00:00It was the toughest opening in the difficult place in the stadium, especially the quality
00:10of the players, the managers, been tough. Remain an exceptional team, top-class manager,
00:15exceptional team, no doubts. The moments are the moments, the seasons are the seasons,
00:21so I think it revealed the squad, and it does not reveal the squad for one season for many,
00:26many years, so it always remains a good team.
00:30It's another moment for us to see where we are in the development of this team.
00:34We also know the importance of a result on Sunday, but that goes for all the 20 teams
00:40that are playing this weekend in the Premier League. It's the end phase of the season,
00:43so results matter more and more. A very good team that were even able to win yesterday
00:53against the team that we beat during the weekend, not even with their starters,
00:57so that tells you, combined with the game we've played against them, what a force City still is.
01:06Well, they are obviously extremely competitive, really well coached, they have very good individuals,
01:12very clear identity of what they want to do, where they want to take the game, and they are very good
01:17at it. You could only see the results that they had against the top side, so we know what to expect,
01:22but we need to deliver that tomorrow. Another opportunity to win, to be better than the position,
01:29and then the right to win the game, that's it. I've watched Rob's team recently. They actually put
01:34in a very good performance against Bournemouth, and we're unfortunate not to get anything out of the game.
01:39I thought they played very, very well. They put in some very positive performances in their last few games,
01:44but the biggest thing for me, as the manager now with this group, I want to see a consistency
01:51in our levels of performance, of engagement, of intensity in every game that we play. So for me,
01:57that is something I've spoken to the group about. The next game is the most important game,
02:01and Wolves is another huge game for our season. Well, they certainly bring a challenge. I think you can
02:05see, especially the way they finished the game the other day. They've had, over a period of time,
02:15players injured and ins and outs and a lot of changes to the team, which makes things a lot more
02:19challenging and a lot more difficult from their perspective. But getting players back in a slightly
02:25different game to maybe what we've played over recent weeks in some ways, we're looking forward to it.
02:29You know, we're in a good place. The boys have worked well again this week. Again, feet on the ground,
02:37let's not get carried away with what's going on, but it's about what's next again. So a big challenge
02:43ahead. We're looking forward to it. Fulham have done really well. They didn't start the season awfully well,
02:48but they've certainly picked up. Marco's done a great job, as he's done at all his clubs,
02:53and they'll, you know, they're a good side for them. So it'll not be an easy game. Hopefully we can try
02:59and keep it going. And, you know, I've always said, I hope we could get one more go at that,
03:03where we could maybe jump into the top six or seven somewhere along in the running here. And I hope we
03:08can hang in and give ourselves that opportunity, maybe in a month or so's time.
