00:25The next day we expanded the search even further.
00:28By late afternoon we were almost ready to give up for the day when the owner's other
00:32dog suddenly became fixated on some rabbit holes.
00:36That's when we realised Cracker was trapped below the surface.
00:39We started digging as carefully and quickly as we could.
00:44Oh that rose thank you.
00:47And the vets just to get checked over.
00:51After widening the hole we finally spotted Cracker's tiny nose nearly three feet underground.

01:18At first I thought we'd be able to pull her out right away but we quickly realised the situation
01:24was far more serious for nearly 20 minutes we doubled our hands carefully clearing dirt away
01:34from her body then we discovered thick tree roots wrapped tightly around her abdomen
