00:05I can tell that you are a little mischievous.
00:09We're going to have to make a little trouble later.
00:11Well, I already have.
00:16Edith is a huge troublemaker.
00:18She loves messing with her sisters,
00:20something that I can kind of relate to
00:22because I do have an older sister.
00:23And here she is, the fearless unicorn hunter.
00:27Edith, stop it.
00:28She's very much a tomboy, but she wears pink.
00:31I just think it's really cool, you know, like juxtaposition, I guess.
00:35But she also has a warm heart,
00:36despite the fact that she seems so tough.
00:39She's not your average kid.
00:40Oh, did you take that guy down?
00:42Did anything explode?
00:43When I started working on the first film,
00:45I was only 11 years old.
00:47And then for the second movie, I was 15 or 16.
00:51When we started working on the third one,
00:52I was 19 years old and almost 20 now.
00:54Agnes thinks she's going to find a real unicorn in the woods tomorrow.
00:58She's totally freaking out.
01:00I think the biggest challenge was when my voice jumped from 11 years old to 15 years old.
01:05I definitely have to make my voice sound younger,
01:07which is so much fun
01:08because I get to kind of live in the body of a little girl
01:13and, you know, act young and crazy again
01:15because I have to be responsible now that I'm older.
01:19Can we go back now?
01:21I love recording the voice of Edith
01:23because I get to play with all of her lines.
01:26Yeah, I'll let someone else burst her bubble.
01:28There's definitely a challenge with not having anyone else in the room
01:31because you might be really sassy in one moment
01:34and really sad the next or scared
01:36and you don't have anyone else to really play off with as much.
01:40Yeah, we're fine.
01:42Are you?
01:42And it really is a great opportunity to use your imagination.
01:46Fritz, my good fellow, could you get me another napkin, please?
01:53Overall, these films have meant a lot to me
01:56just because it's about family.
01:58And, you know, having these films is something that I can hang on to
02:01to remind me that, you know, no matter where I am,
02:04that my family is there for me.
02:06You know, both my despicable me family
02:07and my regular family.
