00:01Welcome back to the Luanity Mod Review. Today we are looking at Nyan Cat's Heaven, which adds a Nyan land
00:09in the sky and a portal to get up to it.
00:12So we are in Nyan land right now, which is just a quite interesting place.
00:20We have these clouds that we walk on, and there's Nyan trees.
00:25Are these Nyan trees? I don't even know what they're actually considered.
00:30Meese trees. They are meese trees, which don't have any uses, actually.
00:39So that's kind of fun.
00:42However, if we look for some of the recipes we do have available, there is a meese shrub, which this
00:47mod adds, which you can turn into a block.
00:50And that's it as far as any kind of new recipes go.
00:54So we do have the shrub. You know, I am in creative right now.
00:59I will probably turn that off later, but I need it for some of the demo.
01:05So we are up in the sky. How do we get up here?
01:08Well, we are very high at like 30,000-ish.
01:12Yeah, 30,687 nodes.
01:16So sure, you could make a giant sour to get up here, but that would be a very long, tedious
01:23process.
01:24So there is a portal added, which makes things much easier.
01:28So let's go check out the portal.
01:30So here we have the fantastic portal.
01:35It is a bit complicated to build, although there is not really too much that goes into it.
01:41It is sand blocks, meese blocks, water, and torches.
01:45So I suppose the easiest way to demonstrate this would be to build another one.
01:51So we will just go over here and hope I am far enough away.
01:57Actually, you know what? Let me lay out some more sand.
02:00Okay, that's enough sand. Let's get to it.
02:02So we are going to start with two meese blocks stacked on top of each other, as such.
02:07And then we are going to...
02:08And see, this is why I have creative turned on.
02:10We are going to put a round of sand blocks around the meese blocks to hide in the lower one.
02:16And then in the four corners, we will put another block of sand.
02:21And atop of those, we will place one torch each.
02:26Then we are going to do this outer ring here.
02:30So that is an open space and then three blocks with the corners filled like that.
02:40Ooh, I made this just big enough.
02:42So we're going to go ahead and do that.
02:44One in the corner here, the three there, and one in the corner there.
02:48So that's looking pretty good.
02:51Now, we're going to go ahead and dig out two blocks of sand from each of these edges and place
02:56one meese block at the bottom of that hole.
02:59So the meese block will be one node lower than the remaining sand in the center.
03:06And we're going to do that on all four sides like that.
03:14And then we are going to take some water, which I do have water as well.
03:19And we're going to place water on top of each meese block and as such.
03:25I imagine we could just do this as well.
03:28Probably don't have to actually put it on the meese block because it'll go down to it.
03:33There we go.
03:33All right, now, because that wasn't enough, we're going to put two torches in each corner diagonally coming out.
03:42Looks like I didn't quite make this big enough, so we're going to add some more sand.
03:47Torch there.
03:49Oh, no.
03:50Oh, never mind.
03:51I thought we were going to have a problem, but it doesn't look like we will.
03:54Torch there.
03:56And then torch and a torch.
03:58And now, if we punch this while standing on it, while holding a stick, it should work.
04:05But first, let's demonstrate if it doesn't work.
04:10So, you'll see here, it doesn't work.
04:13Now, if we put the torch on this corner and we punch it with the stick, it'll start making some
04:17little smoke effects.
04:19Some little sound effects will play.
04:20And before you know it, there we go.
04:29It's quite the fall when you land, so bring some food.
04:33Also, please note, it doesn't make a portal for you to get back.
04:36So, you need to have some mains by which you can return to the ground.
04:47Alright, well now, let's quick change out of creative mode here.
04:52Alright, we are out of creative mode.
04:54Let's take a look around here and see what there is to see.
04:59So, we have these Mish trees.
05:01Now, I don't know how to harvest them, obviously with an axe.
05:05But can we just punch them by hand?
05:07I don't know.
05:08We're going to start with a stone axe.
05:11Steel axe, diamond axe.
05:15Oh, I made a mistake.
05:16I meant to take a Mish axe, not a Mish pickaxe.
05:19Oh well, that looks like the Mish pickaxe works.
05:23So, that's good to know.
05:25The leaves.
05:27I'm assuming I could actually break the leaves by hand.
05:33Yeah.
05:34Yeah, I can.
05:35And the apple, of course.
05:39Wait.
05:40The Nyan cat moves.
05:43Some of them do.
05:47That's cool.
05:48Didn't know that.
05:51Oh, the cloud you can break by hand.
05:53So, that's great because you can fall through that and that could end up being a bad day.
06:02I'm actually looking for...
06:03Oh, I guess we do have to break through the clouds.
06:05Okay, well let me find a spot where we won't have to fall too far, hopefully.
06:11Can't I find one such a spot?
06:14Eww.
06:17Honestly, it looks like if I fall here, I'm going to die.
06:21Oh no, we should be fine here.
06:23Eww.
06:24Alright, so this should, this is just normal Mish blocks.
06:28So, anything that can break a Mish block will break these.
06:31We've got some funky stuff going on with the shadows.
06:33There is some ice, which is fun because it makes things slippery.
06:36And then we have more cloud.
06:38And there's holes through this so you can fall all the way down to your untimely demise.
06:45Uh, yeah, like right there, fall to your untimely demise.
06:48Uh, potentially I can make this jump.
06:50Okay, good, because that would have been awkward.
06:53You've got to watch your step because you never know when there's going to be a hole and you're going
06:56to fall through.
06:57Um, yeah, that's an interesting little formation.
07:04Oh, oh!
07:07Dude, I almost died.
07:08I'm trying to tell, is that...
07:12I think that's the, uh, the normal Mish tree things.
07:19And they just look a little funny for some reason.
07:21I don't know why.
07:22I need to get up and check it out.
07:26Um, thankfully I have a bunch of Nyanland cloud I can place here.
07:31Give me some little step.
07:33Why do these look green in the distance?
07:37I mean, I'm sure they're not.
07:40But, like, I'm not crazy, am I?
07:42They do, the colors very much look different.
07:46It must just be a lighting effect.
07:49There's a hole there.
07:51So anyways, once we're up here, we can harvest all of the goodies, like the Mish blocks.
07:55Uh, you can get up to these Nyan cats, I suppose.
08:00Um, the mod does also include the Nyan cats.
08:05So.
08:07You do have those as well.
08:10Oh, dude, I'm still not...
08:11I'm still not close.
08:14Uh.
08:16Uh.
08:18I don't know if what I brought with me will be enough.
08:26Nooo, I'm still not high enough.
08:29Oh, well, it gives us a nice vantage point.
08:30There's a ton of Nyan cats up here.
08:32Uh, the portal's really not difficult to build outside of needing...

08:46Yeah, if my math's mathing, that's 10 Mish blocks.

08:50And then, of course, like I said, you need some way to get back down.

08:55It doesn't provide a return portal.
08:57So, you either need a home set, or if there's, like, a spawn position set.
09:02Um, yeah.
09:03You can use that to get back to the...
09:05The home sweet home on the ground.
09:07But that is the Nyan cats heaven mod.
