00:21Pope Leo says, quote, what is needed is a more active political involvement that is capable of
00:26slowing things down when everything is accelerating. He went on to call for new laws and oversight of
00:31the rapidly advancing tech, while also placing some onus on AI users to be more informed about
00:37its impact. Pope Leo presented his grandeur of humanity thesis beside Chris Ola, that's one of
00:42the co-founders of AI company Anthropic. The billionaire computer wizard echoed the Pope's
00:47call for more accountability from his industry and said decisions should not be left to AI experts,
00:51but require a collective resolution.
