00:00The Patriots start OTAs tomorrow.
00:02I think they run about two weeks, pretty close to two weeks.
00:06Take the weekends off, so it's 10 days or something in that area.
00:10Michael, you know it better than I do.
00:12They are not mandatory workouts,
00:14but that doesn't mean that everyone isn't expected there,
00:17and that's mandatory.
00:18Especially the quarterback.
00:19Yeah.
00:20Quarterbacks, it's mandatory for the quarterback.
00:22If the quarterback's not there, you say something's going on.
00:25Why the hell isn't the quarterback here?
00:26Yeah, got to be there.
00:27And so I put, I should say, they're optional workouts,
00:31but I put optional in quotes.
00:34But Vrabel's going to speak tomorrow for the first time, you know,
00:37in some time.
00:38I think it's going to be in the late morning.
00:40There's going to be some locker room access,
00:41or at least people have been requested,
00:43a couple of players are usually made available.
00:45I think only three of the sessions are open to the media over the two weeks.
00:49But we'll have, there's a lot that's going to come out in these couple of weeks,
00:54I think.
00:54I think, you know, again, we start to put some of the new pieces on the field.
00:58So let me ask both of you guys, what is, you know,
01:01what are the stories you're interested in here now as the Patriots congregate
01:05again in Foxborough?
01:06I don't know about you, Murray.
01:08The number one thing for me is what you just mentioned.
01:10It's the guy behind us.
01:12It is, for those watching on NBC Sports Boston, it's Mike Vrabel.
01:15How does Mike Vrabel handle the media?
01:18How is Mike Vrabel vibe-wise?
01:21What's his personality like in the beginning of the 2026 season?
01:27Because he was the story.
01:29He was the story last year.
01:31And I'm not going to say, oh, personality doesn't matter.
01:34It mattered to this team in 2025.
01:37Everybody.
01:39Oh, Vrabel.
01:39Hands-on coach.
01:41You know, he's in there.
01:42He's one of us.
01:43He understands what it's like.
01:44And so does he have his swag back?
01:47Does he have his confidence back?
01:49Is he looking over his shoulder?
01:50Is he checking his phone to see if there's another report from somebody else?
01:56Or is he like, hey, it's calm now.
01:59I've dealt with the worst of it, and now I can just get back to coaching football.
