00:00Today I am honoured to announce the following pledges on behalf of the Italian people.
00:06We will contribute 140 million euros to all the three organisations.
00:12We will contribute 10 million euros to CEPI to accelerate research to find a vaccine.
00:18We also contribute 10 million euros to the World Health Organisation to continue supporting
00:25the most vulnerable countries in their preparedness and response to COVID-19.
00:32We will allocate half a million euros to COVID-19 response mechanisms of the Global Fund.
00:39And finally, since distributing vaccines safely and effectively must be our common priority,
00:46we commit to contribute 120 million euros over the next 65 years to Gavi for the global
00:55immunisation from COVID-19 and other diseases.
