, Chelsea's ownership group looked to Strasbourg, and Liam Rossinia took charge.
26:25Good detail! Good detail!
26:30His first full game in charge ended in three points against Brentford.
26:34Straight to João Pedro! It's a goal for Chelsea!
26:39And then the Blues just kept winning.
26:41Four in a row, in fact, and Rossinia joined Mourinho, Ancelotti and Sarri as the only permanent
26:47Chelsea managers to win their first four Premier League games.
26:51I mean, that's a pretty prestigious company to be in.
26:54My biggest learning is there's a spirit and a fight and a resilience in this group.
26:59Manchester United made a change too.
27:01Their December results were disappointing, but it was a draw with Leeds that brought Amorin's time at Old Trafford to
27:08an end.
27:11They went left field too.
27:14Former United midfielder and ex-Middlesborough boss Michael Carrick getting the job on an interim basis.
27:20And what a start he made.
27:22At the Stratford end!
27:24His first game was the Manchester Derby.
27:27Talk about a baptism of fire.
27:28It's in! It's two!
27:30Manchester United have got themselves a cushion!
27:33A week later, it went one better.
27:37A 3-2 win at the Emirates against their arch-rivals Arsenal.
27:42That was a first home defeat all season for the Gunners.
27:46Outstanding!
27:48Had United finally found the real deal?
27:51Mateus Cunha and Manchester United have turned it around again!
27:58Elsewhere, a few of the league's quieter success stories were becoming a lot louder.
28:04Brentford were flying and Igor Thiago was right at the heart of it.
28:09The Brazilian exploding into life with five goals in two games against Everton and Sunderland as the Bees went six
28:16unbeaten.
28:17Taking his tally to 16 for the season, making him the highest-scoring Brazilian across a single Premier League campaign,
28:25with plenty of football still left to play.
28:27Completes his hat-trick in style!
28:30Really, really clinical, outstanding, calm, confident.
28:35He leaves everything out there.
28:37Bournemouth had gone 11 games without a win between October to the start of January.
28:42But they were about to put that behind them.
28:45Even with their star man Antoine Simeone edging towards a move to Manchester City, they earned a 3-2 win
28:51against Spurs, capped off with a dramatic late winner from the man himself.
28:56Antoine Simeone!
28:59What a way for him to sign off! You just knew!
29:03And that was just the start.
29:04They went on to win another game in the last minute, this time against Liverpool.
29:09And a winning goal!
29:11The perfect finale for the Cherries!
29:1319-year-old Junior Kruppi was quietly starting to make a name for himself in the Premier League too, as
29:19he took his season's tally to eight goals as his side claimed three wins in five January games.
29:25Kruppi!
29:27That is a sensational opening goal from Junior Kruppi!
29:32Fulham were still enjoying themselves too.
29:34Oh, Reid!
29:36Where on earth did he find that one from?
29:39Harry Wilson stayed red hot, scoring three more times in January.
29:45And he's had a go!
29:46And it's all the way in!
29:49Harry Wilson wins it for Fulham!
29:52I'm repeating every single week, but it's the true best moment of his career.
29:55And we are very pleased to have him and to be able for him to decide games.
29:58There was drama off the pitch too.
30:00Manchester City brought in Crystal Palace captain Mark Gay, while Palace responded by moving for Jorgen Strand-Larsen and Brennan
30:08Johnson.
30:09Spurs added Conor Gallagher in midfield.
30:11Hi, Doug.
30:12Good, how are you?
30:13Hey, and safe travel?
30:14Yeah, all good.
30:15While Aston Villa looked to some familiar faces in Tammy Abraham and Douglas Luiz, as they tried to keep their
30:21momentum amidst an injury crisis.
30:24Palace, though, did not hit the ground running in 2026.
30:28Just two points from their first five games of the year suggested there was work to do.
30:33Brobby!
30:36At the bottom end of the table, the mood was very different.
30:39Well, for some.
30:41Forest began the year with a bang.
30:44Two wins and two draws lifted them six points clear of West Ham in 18th place by Match Week 24.
30:50And for a side that had looked all over the place earlier in the season, it felt massive.
30:56Wolves were showing signs of life, too.
31:00Yeah, you look around the stadium, everyone on their feet.
31:02Their first win of the entire season, 3-0 against the Hammers, offered a glimmer of hope with youngster Matthias
31:10Mane the shining star.
31:12It's Matthias Mane!
31:14And they even followed it up with two good draws against Everton and Newcastle.
31:19It's Mane!
31:21He is fearless!
31:23Let's talk about Spurs, because they had a miserable January.
31:28In Match Week 22, West Ham nicked three last-gast points on their own turf.
31:33Callum Wilson makes his mark!
31:36Before a draw against even more relegation-threatened Burnley.
31:41And Dubravka saves again, keeping Tottenham out.
31:45Even though Dominic Solanke produced this thing of beauty against Manchester City.
31:50Somehow he sticks a boot out and finds that top corner.
31:54It's brilliant from Solanke.
31:55It was only another point for Spurs, who started the new year off without a win across the whole of
32:02January and well into February.
32:04Burnley were at risk of getting cut adrift with Wolves as they opened their new year with a defeat to
32:10Brighton.
32:11But the Clarets did at least show some fight, grinding out draws with Liverpool and Manchester United.
32:17There's the header from Szeszko.
32:18It's a brilliant save, though, from Dubravka.
32:21Leeds had gone seven games unbeaten since their defeat to Man City.
32:26And it was only stopped by Newcastle in what was one of the games of the season.
32:31And an equaliser.
32:33The ball spins down.
32:34Barnes on the turn.
32:36Harvey Barnes has won it for Newcastle with the final kick of the game.
32:42So by the end of Match Week 24, the bottom three weren't looking good.
32:46But there was still plenty of time for things to change.
32:49At the top end of the table, Arsenal and Man City had had a real taste of January blues.
32:56That defeat for Arsenal against Man United capped off a run of three without a win, only redeeming their January
33:03form with a very comfortable win over Leeds.
33:06And City had been struck by the United revival too, with their only January win coming against bottom side Wolves
33:13as Antoine Semeno grabbed his first league goal for the club.
33:16And his fellow new arrival, Mark Gay, was making an impression too.
33:20And Mosquera finally.
33:22And the blocks came flying in.
33:24So even though the pair were still leading the pack, it was wide open, with some of the chasers starting
33:31to smell blood.
33:32If the first half of the season had taught us anything, it was that absolutely nothing was settled.
33:42Spring was just around the corner and patience was running low.
33:47For some that meant change and Spurs' Thomas Frank was the next to go.
33:52Back-to-back defeats was enough for the top bosses at Spurs to call it a day on his time
33:58at the club.
33:59But he wasn't the only one out of the door.
34:02At Noddingham Forest, despite their strong January, Sean Dyche was dismissed the very next day after a goalless draw with
34:08Wolves.
34:08They quickly turned to the man who'd kept Wolves up the previous season, Vitor Pereira.
34:14A good team, good feelings. Now it's time to work.
34:19Who became their fourth manager of the season.
34:22It's another fabulous forest goal.
34:25Spurs didn't hang around either, as they brought in former Juventus boss Igor Tudor.
34:30Problem solved. Well, not quite.
34:33Eze must be in it is!
34:36Ebe Eze scores for the fourth time this season in a North London derby.
34:42Arsenal backed it up too, going on to tear past Chelsea, Brighton and in dramatic fashion, Everton.
34:50Where the now 16-year-old Max Downman made history.
34:54Max Downman, the youngest goal scorer in Premier League history.
34:59But Man City were flying too, including a massive three points against Liverpool.
35:04Manchester City lead in stoppage time.
35:08With the super Semenyo and the seriously impressive youngster Nico O'Reilly now playing in a slightly more advanced role
35:15and chipping in with the goals.
35:17They won four games in a row.
35:20Manchester United were trying to force their way into that top-end conversation too.
35:25Michael Carrick's influence had done wonders at Old Trafford.
35:29It's headed in by Casemiro!
35:33Benjamin Seshko was finally starting to enjoy life in the Premier League as he scored in three consecutive games to
35:39continue his side's 11-game unbeaten run.
35:42Seshko! And he's absolutely buried it.
35:46There's a strike you're here to score a winner in front of the stretch for the end, late, late, late.
35:50It's kind of what you dream of, really.
35:52But Bruno Fernandes was proving to be the star of United's season and was providing goal involvements in what felt
35:59like every game.
36:01In Match Week 30, their 3-1 win over Aston Villa felt massive as Bruno claimed his 15th and 16th
36:08assists of the season.
36:10Fernandes with another corner!
36:12Oh, and in!
36:13Could he go on to equal the record of 20, held by Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne?
36:19Villa's form took a hit at the worst time to pull them out of the title race with three defeats
36:25in a row.
36:26And City shot themselves in the foot too, dropping vital points to Nottingham Forest and West Ham in back-to
36:33-back games.
36:33It's on a rumour. Hasn't got there! It's in!
36:36Arsenal seemed to be taking control, moving nine points clear by the end of Match Week 31 and finding form
36:43at the perfect time.
36:44Surely the title race was over.
36:46Fabian Herzler's Brighton had been in fine form after a difficult couple of months.
36:52Danny Welbeck scored in consecutive wins against Brentford and Forest in Match Weeks 27 and 28 to take his tally
36:59to 10 for the season.
37:01He grabbed his 11th and 12th in their win against Liverpool a few weeks later to hit his highest tally
37:08in a Premier League campaign.
37:10Lovely shape on that! And Welbeck turns it in!
37:13A pretty impressive personal record to break at 35 years old.
37:17We keep pushing him, we keep trying to support him and then hopefully one day he gets the reward for
37:22all what he's doing on and off the pitch.
37:25Everton had a mixed bag of results across January and early February.
37:29The story of their season, really. But an away win at Newcastle felt like a statement, especially as this save
37:36earned them all three points.
37:39That is an extraordinary, phenomenal save from Jordan Pickford, Sunderland man!
37:45Look how sweetly Tonali catches that! What a save from Pickford! One of the saves of the season!
37:51And they went a step further a few weeks later by thumping Chelsea 3-0.
37:58Just a defender and a goalkeeper to beat! And he does it magnificently!
38:02Just like that, the Toffees had put together a solid run of form and they looked to be one of
38:07the teams to beat in the hunt for Europe.
38:10If I had been a bit more mobile, I might have done a knee slide, you know what I mean?
38:16Were Fulham in the conversation too? Their form across the whole season had been up and down.
38:23But they put together a run of three wins in five games across February and March with Raul Jimenez, Harry
38:29Wilson and Alex Awobi all chipping in to take three points from Sunderland, Spurs and Burnham.
38:36Crystal Palace had had a really poor December and January, but their form took a bit of a turn as
38:42they picked up three wins in five games across February and early March.
38:46What a chance for Palace! And so scores!
38:50A mix between relief and enjoying and happiness.
38:56But consistency was consistently the problem, as they just couldn't get into a winning run.
39:04At Chelsea, meanwhile, well, Liam Resignia's bright start had started to dim.
39:09Beto gets there on the blind side of the defence! What a fantastic finish!
39:13That defeat to Everton was the end of a tough run of three defeats in four games, including against Newcastle
39:19in Match Week 30.
39:21And that was despite the Blues paying their respects to the ball in an unconventional pre-match huddle.
39:27The referee being ambushed.
39:30But there were still plenty of positives.
39:33João Pedro was hitting immense form at the right time, scoring eight goals since the start of the new year,
39:39including a hat-trick in a massive win against Aston Villa.
39:43João Pedro hat-trick! Chelsea's points!
39:46The quality was still there, and Chelsea certainly weren't out of the European hunt just yet.
39:53Anthony Gordon was back among the goals and in good form for Newcastle,
39:56who just couldn't nail down a consistent enough run of form to be firmly in the mix.
40:02But a win over Manchester United, thanks to an absolute beauty from William Asula,
40:08did show what Eddie Howe's side were capable of.
40:11To win the game!
40:13But then came the Tyne Weir derby.
40:16And like earlier in the season, it did not go their way.
40:20Brubbie!
40:22Sunderland!
40:23Win it!
40:24With 10 seconds remaining of the 90 minutes!
40:27Another painful reminder that Newcastle could look dangerous one week and vulnerable the next,
40:33leaving them right in the mid-table melee after Match Week 31.
40:37With the European chasing pack looking tightly contested, all the way up to Villa in fourth.
40:43At the bottom, Wolves were rejuvenated.
40:47Their win over local rivals Villa was only their second win of the season.
40:52But it was absolutely massive, because they went and backed it up just a week later against Liverpool.
40:59And Wolves have downed the reigning champions of Bolognese!
41:03West Ham were doing better too, as were Leeds and Forest.
41:07So, let's come back to Spurs, shall we?
41:11Who hadn't won in eight games, but now, under new boss Igor Tudor.
41:16Well, things only got worse.
41:19Tudor was in the job for 44 days, only just longer than Postacoglu at Forest.
41:24And in that time, he saw his side lose four times in five matches.
41:29Spurs slipped into serious trouble.
41:31And his final defeat against Forest dragged them right into the mix.
41:36And Spurs, well and truly put away here.
41:39The relegation battle was on.
41:41And Spurs were well and truly in it.
41:44Could their third manager of the season, former Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi, drag them out of it?
41:50Again! Again!
41:52And the end of the season was now looking absolutely massive.
41:59With Arsenal sitting nine points clear in March, you'd be forgiven for thinking that it was only a matter of
42:05time before they were crowned champions.
42:08Well, think again.
42:09The title battle went up a level in April, as we witnessed some huge swings.
42:15Arsenal started match week 32 with a shock defeat at home to Bournemouth.
42:20Alex Scott, who buries it? Bournemouth in front for a second time.
42:25Suddenly, Man City had hope, which they ran with.
42:29Ducco! 3-0 to Manchester City!
42:33And then came the big one.
42:36City against Arsenal at the Etihad.
42:39A win would put Arsenal in real control.
42:42A win for City would pull them right back into it, with a game in hand.
42:47Huge.
42:48With Haaland and Cherki at their very best.
42:51Just to get down for Cherki.
42:52Those twinkle toes!
42:56Longs-leaves arriving.
42:57Haaland!
43:00And suddenly, the title race was alive all over again.
43:07But Arsenal, they wouldn't let it go easily.
43:10City went a step further.
43:12A few days later, scraping past Burnley to go top of the table.
43:16Unbelievably, goals scored.
43:19Call this personified.
43:21But the Gunners responded.
43:23S.A.
43:23That's a beauty.
43:25And the reaction is one of relief as much as joy.
43:30As Arsenal returned to the summit.
43:32With the top two trading blows, there was still everything to play for.
43:37With City breathing down their necks, the pressure was immense at the Emirates.
43:42But Arsenal dealt with it.
43:44With ease.
43:46Their 3-0 win over Fulham extended their lead and did wonders for their goal difference.
43:50With Jocares reminding the fans just what he could do.
43:54Jocares!
43:553-0 Arsenal!
43:57The drama ramped up even more.
44:00As City finally slipped.
44:02In a ridiculous, topsy-turvy game, City scored two late goals to cancel out Everton's second-half surge.
44:10And that will bring them back.
44:12Doku!
44:14Brilliant!
44:15Talk about understated celebration from Guardiola.
44:19It was a massive dent to their title hopes, though.
44:22And breathing space for Arsenal.
44:24It was an hour hence.
44:26Now it's not.
44:27With three games to play, four for City, destiny was well and truly in the hands of the Gunners once
44:33again.
44:34At the bottom, things were becoming more certain.
44:37West Ham earned a huge three points against Wolves, which dragged their relegation rival Spurs into the relegation zone for
44:45the first time all season.
44:47And a week later, it was the Hammers who officially confirmed Wolves' relegation as their draw with Crystal Palace let
44:54them out of reach.
44:56Burnley couldn't save themselves either.
44:59Burnley couldn't save themselves either.
44:59A massive game against under threat Nottingham Forest ended in a 4-1 defeat.
45:07And only a few days later, the Clarets were beaten by Man City to confirm relegation.
45:12After which manager Scott Parker would leave by mutual consent.
45:17So, two relegation spots were gone.
45:19But the fight to avoid the final one was still very much a lie.
45:25Forest were flying.
45:26After those four goals against Burnley, they put five past Sunderland.
45:30And another three past Chelsea.
45:33Scoring 12 in three games and suddenly looking like a side playing with real belief.
45:39There is number three!
45:40West Ham weren't lying down either.
45:43Showing some ridiculous resilience against Everton.
45:47Wilson's there!
45:49A monumental goal for West Ham United!
45:53Till the end, till the end, till the end.
45:55But the good thing is that we don't give up.
45:57And neither were Leeds.
45:58A six-game unbeaten run between matchweeks 30 and 35 included a massive win at Old Trafford.
46:06Noah Okafor at the double!
46:07And Leeds United a two-up inside of half an hour at Manchester United!
46:13And a 3-0 hammering of Wolves that pulled them further from danger.
46:18Which meant that all eyes were looking somewhere else.
46:22Spurs.
46:23Their winless run had stretched to 15 games after throwing away the lead twice against Brighton.
46:29The Xavi Simons.
46:33Xavi Simons' belter was cancelled out by Brighton in the 94th minute.
46:39Drain by Van Hecker.
46:41Ruter!
46:422-2!
46:43And even though they'd finally ended that winless run at Wolves in matchweek 34...
46:48It's steered into the back post!
46:50A huge moment in Tottenham Hotspur's season!
46:52They now were sitting in the relegation zone with four games to go.
46:57For Tottenham Hotspur, it was unthinkable.
46:59But had they found enough to start a turnaround?
47:04Or was that win just a flash in the pan?
47:07Well, they struck a game.
47:09This time with a huge away win against Aston Villa.
47:12Glorious goal!
47:14And a precious goal!
47:16While West Ham's good run took a massive knock away at Brentford.
47:20Spurs could feel something in the air.
47:23And the Hammers were dealt a blow that dragged them back into the relegation zone.
47:28It was now a two-horse race for survival.
47:31And it was going right down to the wire.
47:35Then there was the race for Europe.
47:37Chelsea were struggling big time.
47:40O'Reilly!
47:42Nico O'Reilly does it again!
47:46They went five games without scoring a single goal.
47:49And Liam Rossinia was shown the door.
47:52Five consecutive defeats to nil in the league for the first time since 1912.
47:58They finally broke their goal drought of 565 minutes against Forrest.
48:04Which probably deserved more than to simply stop a very unwanted record.
48:09Joel Pedro!
48:11It is a moment of huge quality.
48:14But it was still a sixth defeat in a row.
48:18And their European hopes were fading fast.
48:22Liverpool, on the other hand, were finishing strongly.
48:25They went on a three-game winning run.
48:28Including a dramatic Merseyside derby win.
48:31Where Mo Salah scored his final goal for the club.
48:34Extraordinary significant chapter in Salah's long goodbye.
48:38And Virgil van Dijk bagged a last gasp winner.
48:41And there it is!
48:43Virgil van Dijk!
48:44But their run was stopped by none other than rivals Manchester United.
48:49Whose win against the Reds confirmed their return to the Champions League.
48:53Meenu!
48:56Kami Meenu!
48:58Re-establishes!
49:00Manchester United's lead!
49:03Bournemouth were flying too.
49:05With teenagers junior Kruppi and January signing Ray-Anne both loving life in front of goal.
49:12Taking them on a 15-game unbeaten run by Matchweek 35.
49:16And that's the clincher!
49:17Another reminder of what a superb job Andoni Iraiola was doing.
49:23Brentford and Brighton were right up there in contention too.
49:26Brentford's form took a hit though.
49:29With five draws in a row across March and April.
49:32But Igor Thiago kept adding to his tally in the hunt for the golden boot.
49:37By the end of Matchweek 35 he was on 22 for the season.
49:41Just three behind Erling Haaland.
49:48The relegation battle was now down to two teams.
49:51West Ham and Spurs.
49:53And the title chase was between Arsenal and Man City.
49:57The next three games were huge.
50:00In Matchweek 36 West Ham hosted none other than league leaders Arsenal.
50:05A massive game at both ends of the table.
50:08Arsenal were desperate for a win.
50:10Because the day before Man City had again closed the gap to only two points.
50:15With a comfortable win against Brentford.
50:17Haaland finds a way to keep Manchester City right in the title race.
50:23So, over to the London Stadium.
50:25Coming you hired.
50:27Arsenal dealt the first blow through Leandro Trossard.
50:30Late, dramatic, ecstatic.
50:34Heading into stoppage time, everything was looking good for the Gunners.
50:38Until...
50:39Ladies corner, goalkeeper forward for it.
50:41Through the hands of his opposite number.
50:43Cleared off the line, but with what?
50:45It's gone in.
50:46There was chaos.
50:48After review.
50:49West Ham at number 19 commits a foul on the goalkeeper.
50:53Final decision.
50:55It's direct free kick.
50:56An absolutely huge decision.
50:59And a hammer blow for West Ham.
51:02Sorry.
51:02That took Arsenal's lead at the top back to five points.
51:06And gave Spurs the chance to extend theirs over West Ham to four in their game against Leeds.
51:13By Massey's tail!
51:15Until a Dominic-Calvert-Lewin penalty pulled Leeds level.
51:20And it could have been worse.
51:23Justine.
51:24It's Sean Longstaff now!
51:26Oh, off the woodwork!
51:27What a save from Kinski.
51:29That right hand, look at that.
51:31So Spurs gained a point on West Ham.
51:34And when the Hammers sank to a 3-1 defeat in their penultimate game of the season against Newcastle.
51:40He sweeps it home!
51:42In spite of this stunner from Tati Castellanos, it was very much advantage Spurs.
51:49A point in either of their final two games would all but mathematically keep them up and send West Ham
51:55down.
51:56But they fell at the first hurdle against Chelsea.
52:02It was all going down to the final day at the bottom.
52:07At the top, it was all about to get very real for Arsenal.
52:11In their penultimate game, the Gunners faced Burnley.
52:14A win feeling like a must to see off the chasing city.
52:18It is time for Arsenal to march towards their moment.
52:25And in a very nervy clash, they claimed all three points.
52:30Great header in! Kai Havard!
52:32It's an Arsenal corner again!
52:37I want to see you soon.
52:39You said, oh, spark!
52:40City now had to win both of their final two games to stay in the title race.
52:46Their first, against the absolutely flying Bournemouth.
52:51Troopi!
52:53Brilliant, brilliant goal!
52:58Oh, and against the post, extraordinary!
53:01Ireland has done it!
53:03They are still alive!
53:05They still have a chance!
53:08Whistling mouth from Anthony Taylor!
53:11Arsenal are the champions!
53:17After 22 years, since Arsene Wenger's fabled Invincibles of 2004,
53:23Mikel Arteta's Arsenal were finally crowned Premier League champions.
53:29Premier League!
53:32Ole, ole, ole, ole!
53:42It was all smiles on the other side of Manchester, as United put three past Nottingham Forest to guarantee third
53:49place.
53:50Their highest league finish since 2023.
53:53It's unbelievable to see you in this place like this.
53:55It's such a special place.
53:57And this season, we've had some big, big days that we've all enjoyed.
54:01Aston Villa and Liverpool faced each other in Match Week 37
54:04in what looked like a Champions League qualification decider.
54:08And Villa more than faced up to the challenge.
54:11Here's McGinn.
54:13That's opted off.
54:15A stellar goal from the skipper.
54:17Next stop, Istanbul for a European final.
54:21But their Europa League final win earned them a place anyway.
54:25A monumental effort for the villains this season.
54:28So, it came down to the final day.
54:32The day of reckoning.
54:33The late spring afternoon where the efforts of autumn and winter are harvested.
54:38This is the final chance to salvage their fate.
54:41Suspended more precariously now than ever before.
54:46At the London Stadium, West Ham put their poor run of form behind them
54:50and did everything they could do to save themselves.
54:53And this for Jarrod Bowen, who's looking to see what's on in terms of support.
54:58Oh, he doesn't need any support.
55:01But João Pelinha's first half goal for Spurs was enough.
55:05And then off the line.
55:07Did he go in?
55:08Yes, it did.
55:10It's Tyree George opening up the angle.
55:12What a save from Kinski.
55:14And that should seal it.
55:18Survival.
55:18They claimed their first home win since the start of December to stay in the Premier League.
55:27Well, there it is.
55:29The nightmare of relegation has become an agonising reality for West Ham United.
55:36Quite literally a hammer blow.
55:41At the top of the table, Arsenal, with a Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain to look forward to,
55:47were rightly enjoying their title celebrations.
56:01While second-placed Man City, who won both the Carabao Cup and the FA Cup,
56:07were saying goodbye to their legendary manager,
56:10the six-time Premier League champion, Pep Guardiola.
56:13Guardiola!
56:16Those are some serious shoes to fill for whoever takes his place,
56:21who will be without the departing Bernardo Silva and John Stones too.
56:29Erling Haaland claimed his third golden boot on the final day,
56:34stopped only once since he came to the Premier League by none other than Mo Salah,
56:39who was also saying his goodbyes over at Anfield as Liverpool secured Champions League football.
56:47Bournemouth had an unbelievable year and went on a crazy 18-game unbeaten run to finish it off.
56:55The longest of any side in the Premier League this season.
56:59What a way to send off their departing manager, Andoni Iraiola.
57:04They qualified for the Europa League, their first European qualification in their entire history.
57:10And incredibly, they will be joined by Sunderland, thanks to their final day win against Chelsea.
57:17Sunderland's place in Europe is confirmed.
57:31After their strong start, Chelsea fans will be left disappointed with their final position.
57:36But with Liverpool legend and former Real Madrid boss Jabby Alonso stepping into the dugout,
57:42they'll be looking forward to a better season next year.
57:45And despite Brighton's final day defeat to Manchester United...
57:49Beautifully worked.
57:50Brian and Bumo, 2-0 Manchester United.
57:52They clung on to qualify for the Conference League ahead of Brentford.
57:58And Bruno Fernandes made history by beating Kevin De Bruyne and Thierry Henry's 20 assists in a season record.
58:06Incredible.
58:06Bruno Fernandes now has his record.
58:10A 21st Premier League assist of the season.
58:15Fulham, Fulham, Newcastle, Everton and Crystal Palace...
58:20How about that?
58:21...all had bright spells across the season, but ultimately just couldn't keep up the pace.
58:26The Eagles will say a fond farewell to their departing manager, Oliver Glasner,
58:32after their Conference League final clash with Rayo Vallecano.
58:35What a time he's had at the club.
58:38And Forrest and Leeds fans will be pretty buoyant as well.
58:45Yes, they had to fight hard, but they showed serious character to finish off the season.
58:52And momentum means everything in this game.
58:55In an incredible season of ups and downs at both ends of the table,
59:01Arsenal finally claimed their fourth Premier League title after 22 years.
