01:12Et, you know, all I feel is that I really want to win more matches here and I really want
01:20to show some great tennis.
01:22So, I don't know, for now, as I'm super happy about the win today, I'm not feeling any pressure.
01:26Maybe tomorrow it might change, but for now, I would say that I'm just feeling very excited.
01:32Hey, Mira, well done.
01:34Thanks.
01:34Do you feel differently as a person or as a tennis player than you did from a year ago?
01:40More prepared for a big moment like this?
01:44I feel like...
01:45And if so, how?
01:46I feel that kind of, yes.
01:51I feel like I'm a little bit more prepared for some situations that might go not according to the plan
01:58on the court.
01:59Either with my game or if my opponent starts to play better or if, I don't know, something happens with
02:06the crowd.
02:07I feel like I'm kind of... I know what to do in those moments.
02:11Maybe sometimes it doesn't work the best way, but I have the plan in my head and what I'm trying,
02:19you know, to have if something doesn't go according to the plan.
02:23So, I feel like that's been better.
02:25Obviously, I also feel like I've kind of became a little bit more stronger physically and mentally as well, even
02:33though, you know, the last match was not, like, the best.
02:37But I still feel like, you know, I obviously have a lot of room to improve, but now it's been
02:43better and I feel the difference on the court when I play.
02:47Is there any little routine that you go through, like, breathing a certain way or closing your eyes or, like,
02:54something you tell yourself?
02:55That gets you in that super stressful moment that happens because of either something external or internal?
03:04Well, sometimes, you know, there are thoughts that are at one point come into your head that you cannot really
03:11control.
03:13Like, I don't know, oh, you've been playing so great.
03:15What if, you know, the stops or what if you start to miss or what if she starts to play
03:21better?
03:21Then, you know, as I've been talking to my psychologist, she, you know, said to kind of imagine the big
03:29stop sign that is on the road, you know, that red sign with, like, big stop.
03:33So, I've been trying to imagine that.
03:36Obviously, some breathing techniques as well that helps a lot.
03:39And, you know, just to also switch my focus a little bit.
03:43That's when I start to sing a song in my head that also helps to kind of switch it up
03:48a little bit.
03:50And, yeah, some, like, different techniques like that that I use and, you know, that most of the time help
03:55me on the court.
03:57So, I just, is there a particular song that you sing to yourself to focus?
04:01Because I do this and I have the same song every time.
04:03Well, sometimes, but it kind of depends if I hear something that day, then it will just, you know, stick
04:13in my head and that's what I'm going to be singing.
04:15Sometimes I don't, I'm not going to even know the words, but the melody will be there.
04:20But now all I can think of is, you know, I don't know if you saw the match, but now
04:24the only melody that I have in my head is from the group of people that were very supportive of
04:29Jill today.
04:30And now the only thing that is playing in my mind is, you know, the chanting that they were using.
04:36So, for now, I don't know. It's just what I have in my mind for some reason.
04:40You're a Jill Teichman supporter now is what you're saying.
04:42Yeah, kind of, I guess.
04:44The question I was going to ask is about the night matches. It's obviously about the start.
04:47It's very rare that they put women's matches in the night matches here.
04:50I wonder if you're someone who would be quite up for playing in that showcase event and, you know, and
04:55why?
04:56Well, I've been playing a lot of night matches this year, I would say, you know, Australia.
05:02Also, last year in New York, I've been playing, you know, very late as well.
05:06So, I wouldn't say that I'm a huge fan to play, you know, the last match, the night session.
05:13You know, I, for me, it depends what the organizers do.
05:17If they put me in night match, I'm going to be fine.
05:19Okay, I will play a night match.
05:20If they put me first match, I'm also going to be fine because, for me, it's easier not to focus
05:24on that and whatever they do, I'll just go with it and it's going to help me not to kind
05:29of overthink and think too much about it.
