00:00Now, forever, together.
00:26My name is Elio Le Fleur, and I'm from Paris, France.
00:31I was a wrestling fan since I was 10.
00:35I started really young, or I went to a school in France
00:38when I was 14, beginning my wrestling journey.
00:42And now I'm here 10 years later, and still enjoy the process.
00:53I think that my style is very different from the others.
00:56Like my move and what I do is very innovative.
00:59I try to do stuff that no one's doing.
01:01So when people see things, it was like, wow, this was an Elio move.
01:07When you come here, you'll start again from the beginning.
01:10So it was kind of hard in the beginning, and I was just like, I want to go.
01:13And then when I knew I was on LFG, I was like, OK, it's time to show the world who
01:17I am.
01:18They're going to see something very different that they never saw before, and I hope they're going to enjoy it.
01:32We're out here to be decent. We're here to be great.
01:34I know you guys can do the move, but now make them feel something.
01:39You don't do what you want to do. You do what they want to see.
01:42We don't have to wait to see who gets called up. They can go at any time.
01:45The future is indeed now here on LFG.
01:56Guys, good to see you all. We're back. The LFG train keeps rolling.
02:00K.O. is excited.
02:02K.O., how did K.O. do on commentary? What do you think?
02:05Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
02:08Big Joseph Lockside, Jeremy Borash, and we're joined this week by one of the only Kevin Owens.
02:14You know, I've always had an interest in doing commentary in the first place.
02:16These up-and-comers, they have to be willing to have an open mind at all times.
02:20I'll do it as many times as they allow me to do it until they get tired of it.
02:23K.O., what do you think about doing commentary for the first two matches?
02:26Yeah, I hate it.
02:27You got it in you?
02:28Look, I'm coming for the job.
02:29What? You coming?
02:30It's cool, though. It's cool. All right? It's cool.
02:35Maddie, I got a match for you. I'm excited about this one.
02:38Carly Bright versus Bailey Humphries.
02:40Awesome.
02:41Bailey, I want to feel like she's not afraid to be in there and run through her offensive moveset,
02:47and she's not taking care of Carly.
02:49This girl is like no other girl I've ever seen before, which is extraordinary.
02:53Let's make it work for her. You know what I mean?
02:55Where people see her and go, I'll never forget watching her.
02:58I was very impressed with Carly the last match that I watched her have.
03:01I thought she took direction really well. She's got a great attitude.
03:04And hey, it's nice to be a nice person, but when the bell rings, tell me who you are.
03:08Show me your guts. Tell me why you want to be here.
03:10Moving on to the next match. Booker, Elijah Holyfield versus Malik Blade.
03:15A new face on LFG, and this is someone who is coming off an injury.
03:20He's been on NXT before.
03:22He's going to try a new gimmick, new character. I'll call him a high-flyer.
03:28Blade, he does have talent. I think it just needs to be brought out of him.
03:32He's going to be in the ring with a potential star in Elijah Holyfield,
03:36and he's going to have to show up. It's just that simple,
03:38because you definitely don't want to be showing up by a guy who just got here.
03:43Final match in a match I'm really excited about. Mike Deruta. Well, I think I don't really like him, man.
03:48This is the kid from Belgium? This is the kid from Belgium. He's a big athletic kid who's a sponge.
03:54He just wants to learn. He grew up in the business. His dad was a promoter. He's not afraid to
03:57be a heel.
03:58I like that. And this next cat, Elio LeFleur.
04:02This is someone that Sean has seen, has heard of, wants to see what he does under the biggest lights,
04:08the biggest stage that he's been on. K.O., you're going to work with him?
04:11The big thing for me that I need to see out of Elio is he's got a mask on.
04:15How are you going to show me that you're angry, fired up, hurt, using your hands?
04:19Right. But I think these two are going to show out.
04:22Yeah. So I work with Mike, K.O. works with Elio, and we're going to bring them together, work with
04:27both of them.
04:28Collectively, let's put on a banger. Cool.
04:30We're going to try it differently this time. I want buy-in. LFG on 3-2-1.
04:34I'm always the first one there. LFG. I just want to hold his hand.
04:37Come on, guys. You got soft hands, and they're warm.
04:39I just can't do it. I can't.
04:42Jesus, dude. Before the end of the season, you guys are going to touch our hands, okay?
04:49This week's coaching is underway, and Natalia gets her first look at the powerful Bailey Humphrey.
04:57Wow. That looked great. Yeah, what a- what a pin is there.
05:03I'm like, oh, my God, I'm scared.
05:06Bailey is amazing. I mean, look at her. She's an anomaly. Like, nobody is built like her.
05:14I trust Bailey with my complete life.
05:17Your thoughts are up and down. Yeah, I love that. That looks great.
05:21Jump with it. Yeah.
05:24I think it's great, and I feel like both of you, especially as athletes, you can really,
05:27really execute the moves. Yes.
05:29Now, what I would like to see, and if Rowan wasn't built in the day,
05:31Right. But I would like to see be a little bit- if Bailey's doing this, make a little noise.
05:37Yes. If I punch you, and I'm making noise, and she's selling with noise.
05:40Right. If I'm going, ah! And then he's hitting me back.
05:43Oh! You know what I mean? Like, I know you guys can do the moves,
05:46but now make you feel something. It's getting good.
05:48Natty's a really fun person to work with. Whenever she talks or whenever she says something,
05:53it honestly can get you really fired up and kind of in the moment.
05:55Who am I, mow you down? This is literally-
05:57I was like, damn, like, I'm ready to fight now.
06:01Natty's the best. She's strong. She's powerful. She's aggressive. And one of the main things she said
06:05this week is, intensity and aggression never goes out of style. And so, working with her is helping me
06:11bring that out. It felt so real where the point where, like, Bailey got in my face and I was
06:18like,
06:19oh, like, I definitely want to back up because it felt like we had real beef.
06:22When the bell rings, show me who the you are. If I'm not interested in the first couple seconds,
06:26I'm playing on my phone. I'm ordering something on Amazon. Okay, you guys work on it.
06:33Thank you, Matt.
06:39It's time for action from the Women's Division on LFG.
06:43The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, from Katusha, Wisconsin,
06:50Carly Bright. Ah, JB, it's just hard not to smile when Carly Bright comes out.
06:59Carly Bright, Wisconsin native, cheerleader, done well here at the Performance Center looking for big
07:05things. Big Joseph alongside Jeremy Borash and back for a second week. Kevin Owens, you liked it so
07:12nice. You want to do it twice? Absolutely. I mean, you guys also told me I had to do it.
07:16Well,
07:17I didn't tell you that, but I thought you were backed by a popular demand. It was my popular demand.
07:20I'm the one I wanted to do it. Let's get the action started right now on LFG.
07:39And their opponent, from Shearer, Arizona,
07:45Bayley Humphrey.
07:47Oh, it will certainly be a tall, tough task for Carly Bright. Jeremy,
07:53Bayley Humphrey's somebody we saw totally take over LFG last year. Someone the Undertaker
07:59was very high on. He certainly continues to check in. In fact,
08:08she seems in a good mood. Bayley recently trained with the Undertaker in Texas a few weeks back.
08:15She told me all about it. Had a great time down there with Michelle. Hello to Michelle and
08:20Taker, of course, big fans of Bayley. And we're going to see how much development here in season
08:26three there is left for this woman, because I have a feeling big things are in store for Bayley Humphrey.
08:32Look, when it comes to Bayley Humphrey, she's used to throwing bodies of cheerleaders around.
08:37Carly Bright, who is a former cheerleader in her own right,
08:43may find herself getting lawn darted around this ring before too long.
08:49She's going to have to use some speed and some quickness. Well, maybe not.
08:55That was awesome.
09:00Well, you've also been in the ring with with much bigger, stronger competitors. I don't
09:04necessarily know if Carly's strategy is working right now. Well, so far, it's definitely not,
09:08because she keeps getting her face slammed into the ground. But let's see if she can pivot.
09:16Well, I'll tell you what, Carly Bright has so much heart, so much resiliency. Oh, there we go. Going
09:21to the knee. That's a good one. And then a drop kick right to the shoulder.
09:26Bayley still not going down. And look at Carly right now, trying to figure out what to do next,
09:30charging in. Carly trying to go. She did not negotiate her way free instead, just gets dropped
09:37across the top rope. LFG action continues after this.
09:44We are back on LFG and Carly Bright is in a bad way against Bayley Humphrey.
09:52Carly Bright, what I don't think she's factoring in is how much heart and I say endurance she has.
09:58She's got some toughness in her and don't let her cheerleader happiness fool you. She can actually
10:04get taken out and come back to fight. I see what you're saying. You know,
10:08it's a big week here on LFG. Obviously, Kevin Owens joining us on commentary. And JB,
10:12a big main event still to come. Boy, looking forward to our main event. We're going to go
10:16inside the arena and what kind of a turn of events we've seen, how many careers we've changed
10:21and seen change at courtesy of Shawn Michaels after those main events here on LFG. It's been one week
10:26after another. Just amazing, amazing things have happened to some incredible athletes.
10:35When you were in NXT, even though it was a short period of time, and all those that you were
10:39in
10:40NXT with, do you guys maybe looking back wish you had an opportunity like LFG to open that door that
10:44much quicker? To be honest, I'm almost thankful that we didn't have it because this is the amount
10:49of pressure these these girls and guys are under to kind of learn their craft in front of millions of
10:55people. You know what I mean? It's it's a whole different story.
11:04Fought the moonsault into the cover and a kick out. And that's something that we haven't really
11:07dove into yet. This season, JB, is the pressure that these athletes are understanding. Moonsault
11:13connects another cover, another hook of a leg, another power out that it is any moment.
11:17Every match matters so much. One slip could cost you months, years. Not only that, but being used to
11:24being in front of the cameras at this stage of your career is something that's obviously different.
11:29Oh, look at this. What?
11:38I mean, Bailey just sat up like the Undertaker.
11:41With a human being in her in her arms, no less.
11:46That scream.
11:51And now looking for, oh, there's that innovative power from Bailey Humphrey.
11:59Here is your winner, Bailey Humphrey.
12:05Well, now you got to think and you have to imagine what has Shawn Michaels seen.
12:11I'm sure he's talked to the Undertaker about Bailey Humphrey. However we want to look at it,
12:18Carly Bright gave it her best shot KO, but in the end, Bailey Humphrey stands tall here on LFG.
12:25He sure does.
12:44That whole beginning, I felt it. You had lock up. I liked how you went into the buckle,
12:47and then you moved over to the ropes. That beginning set the tone. It set the tone that
12:55she's a bitch. She's a threat. She's dangerous. To me, we're such a mountain to climb. That's scary
13:01when you do that scream. Yeah. It's like a war cry. Yeah. It's a very animalistic thing. For sure.
13:05Yeah. You guys got both got very vocal.
13:12But there were so many great things. It was a simple little story. I loved it. I thought it was
13:16so good. Thank you. You're like, you're enjoying so much. Yay. Thanks, daddy.
13:21Yes, she is. That honestly like made my heart burst because one, I can't let myself down in the match,
13:29but also too, I think something more is I can't let these legends down either because it would just
13:34feel like such an embarrassment. So she came back through and she was smiling. She gave us a big
13:38hug and couldn't ask for anything more. So here are some of the notes that I took down as you
13:44guys were
13:44working. I feel like some of the bumps you were taking, we've got to find a way to make more
13:49noise
13:49on them. And I don't know if you're landing flush. I know the move looks like she was giving you
13:53those
13:53short arm tackles. I didn't hear anything when you landed. Try to attach a cell to your offense.
14:04How do I really make them believe that like my ribs broken or my shoulders dislocated or my fingers
14:09are broken. Something you're fighting through it. And I felt like, and I felt this after the match,
14:15like we kind of made it a rustling story. Whereas we could have made this like real and less is
14:21more.
14:21We talk about it all the time. And I just feel like the people are going to feel a lot
14:25more sympathy for her rather than throwing flippers and clubs and stuff like that, that they're going
14:30to see every match, but they're not going to see this trying to slam you to hell. You know what
14:35I'm
14:35saying? This is a good rep though, dude. I appreciate you guys working so hard. I appreciate you doing
14:39this, dude. All right. Proud of you guys. Thank you. Bloom also was pretty happy with it. The biggest
14:45critique is like me staying big. And he said, for me, less is more meaning like I don't have to
14:52go
14:52crazy and I don't have to do 70,000 different moves. Oh yeah. I was like, you know what? You're
14:56right.
14:59Tonight's next match features one future great who's well known to Booker T and another who has yet to
15:05make an impact. Malik. How long you been around here now? Uh, four years. How many conversations
15:14have we had? Maybe two. I equate that to zero. All right. My name is Malik Blade. I've been pro
15:22wrestling for about eight years now. And here comes Malik the Freak Blade. I came to the PC in 2021
15:30and I've been here since then. An incredible athlete with a 40-inch vertical leap in Malik
15:35Wayne. It's the reason why **** hasn't happened a lot faster. All right. I know he's a guy that has
15:43been around here for quite some time and still been trying to figure this thing out. Does he have the
15:50ability to learn this? Booker is on my Mount Rushmore. To get even a little bit of something
15:57from Booker T is, I hold that with me forever. Bang. All right. Okay. Instead of, instead of the lock
16:05up, give me a boot. Bang. Stop it. All right. Yeah. You stop him right before we go. Yeah. Yeah.
16:12Yeah.
16:12I'm very excited to work with Booker again. He gave me so much game and I feel like the more
16:17I was
16:17working with him, the more I started to understand what he meant. After the pin, how do I get him?
16:21I can just
16:21pick him up and throw him to the corner at that point. Exactly. Spear him and then same spot,
16:24push him and then miss the spirit too. Exactly. You don't do what you want to do.
16:28You do what they want to see. You know, I have my needs that I want to do, but I
16:32was always thinking
16:33about what they wanted to see because they had to feel a certain way when they was watching it.
16:40But it's the best **** feeling in the world when you know that you're like the puppet master and you're
16:48making them do everything you want them to do. That's what wrestling is.
16:54Booker knows how to add that extra swag and extra charisma I need when I wrestle, man. So I know
16:59when we get in there, it's going to be a banger.
17:04Let's make their final preparations. The legends are joined backstage by WWE superstar,
17:10Apollo Crews, who has stopped by for a closer look at Elijah Holyfield.
17:15When I first saw him in the ring, I thought this guy really reminded me of myself. So I decided
17:19to
17:20talk to Matt Bloom and see if I can see what he's about.
17:35The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Atlanta, Georgia,
17:41winging at 234 pounds, Elijah Holyfield.
17:50Well, we are set to kick off LFG in a major way with Elijah Holyfield. And Kevin, I would love
17:59to know,
18:00how would you get ready to fight someone who is a puncher, is a boxer? How would you counter someone
18:07like Holyfield? I think I'd go straight for biting his ears off, which has proven to some degree of
18:14success, you know, in the past. Not to him necessarily. Too soon. Too soon. It's been 25 years.
18:22I'm still not over it, Dale.
18:25And his opponent, Trev Horn Lando, Florida, winging at 200 pounds, Marley.
18:32He's got a great look.
18:40As someone who has gone through the Performance Center and then has gone on to main event of
18:45WrestleMania, has gone on to be a universal champion, what would your advice be to Malik Blake?
18:51Well, as far as Malik goes, he's been here for a while. And I was blessed and cursed with the
18:57fact
18:57that I didn't get to stay at the Performance Center as long as I honestly wish I could have. But
19:01at the
19:01same time, I say cursed because being here for too long or what feels like too long could also be,
19:07you know, a disadvantage mentally. I would hope that he's not taking the fact that he's still here
19:12after three years as a as a negative. You know what I mean? I think you'd want to use that
19:17as your
19:17positive. That's what I'm talking about. Back up. Back up off me, son. Malik's also correct me if I'm
19:24wrong. Malik is also coming off of being part of the tag team for quite a while. Now he's in
19:29singles
19:29action, you know. And I'm glad you bring that up because a lot of people that may be at home
19:34watching right now on A&E might just go like, well, it's still the same thing. There's a big
19:38difference of being a singles competitor and a tag team star, is there not? Yeah, definitely.
19:43Oh! Well, that didn't work out for him. And a kick out. There's just nobody to rely on. You know,
19:48when you're in a tag team match, if things get too hairy out there, you try to tag out, hope
19:52for the
19:53best. But you can't do that in a singles match, obviously. And if you've been used to relying on
19:57someone else for that long, that's also something that could play against you.
20:05Very explosive. He's very explosive.
20:09Let's remember, too, this is a man who's coming back from tearing his left bicep.
20:13He was out for eight months over this, and Malik Blade's got the right attitude. He's going in,
20:17taking it to the sky, going with a quicker, faster approach. And that's how you've got to take down
20:21a guy like Elijah Holyfield. And JB, you've been around the Performance Center a lot, day in and day
20:25out, more so than myself or Kevin Owens. You've got to wonder if some of the coaches,
20:29led by head coach Matt Bloom, have been talking to Malik Blade about showing a more aggressive
20:34side. Well, you've got to use the tools that are given to you, and obviously they are developed
20:38here each and every week at the Performance Center. Malik Blade is well aware that he is a
20:43great high-flying athlete, and to use that to his advantage is his best bet.
20:52You know, and Kevin, you have to like when a younger athlete that is still growing into
20:57themselves can find that almost killer instinct, if you will.
21:01Yeah, I mean, you have no choice but to get there eventually. Otherwise, you're, you know,
21:05it's sink or swim when we get in there, and if you don't have that aggressive side,
21:09you're going to sink, you know what I mean?
21:19Oh, look, they're going deep into the bag of tricks here in this matchup on LFG, because
21:24it's all about JB getting to the main event, all about getting to an opportunity to impress,
21:29but it also only takes one match, one moment to change Shawn Michaels' opinion and maybe
21:34award you a contract to NXT.
21:39It's amazing what we've seen thus far this season, what's already happened to the careers
21:43of Kendall Gray, happened to the careers of Drake Moreau, and Elijah Holyfield.
21:48Oh, it's just one uppercut away.
21:50Good night.
21:52His daddy told him that.
21:54I told him that.
21:56I told him that.
21:59Elijah Holyfield!
22:01Knockout power, sudden impact, and that loaded right fist of Elijah Holyfield.
22:10LFG action continues right after this.
22:16Match with Elijah and Malik went very well.
22:20I think they went out there and they touched upon a lot of things that we talked about.
22:25From a structural perspective, I really thought it was sound.
22:29I thought, Malik, I thought you learned a lot tonight that perhaps, you know, you wasn't
22:37even thinking about before.
22:39I thought the match was amazing.
22:40I thought everything we executed exactly how they wanted.
22:42Elijah really had a great showcase.
22:44Elijah, that power slam spot.
22:47Yes, sir.
22:49That center line is very, very important.
22:51You can never be on that center line waiting.
22:56You got to be.
22:59Got you.
22:59Got me.
23:00Yes, yes, yes.
23:00I need you here.
23:02Up the bang.
23:03I need all of it.
23:04Because that's one of my pet peeves.
23:06Yes, sir.
23:07As far as wrestling goes and making it look a certain way.
23:11I think it's another step in the right direction, but I still ain't where I really want to be yet.
23:15Some of my footwork and spacing and stuff like that, I need to continue to work on.
23:18And I want to work with him again.
23:20I can work with Book every time, man.
23:21I love it.
23:22How did the punch look?
23:23Punch look great.
23:23I just wish you the...
23:24Yeah!
23:26I need that action.
23:28You know what I mean?
23:28Good job.
23:31I love it.
23:34I thought he had that certain energy about him.
23:37Just raw emotion, raw power.
23:40So I was impressed.
23:41I was impressed and I was curious to know more.
23:43And then there's things that you figure out for yourself that work.
23:45Things that don't work.
23:46So stay in tune, too.
23:48You know, use that intuition.
23:49He said he enjoyed the match and he just said, just keep going, keep working.
23:52And he said, you know, he might give me some tips and we might get together sometime.
23:55So hopefully that happens.
23:57Keep it up, guys.
23:58Appreciate you.
23:58Pull that out.
23:59I will.
24:02How you doing?
24:03Good.
24:04Let me hear some feedback.
24:06Everybody's saying I need to do...
24:08Show something's coming for the other guy.
24:10But I'm just still trying to figure out what...
24:11Yeah, absolutely.
24:12...big enough to just, like, let people know.
24:14But not, like, looking too weird, either.
24:16I don't give a s*** about weird, dude.
24:18Listen, weird might be the one you end up going with, all right?
24:21But I need you to try stuff, man.
24:22And I see you getting more comfortable to try stuff.
24:25But you got to show that thing, man.
24:28Malik, today I felt like you ran the play for his story.
24:31But how does Malik Blade fit into this story?
24:34I want to see Malik Blade get better at something today.
24:37And Malik Blade's good, man.
24:39But, like, I need you to step out of that.
24:41Like, just good.
24:41I want to make you great, man.
24:43I'm a big believer in one person teaches, two people learn.
24:46So while you're helping him out in there and he's learning, you'll be learning as well.
24:49All right.
24:50Nice rep, man.
24:51Thank you, sir.
24:51Stay the course.
24:52Yes, sir.
24:52Appreciate you.
24:52Hey, maybe light the fuse or something.
24:54Like, I'm just, like...
24:55Yeah.
24:56You start showing it, like, throw everything against the wall.
25:01It might be stupid as f***, but stupid might turn into something.
25:04Yes.
25:04All right?
25:05Stay the course.
25:06All right, brother.
25:11Hello, man.
25:11Hello, sir.
25:12How are you?
25:12Good to see you.
25:13Elliot.
25:13All right.
25:14Nice to meet you.
25:14I'm Kevin.
25:15So how's your transition been the way we do things here?
25:18I like it because, like, we learn different stuff every day.
25:21They just want to work more on my emotion because it's hard.
25:24Yeah, with the mask.
25:25With your emotion with the mask.
25:26Yeah.
25:26It's just emoting more and just...
25:28Exactly.
25:28Okay.
25:29Being more mad.
25:30The strike I get should make me more mad and be more emotional.
25:33Just adding grit to what you have.
25:34Yes, exactly.
25:35Elliot seems like a very nice guy.
25:37You know, he's kind of got this reserve kind of air about him, which I think maybe that's
25:41why he wears a mask, you know?
25:42But obviously, if you're wearing a mask, you have to use your body language to try to communicate
25:47with people what you're feeling because you don't have your facial expressions to do it.
25:51And that was one of the things that Bloom wanted, you know, him to work on.
25:55My opponent is Mike Deruder from Belgium.
25:58We know each other since the Indies.
26:01He's really, like, my special opponent.
26:04And I know we have a great chemistry together.
26:06But this is really the first time that people are going to see it in WWE.
26:10Hello, Mike.
26:11So, wait, where is your accent from?
26:13From Belgium, sir.
26:15Tell me about you.
26:16Second generation pro wrestler?
26:18Mm-hmm.
26:18So, my father...
26:19Who is your dad?
26:20Patrick Deruder.
26:21Who are you really doing this for, honestly?
26:24For me, of course.
26:24You definitely want to be a pro wrestler.
26:26Yes.
26:26This is your life.
26:27To be a WWE superstar, not a pro wrestler, but...
26:30That's a great answer.
26:31Today, pro wrestling, for me, is just a guy who can do some flip, no more aura.
26:36If you have the physique, the aura, everything after will look so cool because you are so cool.
26:43So, Mike, about tonight, the high-flying friendship...
26:46Yes, he's the guy who's flying everywhere.
26:49You've wrestled him before.
26:50Yes, a lot.
26:51Do you feel like you have a good chemistry with him?
26:53Yes, one of the best I have in my career.
26:55Me and Elio have faced each other all around the world, all over Europe, even in Japan.
27:01And it was the best partner for me to show to the world who I am.
27:08All right, Elio and Mike, why don't you guys show us what you have already?
27:15In the beginning, we want to play a little bit of size difference because it's, like, bigger than me.
27:20So, our idea was, like, having a big lockup.
27:23So, right off the bat, I've got to ask you, you talked about the size difference.
27:27Let me ask you, Kevin, is there a size difference here?
27:29A perception?
27:30No, it's not perceivable.
27:31Like, at the naked eye, you're more muscular, but he's a bit taller.
27:37When you said he's bigger than me, I was like, well, is he?
27:40You may think you're bigger than him, and you might agree because he's got a little bit more mass.
27:44But from the people sitting right here to all the way up in the 300 section, you're the same size.
27:51Perception is reality.
27:52When you see Mike and Elio side by side, they are the same height.
27:58Elio might even have an inch on him.
28:01Fans might just go, oh, it's not that much bigger.
28:04Don't we see the 35-pound difference between him and me?
28:07I don't want to hurt your ego, but not really.
28:10I know that Mike were hurt when Kevin said that we look the same.
28:15Can I...
28:15You can do whatever you want, but we're trying to...
28:19Just because, yes, my ego is like...
28:20Zip it.
28:21Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry.
28:23We're trying to tell you about perception.
28:26On a scale, there might be a 35-pound difference.
28:29In reality, there's none.
28:31I took it personally because he don't even know the artwork.
28:36I have cute to look like that.
28:38All the diet and diet and days and days and days of sacrifice to look like that.
28:43You're more muscular, for sure.
28:45You look great.
28:46Just, you know, you should feel good about yourself.
28:49I think we hurt his feelings a little bit.
28:51Me and Bubba were both like, you're not that much bigger.
28:54But he looks great.
28:56So does Elio.
28:57When we, like, explained the match to them, I can see in their eyes, they were like, what are they
29:04doing?
29:07I mean, it all sounds great.
29:09There's a couple of things that I, that stuck out to me and logistically might not work.
29:13But let's see.
29:15We both understand that you need to go out there and do it yourself and either live or die by
29:21what you've come up with.
29:23Just a little question, Kevin.
29:24When you say there are people who are in the match, do we have a lot?
29:28It's not saying that it's bad.
29:29Are you convinced that it's like that?
29:30Yes, of course.
29:31But I wanted to see if it was possible to tell me.
29:35Sorry, I just realized we're speaking French.
29:37I just kind of fell into it.
29:38They just wanted me to tell them what I would do differently.
29:40But I really don't want to sway them, right?
29:43Oui?
29:45All right, we're good.
29:46Just do it your way.
29:48And we'll, we'll talk after.
29:51With doors open and fans piling in, the two European main eventers get ready for tonight's showcase.
30:00Coach, can you not see the same difference with the respect, but you need glasses.
30:05Yeah, even, even me, even me when they say we are the same size, I was like.
30:11What's your number one job tonight?
30:12So special in being mad.
30:14Show your aggression.
30:15Show your struggle.
30:16Yes.
30:16Okay, what's your number one job tonight?
30:18Show off and be the best version of myself.
30:20Good.
30:21Don't come back here saying, oh, I think I could have did better.
30:23No.
30:24Go do your best now.
30:25Yes.
30:26Yeah.
30:28It's another week and it's another opportunity for our aspiring superstars to shine.
30:34Welcome to Legends and Future Greats.
30:37Welcome to the main event.
30:38Welcome in ringside.
30:40Big Joseph alongside Jeremy Boras.
30:42And again, every single week we talk about it.
30:44It's a huge opportunity for two superstars to take that next step.
30:49I mean, look what's already happened this season.
30:51It's season three.
30:52All-ups already.
30:53Going to NXT already.
30:55Who's going to be next?
30:56Could it be one of the two combatants in our main event?
30:59We're about to find out.
31:00We're going international on this one.
31:01It's our main event on LFG.
31:22The following contest is scheduled for 1-4.
31:34And this is a French luchador who has come stateside, who has come to the WWE and the performance center.
31:43Mike DeRuiter.
31:43Mike DeRuiter is set to make his LFG debut next.
31:50There you see the Belgian powerhouse.
31:54Mike DeRuiter making his way to the ring.
32:25And his opponent from Brussels belt.
32:26WWE because these two international superstars have been plucked from Europe, brought here to the performance center.
32:33And that's an amazing thing.
32:35Walking through these doors, you never know who you're going to see or where they came from.
32:40But everybody that walks through those doors has a story and a story to tell.
32:44These two men are about to tell a story for us here in our main event of LFG.
32:48Both very different backgrounds.
32:50But both have that same goal.
32:52And that's to make it to NXT.
32:54Courtesy of the Heartbreak Kids, Shawn Michaels and Coach Matt Bloom here at the performance center.
32:57And these two are, I think, ripe for the picking.
32:59You know, we talk about the European style.
33:02You start thinking about those that have had success in recent memory here in the WWE.
33:06Think about a former world champion, Gunther.
33:09Think about someone who defeated John Cena in his very last match.
33:12You go to a former United States champion, former NXT champion, Elia Dragunov as well.
33:18You just take a look at all the men who state claim over in Europe.
33:21You think about other superstars as well.
33:23And this is that next wave of international superstars.
33:27Well, and it's that ability. It's the agility.
33:30It's the things you haven't seen before.
33:32You know, as they've honed their craft elsewhere and brought it to the performance center where they take it to
33:37a whole new level.
33:38And that's the beautiful thing. Look at this.
33:41Elia on the floor.
33:50And this is someone who began training JV back at the age of 16 years old.
33:58And you did say something earlier that was very correct.
34:00But I want a touchdown. It's going to the air.
34:03Nice catch.
34:04Talk about style. How about power?
34:06How about power?
34:08How about Miser Ruder?
34:13And that's the kind of agility.
34:15And I dare say just the power, the strength that he has, that he possesses.
34:18But also, he can move like a luchador.
34:21And if we're going to get to see that, if we can see what not only he brings to the
34:24table from the power standpoint,
34:26but also from that high-flying ability that he has, I can't help but think.
34:31Shawn Michaels has to be salivating at the fact that these two are here in this ring and looking for
34:36that opportunity to get to NXT.
34:37And that's what I want to talk about.
34:38Something you brought up at the start of our main event here was if you think back to week number
34:42one,
34:44season debut here of season three, what about what happened to Kendall Gray?
34:48I mean, never before in three seasons we've been doing this show has somebody had that kind of a skyrocket
34:54effect on their career.
34:55Just one match in front of Shawn Michaels.
34:58The sky is the limit for not only Kendall Gray, but I'd say for Mike DeRuiter and for Ithiel LaFleur.
35:03So far, so good, though.
35:05Great.
35:06You can tell they've worked with each other a lot, eh?
35:08They said in Europe they had a whole bunch.
35:11Got it on a bunch of times.
35:15Oh, my word!
35:18Check his jaw!
35:20The official said he's okay, but he might be eating through a straw for a month after that.
35:24Take another look.
35:25Wow!
35:27Wow!
35:35That might have just fired up the French luchador.
35:43Going back and forth.
35:45Look, that might have woken up.
35:47Elia!
35:47Sometimes it has an effect.
35:49Oh, look at this.
35:49It's that shot that wakes you up.
35:51And look at these.
35:51Look at this.
35:52What a combination swinging for the fences.
35:55Not going to back down.
35:56He obviously is maybe fighting on some pure adrenaline right now.
36:00Charging back in.
36:01Pace is starting to quicken.
36:03E!
36:05E!
36:06E!
36:06E!
36:06E!
36:06E!
36:07E!
36:07E!
36:07E!
36:07E!
36:07E!
36:07E!
36:07E!
36:30I don't necessarily know what they're chanting right now,
36:33but whatever it is, it is firing up Elio.
36:40And looking to take it high risk one more time.
36:43Big knee right to the jaw.
36:45That could have been the knockout blow.
36:47Hook in both legs.
36:48And that right shoulder, JB, just getting off the mat.
36:52Well, so far, so good for both men competing here tonight.
36:56In our main event, will one of them catch the eye?
36:59Will both of them catch the eye of Shawn Michaels?
37:02And looking to get that next spot on NXT.
37:04That's what we're all about here on LNG, getting that next level.
37:13As the power again on display.
37:15Oh, counter.
37:16Hook in Rana.
37:17Shoulders down.
37:18And another near fall.
37:19I don't know how he was able to kick out.
37:21Oh.
37:23Inside out goes Elio.
37:26Take another look.
37:27Feel the impact.
37:31Massive clothesline.
37:32Could have just turned the complexion of this match.
37:35Whoa, whoa, whoa.
37:35JB, what's he thinking?
37:36No way.
37:41Take into the air with ease.
37:44The future is indeed now here on LFG.
37:48LFG!
37:49LFG!
37:50LFG!
37:51Come on.
37:52What did you do?
37:53Barely.
37:54Like, did you just awesome?
37:55Show him back in, right?
37:56Love being shown.
37:57Oh, that's wise, actually.
37:59Oh, maybe it wasn't.
38:00Ooh.
38:01One, two, one.
38:05Wow.
38:05One more time.
38:06Let's see it.
38:07From the top.
38:08Look at this.
38:10Mike DeRuiter.
38:11And look, Elio was rolling away to Rooter.
38:13Didn't even blink an eye.
38:15He said, forget it.
38:16I'm not going to go five feet.
38:17I'm going to go damn near 15.
38:19Well, we told you about the power.
38:20We saw that displayed right away in the match.
38:22But as we go on here, how about the high-flying ability?
38:27Oh, oh.
38:28Trying to get to that top rope.
38:29Nice job by Elio.
38:31One, two, three, four.
38:35Let's go.
38:35Ooh.
38:37Ooh.
38:38Are you kidding?
38:43And now look who's standing.
38:45And now look who's flying.
38:47450, able to land on his feet.
38:48Roll through.
38:48Elio back up.
38:49Charging in.
38:49Ducks to clothesline.
38:50Picking up the pace one more time.
38:52And what the hell was that, JB?
38:56One, two, three.
38:57And it was very effective.
39:00That was really good.
39:01That was really good.
39:01Nice.
39:02Here is your winner, Elio LaFleur.
39:07Innovative offense.
39:09Picking up the win.
39:12Certainly we can say not to be cheesy about it.
39:16A statement made by the French luchador here tonight.
39:20Give credit to both these men.
39:21But how about, have you ever seen anything like this, JB, in all your years in this great sport?
39:26Never seen that before.
39:28That's innovative.
39:30I bet you're seeing some smiles backstage.
39:32These two impressed tonight.
39:34Mike DeRuiter, congratulations.
39:36Elio LaFleur, congratulations.
39:39Our main event here on LFG.
39:44Good stuff.
39:45Good job, guys.
39:46Thank you very much.
39:47Thank you very much.
39:47You adjusted really well.
39:48Thank you very much.
39:49Appreciate it.
39:49Want to talk to you real quick?
39:50Yes.
39:51Yes, sir.
39:51Look, a French luchador is something that's very unique.
39:55It's a style that I want to bring here in NXT.
39:59And so what we're going to do now is we're going to move you into NXT right away.
40:03No way.
40:03All right.
40:03Yes.
40:04Still got a lot to work on, but I think you're going to be a busy man.
40:07From this moment on, you're going to be part of the NXT roster.
40:10Get ready because the work's going to start.
40:12Yes.
40:12I'm in the works for me.
40:13All right.
40:13You got it.
40:14Thank you very much.
40:15Thank you, sir.
40:15Hell of a job.
40:16Good stuff.
40:19I'm officially a WWE superstar working in NXT.
40:24And what can I say?
40:26That's what I wanted my whole life.
40:27And we're going for it.
40:30Merci beaucoup, Cyril.
40:32I just wanted to say in English.
40:34Cyril, thank you very much.
40:36And what you saw tonight was just we did everywhere in the world.
40:42And this is just the beginning of us.
40:45Leo is going on NXT now.
40:48Congratulations to him.
40:50He deserves it.
40:51And without being cocky, I'm the next, guys.
40:56It's not that different.
40:57Ah, it's not that different.
40:59Look at the...
41:00Maybe the chest is bigger than me.
41:02I will give you my workout.
41:03Yes, please.
41:04I know a lot of people who say the same thing, but I wait for this my whole life.
41:08For real, like, this is what I wanted and now I have it.
41:11And now I just want to go to NXT and prove to everybody that I belong to be here.
41:16Guys, I thought you did an excellent job.
41:19I really, really think you did an excellent job.
41:21It was excellent.
41:22It was excellent.
41:23I think you both have some really bright futures in LFG, but most importantly, past LFG.
41:30My future can be really bright.
41:32I just can't wait.
41:34To be able to do this together is the best feeling ever.
41:38This exact moment was what I want.
