00:21If you don't want to call, if you're trying to call for the end of unrest, but you don't believe
00:27healthcare is a human right, if you're afraid to say Black Lives Matter, if you're too scared to call out
00:36police brutality, then you aren't asking for an end of unrest.
00:40You are asking for injustice to continue and for your people to continue to endure the violence of poverty, the
00:48violence of a lack of housing access, the violence of police brutality, and not say a damn thing.
00:55That's what you're asking for.
00:56So if you're out here calling for the end of unrest, then you better be calling for healthcare as a
01:03human right.
01:04You better be calling for accountability in our policing.
01:08You better be supporting community review boards.
01:11You better be supporting, you know, the end of housing discrimination.
01:17You better be standing up to for-profit real estate developers that are intimidating people and trying to evict them
01:24from their homes.
01:25That's what you better be calling for.
01:27Because if you don't call for those things and you're asking for the end of unrest, all you're asking for
01:33is the continuation of quiet oppression.
01:35So if you want the end of unrest, then you should be asking for measures that actually liberate people in
01:43their lives from the oppression of economic and social inequity.
01:50And those are just some of my thoughts because, you know, I just can't, I can't with folks that are
02:00saying we need to stop this unrest, we need to stop violence, as though charging someone $1,000 a month
02:08for insulin that they need to survive isn't violent.
02:11That is violent and allowing people to die in these systems is just wrong.
02:18The way that we end this and the way that we move through this is by establishing justice.
