00:04So, perfect blue skies, almost no wind, beautiful sunshine.
00:09These are indeed conditions for the beautiful game.
00:12The backdrop here, picturesque, idyllic.
00:15No doubt one of the best days of the footballing calendar
00:19and it has added to a really jovial, happy mood in the stands,
00:23helping to raise the level of sound by more than a few decibels.
00:27Shirt sleeve order, very...
00:29Goyos!
00:31Oh, and they really should have been made to pay.
00:34That's just front foot enforcement.
00:36Pressure leads to mistake, leads to chance.
00:49Milan were simply a class apart in the corresponding fixture last season.
00:54They dismantled their opponents.
00:56Goyos finds himself eased off the ball.
01:02The road.
01:06Milan had a terrific defensive record over the last five games.
01:11Keeps everyone guessing.
01:23It's a very good battle there.
01:25Terrific to watch.
01:29The ball's come loose and the chase is on.
01:33He wasn't very far from making something happen by himself.
01:37Lovely to see.
01:41Great strength.
01:42Too strong for his opponent.
01:54Milan are really pouncing on any straight passes in midfield.
01:57We're talking seconds from interception to the back of the net.
02:00It's counter-attacking heaven.
02:43Milan, go ahead, one goal to the good.
02:48Hoist it forward.
02:50Balls loose, who's getting there?
02:55Castledine, Goyos, Goyos showed plenty of zest in getting to the ball, but couldn't quite sort it out.
03:05Well intercepted, really alert to the danger.
03:09Goyos is flagged offside.
03:21Goyos.
03:29Pouca gets it away.
03:31He's not played the ball, that's a foul.
03:34Well, that looks like a final warning, still no card.
03:49Keeper sends it forward.
03:52Castledine.
03:53He's pinged one through.
03:55Goyos!
03:57And he's there to make a great save.
04:00Goyos really must have felt he had the measure of the keeper then, but how wrong he was.
04:07Great leap!
04:09It's in!
04:11And they're at it again, in double quick time.
04:19Great corner, and he did the rest.
04:22Well, look, it's often the timing of the jump that dictates what you can do with any header,
04:26and if you get it slightly wrong, then you'll struggle, but that was beautifully met, it really was.
04:47Milan grab a couple of goals without reply, it's 2-0.
04:51Well, they're very much the better team at the moment, Peter,
04:54and no doubt we'll be looking to cause even more damage here.
05:03It's coming on the right now, what's on?
05:07Castledine is onto it and can take it up.
05:10Striding forward, facing goal.
05:15So will they make it count again?
05:19And that has been cleared.
05:26Arcas gets it into the middle.
05:43And here's Muriel, he's true, now is he in?
05:48Regardless of the outcome, it is good to see someone running at the defence like that.
05:57He's not one readily to admit defeat.
06:00Don't be surprised if he tries that again.
06:09Good running with the ball, can they build on it?
06:22Well positioned to make that interception.
06:25And the defence can get it clear.
06:30Atalanta can't make any sort of inroad despite all this possession.
06:45And the lead is three, it is surely done.
06:51Yeah, looking back at that, that's how you play on the counter.
06:54Quick and decisive and ruthless with the finish.
06:57I thought it was a stunning, stunning regular.
07:22Three without reply.
07:25This is becoming a stroll.
07:31He gets past his man.
07:34Doesn't get the pass he's looking for.
07:41Goyos.
07:45And it's played forward.
07:51Inlet goes looking.
07:56And the assistant referee rightly gives him offside.
08:12Castledine looks to clip it forward.
08:16Goyos!
08:18Oh, that is an awful miss.
08:21Goyos completely showed too much of that for the keeper.
08:25And he'll be kicking himself for it.
08:39Asamoah.
08:43Ball's loose.
08:44And he's after it.
08:52Some good work on the right flank.
08:54Now, what's next?
08:57Great run this.
08:58He's covered quite a distance.
09:00He's got options in the box if he gets his head up.
09:05And he heaves it forward.
09:07And it's been taken straight back.
09:10Plays it long.
09:13Danger averted for now.
09:16It's a throw.
09:22Inlet.
09:25Goyos.
09:26Tries a shot.
09:29Oh, just lacked a decent finish.
09:31It was more possible than probable.
09:34And the outcome backed it up, Peter.
09:43Well, they would seem to be trying to expose the centre of that defence to runners.
09:48Makes for some terrific movement.
09:50It does.
09:51And they may be hit on the break because, obviously, it requires numbers forward to stretch them out.
09:59Defence got the better of him this time, but I'm sure he'll go again.
10:10Oh, he's...
10:11It's Muriel!
10:13Hits off target and by quite a way.
10:25Goyos.
10:27Chance to shoot.
10:30Bit of a kill, but nothing doing.
10:36Going through.
10:39Tries to get it forward quickly.
10:44Inlet.
10:46Inlet plays it forward.
10:49Goyos.
10:50Into opposition territory.
10:55And the whistle's gone.
10:56Presumably for offside.
11:07And that will be the final action of the first half.
11:11And as easy as one, two, three.
11:13And it really has been that straight forward halfway through the match,
11:17but very little to suggest that much will change over the second half.
11:21Goyos!
11:24They fall!
11:28Players ecstatic.
11:30Fans delirious.
11:32This is utopian.
11:39Beautifully dispatched.
11:41There was no reaching that.
11:42Now that's what I call finishing.
11:45Right in the corner.
11:46He knew instinctively who was square,
11:48and didn't need to waste any time weighing things up.
11:50That's a cracking goal.
11:54He's made it three.
11:55Quite a day at the office for him.
11:57Well, he's been the outstanding player on the pitch,
11:59and devastating in front of the goal.
12:01What a display.
12:02What a player.
12:18It's become a case of men against boys.
12:24Asamoah.
12:26Quadro Asamoah has been caught there.
12:28It's a foul.
12:42Forward it goes.
12:45Atalanta making a fresh attempt to release someone in behind from back to front.
12:50And this is something different.
12:54Goyos.
12:56Pulka very firm in standing his ground there.
12:59It is a tough full contact contest.
13:05Just brushed off the ball there.
13:07And the weighted pass.
13:09The ball needed to be better there.
13:11That's a wasted chance.
13:19And they win it back again.
13:24He's going to be pulled back for that one.
13:34Good shot hand by the keeper.
13:38He's kicked it out.
13:39That's a great save.
13:40I was expecting him to play it in until I saw his run-up.
13:45Now it's Muriel.
13:47Well, that looks a foul.
13:48Yep, referee's given it.
14:06It's a long pass, but not the most accurate.
14:10Gets good distance on it.
14:20Goyos.
14:21Chance to shoot!
14:24No mistake!
14:28This is as ruthless as it gets.
14:32Well, I wasn't expecting him to go this big, Peter, but they have been superb.
14:59Things looking so easy.
15:01Almost too easy here.
15:02Well, it's been an absolutely fabulous spell for them, and they're starting to look unstoppable.
15:08There could be more on the way.
15:15It's nice to get it forward quickly.
15:22Arkas plays it forward.
15:25As Serbi did well to emerge with the ball.
15:28That's a contest to keep an eye on.
15:32He's left his man.
15:34And that has been clubbed away.
15:46Arkas drives it forward.
15:49Goes for goal!
15:51Well, he caught that pure, but no end product.
15:55Castledine put absolutely everything he had into that.
15:59Maybe better look next time.
16:22For he sit forward.
16:25Well, no question as to who's winning the battle in midfield at the moment some very impressive pressing in place
16:31here
16:34Very well to intervene
16:48Good idea just poorly executed
16:54Well, it seems as if he's just had a momentary lapse and and slipped into tunnel vision because he had
17:00good options around him
17:02And he failed to get his head up
17:05Cuts it out
17:14And it's played forward and here's muriel
17:19Goyos
17:21Castledine a scorer already in the game
17:25Gets the better of his man
17:28And the ball is out of play
17:31Yeah, their position is a dominant one now peter so introducing one of the youngsters for some added experience is
17:38bang on
18:02Atalanta going about it patiently perhaps too patiently
18:08Arcas tries to get it forward quickly as he picked him out
18:12He's made sure that that won't get through
18:28Goyos
18:33He's got away
18:35Tumps it into the...
18:36Shot at goal!
18:38He's scored!
18:42Surely that completes the demolition
18:44if it hadn't occurred already.
18:50Listen, when you're on an invitation
18:52to improve your goal difference,
18:54it weighs off.
18:57It's an inspired substitution.
19:00Terrific move by the boss.
19:01Well, the instruction from the manager would have been
19:03go on and make yourself a nuisance
19:05and see if you can snatch a goal.
19:07Mission accomplished.
19:21There's going to be another change here.
19:23I just think that's really good management,
19:26introducing one of his younger players
19:27when the pressure's totally off,
19:29just allowing him some valuable,
19:30easy on-field experience time.
19:50Battles to win it back.
19:52And it's Colliarella.
20:01Has a hit!
20:03And he couldn't keep it down.
20:05If he sacrifices some power,
20:07he may control the elevation.
20:27Goyos gets it back.
20:29Gets away from his opponents.
20:38And they've got it back as soon as they gave it away.
20:41He's gone for it!
20:43He has done it!
20:47And just another one to add
20:49to what has already been an incredible haul.
20:56Yeah, by the looks of it,
20:58there may be still more to come.
21:01Four in the game.
21:03He is the man.
21:24Final checks on the touchline.
21:26A change about to occur.
21:28Well, to wait until now to make this change
21:30seems a bit baffling.
21:32He's expecting the Miraculous
21:33to turn this around from here.
21:35No doubt as to who has the momentum here now.
21:37The only doubt is how many is coming.
21:47Yeah, he's fouled in there.
22:08Atalanta seem happy to bash their heads
22:10against the brick wall, Peter.
22:12That central route forward
22:13is just a no-go zone.
22:22That's not going to make it.
22:33He's having a look round.
22:38Looking to...
22:39Oh, shooting chance!
22:41Oh, take and win style!
22:48Just so calm under pressure.
22:50Well, I think that defence there
22:51thought they were in good position
22:52and they had him where they wanted,
22:54yet somehow he's worked the scoring position
22:56when it didn't see him on.
22:58It's really crafty business, that.
23:07It's really crafty business, that.
23:08It's really crafty business, that.
23:11I think that.
23:17That's not good.
23:17I'm not sure how many are going to make it happen.
23:18It's really crafty business,
23:18so to be honest,
23:18it's really crafty business.
23:19It's really crafty business.
23:32atalanta making consecutive changes here well he's worked so hard for a side
23:37as you would expect but he couldn't help notice that he was starting to
23:41to labor a bit so it's no surprise atalanta can have a goal but it's hard
23:47to see it as anything much more than a consolation
23:54he's left his man plays it out to the wing
23:58he's gone away
24:03gets wrestled off the ball
24:07ball's gone out of play
24:09the changes then in quick succession yeah he's run himself into the ground
24:13hasn't he and it's it's good to see that the crowd
24:15appreciate his efforts because he has put in a real honest shift
24:23and he has been fouled there
24:35a kichi decides to play it back driving on he could shoot here
24:44call your radar goios he gets past his man
24:50the room
24:57across the field it goes
25:02that'll be a throw
25:17questions were asked but he's given the answers
25:23and now they can launch a counter
25:25it's quite a runner
25:28he's put it wide
25:36the road
25:40the referee's given a throw
25:53goios
25:56and that is it the referee has seen enough
25:59Milan comfortable winners
26:01a
