00:00The Diggs thing interests me only because, hey, he's still out there.
00:03I know his legal troubles are behind him,
00:05so you would think he doesn't come with any kind of baggage
00:09other than what he normally brings.
00:10So is there any way, whether or not they trade for A.J. Brown,
00:14that the Patriots would bring him back?
00:16What would the percentages be there?
00:18If they sign or if they acquire A.J. Brown,
00:22I don't think they go after Diggs.
00:24I think Stephon Diggs is a really intriguing fallback
00:28if they can't find a way to add someone like A.J. Brown.
00:32Look, guys in the locker room loved him.
00:34Kyle Williams talked at great length about him
00:37and what he meant to his development over the course of the last year.
00:40The guys in the wide receiver room really like him,
00:42and he's a trusted target of a guy like Drake May.
00:45All that being said, I think it's a long shot that he comes back,
00:47but if they can't find a way to get Brown,
00:50I think there's a chance that they revisit Diggs.
00:52Okay, so if the Eagles –
00:55there's like talk if the Eagles made a gentleman's agreement with the Patriots
01:00and, you know, if you have to honor that
01:02and you, you know, are giving a 25% possibility that they don't.
01:07Like how often does that happen in the NFL?
01:10Because it seems like completely countered to how you would want to operate
01:15from a position of power if you were the one dealing the player.
01:18In my experience, it doesn't happen all that frequently in the National Football League.
01:22It only happens when you have two coaches who have –
01:27or two GMs who have an extensive background with each other.
01:31Look, again, we saw it with the Max Crosby trade.
01:33We saw it a couple years ago with Milton Williams,
01:36where everyone thought that he was tagged and ticketed to go to Carolina
01:39and at the last minute the Patriots sweep in and sign him to a big deal,
01:42and we all know how that went.
01:43So nothing is official.
01:46You know, you can have all the gentleman's agreements you want.
01:48Again, I don't think it's necessarily a common occurrence
01:51across the National Football League,
01:52but until you put pen to paper and everyone signs the contracts,
01:56it's not done.
