00:00You know, we can see some traces of bruising, for example, on the president's hands, swelling
00:04around the ankles. We've seen the president falling asleep, perhaps a bit more in recent
00:10meetings than in meetings during his first term. I mean, obviously, that's not unusual,
00:16is it? As we've been saying, I mean, at the age of 80, a lot of people will be about
00:1820
00:19years into their retirement. But what does it tell us?
00:23So the purple splotches on the back of both of his hands, if you rule out all the underlying
00:29causes, bleeding disorders, other organ disease, which we trust that is confident doctors would
00:38do. They just haven't chosen to release that. Then it's very common for something called
00:44senile purpura, which are you have fragile capillaries. And so usually the back of hands of 80 year
00:53olds, you know, think about your grandparents or the back of their arms, which just even
00:58minor trauma causes those purple splotches. He came up with, I'm taking aspirin and it's shaking
01:08hands. And we know that nobody shakes hands with their right and left hand. So that doesn't make
01:14any sense. And that you would stop taking aspirin. And that's usually not associated with that. So
01:22that's part of that, you know, denial, delusion, deception, and delay in results. As far as the
01:29swollen ankles, again, if you've ruled out the underlying causes of heart failure, of
01:41other things that cause your legs to be swollen, then you can have venous insufficiency,
01:50which is a diagnosis of exclusion. You know, they should have done ultrasound to make sure that
01:56doesn't have blood clots in both legs, which is kind of odd as it's symmetrical. And so for venous
02:02insufficiency, we see swollen ankles in people that are overweight, that are sedentary. And
02:13the answer to that is you lose weight and you be more physically active. And riding three miles on
02:21a golf cart does not count as physical activity. So if they've ruled out the underlying causes,
02:28then that common thing that we see in 80-year-olds could certainly be the appropriate explanation.
