Water shortage continues due to heatwave

Twenty-two thousand people across Kent have water supply issues, as South East Water apologised to customers impacted.

8000 people in the Whitstable area have no water at all, while 7000 people are having either low pressure or intermittent supply in Tankerton, Ashford, Ulcombe, Cranbrook, Coxheath and Headcorn.
