00:00Bemban Assemblyman Dr Yadzil Yaqob today rebuked Bersatu President Muhyiddin Yassin,
00:06saying that he is no longer Perikatan Nasional Chairman and should refrain from making announcements on the coalition's behalf.
00:14Yadzil said this in response to Muhyiddin's remarks at a ceramah yesterday in Melaka,
00:20where he claimed the coalition would sweep all 28 state seats in the coming state elections
00:25and that parties in the loose coalition Ikatan Prihatin Rakyat could contest under the PN banner.
00:33Yadzil, who was sacked from Bersatu in February, also reminded Muhyiddin that he will not be the one signing election
00:40candidate appointment letters for PN.
00:44In a statement, the former Bersatu Supreme Council member said Muhyiddin should instead focus on strengthening his party's machinery and
00:52building its grassroots support.
00:55Yadzil also hit out at Muhyiddin for welcoming IPR parties to contests under PN,
01:01claiming that the Paguh MP previously blocked four Malay-based parties from joining the coalition.
01:08While Yadzil did not name those four Malay parties,
01:11it was previously reported that Berjasa, Mukhris Mahathir's Pejuang, and Ibrahim Ali's Putra had applied to join PN.
