00:00When you look at this Knicks team, right, and their run, there's been some talk from some people, not, I
00:06don't think me or you would say this, but some are saying, hey, the Knicks, they've had an easy path
00:10here to the finals. You've seen what championship teams have looked like, somebody who's called the finals. Does this Knicks
00:15team, in your eyes, do they look like a championship team right now? Is that something you'd say?
00:19Absolutely. I hate that when people bring that up because you can only play who's in front of you. And
00:24if you go back over time, there are plenty of championship teams that caught a break, either through an injury
00:30or a team getting upset in a previous round. That happens. But I won't even get into discussing that because
00:37the team has to just play who's in front of them and move forward.
00:40The ironic thing, Dexter, is that before the Atlanta series, there were a lot of people that picked the Hawks.
00:46Yeah, there was.
00:46Before the Philly series, there were people picking Philly and there were people picking the Cleveland Cavs. So all of
00:53a sudden now, after the Knicks beat them, while they're not, they're not really, you know, that good, it's ridiculous
00:58because you, to me, you can't criticize a team for advancing and not only advancing, but dominating the way they
01:03have and say, oh, they had an easy, they had a cakewalk.
01:06Now, either the team they're going to play, they're at a different level defensively than any team that they faced
01:13in the playoffs. There's no question about it. But the Knicks deserve to be there. And regardless, Spurs or Thunder,
01:19they've got a shot.
