00:14against Cuban Army General Raul Castro. Various international movements rejected the indictment
00:20issued by the United States Department of Justice against the Cuban revolutionary leader
00:24concerning the 1996 downing of two brothers to the rescue aircraft. Statements of condemnation
00:31from governments, labor unions, and friendship associations in numerous countries describe
00:34the charges as fraudulent and lacking both legal and moral foundation. In this regard,
00:40different political forces and regional and global human rights groups also rejected the
00:44U.S. action expressed in support for the Cuban revolution while demanding an end to the threats
00:49against the island.
00:56And in this regard, Cuba's Minister of Foreign Affairs Bruno Rodríguez posted following
01:01on his official telegram account, International condemnation is growing over the fraudulent
01:06and illegal accusations made by the U.S. government against Army General Raul Castro Ruz. We appreciate
01:11the statements from governments, trade unions, political forces, friendship associations,
01:15and Cuban residing abroad who have rejected this new U.S. decision aimed at escalating threats
01:20threats and aggression against Cuba.
