00:00First of all, the bottom line is Iran's never going to have a nuclear weapon.
00:03And if recent events have done anything, it's just remind us once again
00:06that they are the world's leading sponsor of terrorism.
00:09And they can never have a nuclear weapon.
00:11Now, the President's preference, Mr. President, your preference has told us repeatedly,
00:15is always to negotiate these things and to figure out if you can have agreements.
00:18Diplomacy is always the first option.
00:20And we continue to work on that through your envoys, Mr. Woodcoff and Kushner and others,
00:26the Vice President, who have been very involved.
00:27And if there's an agreement to be made, we want that to be made.
00:30I think there's been some progress and some interest.
00:32And we'll see over the next few hours and days whether progress could be made.
00:36I just want to remind everybody, Mr. President, you know this well,
00:38you have other options available to you if that doesn't work.
00:41But the bottom line is that we prefer the negotiated diplomatic route,
00:46and we're going to give it every chance to succeed.
00:48I know you're giving it every chance to succeed, Mr. President.
00:50But here's the bottom line.
00:51Because I keep getting asked, what is this all about?
00:52It's very simple.
00:54Iran and these people in charge of Iran can never have a nuclear weapon.
00:58And they will never have a nuclear weapon.
00:59And they most certainly will not have one as long as you're President of the United States.
01:03On that point, it's very clear.
