01:03I am pumped up about this show.
01:07This show is an awesome show.
01:09We got really special guests, which I can't wait to introduce.
01:13I am pumped up over this show.
01:15I'm Dwayne.
01:16And I'm Lori.
01:17This is He Said.
01:18She Said.
01:19Yay, positive vibes out there.
01:21Bringing you positive vibes.
01:23Positive vibes, guys.
01:25Before we get going into the show, I just want to send our condolences out to the Bryant family
01:30and the family that was killed on a helicopter, his daughter and some other family members.
01:37Not family members.
01:38Actually, people that was with him, Lori.
01:40So, this is a positive vibe to the Bryant family.
01:43And we're sending love and hugs out to you all.
01:45Yeah, and prayers and just praying that everything, you know, it's tough.
01:48You know, to have a tragic loss, you know, if you ever experienced it, it's really tough.
01:53So, we're sending positive vibes out there, okay?
01:55All right.
01:56On a brighter note, I am pumped.
01:59I'm so excited.
02:00I'm so excited.
02:01I have a dear friend, client, and I'm pumped up having her on the show.
02:08We have, you ready?
02:11I'm ready.
02:12You want to say Max or what?
02:13What's that?
02:15Sadie Sink.
02:17We got Sadie Sink on the show, guys.
02:20A.K.A. Max from Stranger Things.
02:25Come on, give her a hand.
02:26Come on, come on, come on up.
02:27The audience.
02:28The studio audience.
02:29The studio audience.
02:31What's up, Sadie?
02:32How you doing?
02:32I'm good.
02:33Good to be here.
02:34Oh, wow.
02:35So happy to have you on the show and, you know, we're going to talk about some pretty
02:40cool things.
02:40Yeah, we've been looking forward to this.
02:42Yeah.
02:43I mean, I trained Sadie, and it's really fun training her and having a good time with her.
02:48You know, Sadie just got a license.
02:51Yeah.
02:52I did.
02:54I have my license.
02:56One time she didn't make it to class because...
02:58Okay, okay, okay.
02:59Okay, okay, okay, okay.
03:00Tell me.
03:01So I was going to class, and we were boxing class, and then I had never driven there by
03:08myself before.
03:09And I remember my dad was like, you can go there by yourself, right?
03:11I was like, yeah.
03:12I think I've been like driving for like, I don't know.
03:15I've had it for a while since the summer, but I've just been away, so I haven't had much
03:19time to actually use it, but I was like, you know what?
03:21I'm going to drive to class.
03:22I'm going to do it by myself.
03:24And then I did it, and I just got really stressed out because there's street parking
03:27outside of Poe.
03:29So, and there was like plenty of spots, but I was just like, oh my God, I don't know which
03:33one's a spot.
03:34I can't do it.
03:34So then I just left.
03:35So then I got worried.
03:37I got worried.
03:37You got worried, so you called me.
03:39I called you.
03:40No, I called your mother.
03:41Yeah.
03:41And she's like, she's not there yet?
03:43I was like, no.
03:46She's like, wait a minute, we're calling.
03:47I said, okay, here we go.
03:48I'm like a worried dad now.
03:50And all of a sudden, she's like, oh, poor thing.
03:52She couldn't parallel park.
03:54But it wasn't even parallel parking.
03:56That's the thing.
03:57But then you decided to go to Whole Foods.
03:57All I did was just like, yeah, but I had to go to Whole Foods to get like almond butter
04:00anyway.
04:01Okay.
04:02So it all worked out.
04:03It all worked out in the end.
04:04Yeah, but it's kind of good because, you know, we had all these college kids that was telling
04:09you.
04:09Right.
04:09And they knew you was coming.
04:11And they was all pumped up.
04:12They were like, you should call her.
04:14Please get her to come.
04:14Yeah.
04:14Who's going to come?
04:15I said, I don't think she's going to be here.
04:16Going to Whole Foods.
04:17That's like, she's going to Whole Foods.
04:18Yeah.
04:19I wasn't going to tell you it was at Whole Foods.
04:21Right.
04:22You had a lot of people.
04:22She did class to go to Whole Foods.
04:24Well, other than that, so what's going on with you?
04:26I mean, nothing much right now.
04:28Just kind of like relaxing.
04:30No projects going on right now until the next season.
04:33Until the next season starts.
04:34When?
04:35I can't say.
04:36You can't say?
04:36Okay.
04:36I can't say.
04:37All right.
04:38That's exciting.
04:38All right.
04:39Very exciting.
04:40Because we're all on a cliffhanger.
04:41Yes.
04:42Right?
04:42Oh, my gosh.
04:44So when you go out, can you say when you go to shoot?
04:47I can't even say that.
04:48I mean, you know.
04:49I know.
04:49Okay.
04:49I can't say it.
04:50I'm not saying the answer.
04:51I know.
04:52All right.
04:53Okay.
04:53That's cool.
04:54So tell me.
04:55What do you do to, well, I know what you're doing.
04:58Right.
04:58What do you do to say it's safe?
05:00I mean, it's hard when I'm on set, just kind of finding times to work out and stuff.
05:05So when I'm home, I like to go pretty much every single day, whether it's with you or
05:09like SoulCycle or just other classes at Poe, yoga a lot.
05:13Yeah.
05:14But it's tough with a busy schedule to kind of like find time in there to work out.
05:19On a show like Stranger Things, it's such a big ensemble show.
05:22So we're not necessarily working every single day.
05:24But on the last project that I did, I worked every single day for like 11-ish hours.
05:29So there was no time to do anything.
05:31And then on the weekends, all I wanted to do was sleep.
05:33So that's kind of when it gets tricky.
05:37But yeah, it's definitely important to kind of stay fit throughout the filming process.
05:40Oh, that's got to be crazy.
05:41Maybe you should take Dwayne with you on the road.
05:42Yeah, I should write that into my contract.
05:45You have to provide housing and fly my trainer down.
05:50Make sure I'm there on Stranger Things.
05:51He would like that.
05:52Right.
05:53Stranger Things with me, your trainer, Dwayne.
05:55Yeah.
05:56That'd be great.
05:56You get a credit.
05:57Yeah, get a credit.
05:58Exactly.
05:58A little small one.
05:59Like a paddle trainer.
06:00They go really fast.
06:01Right.
06:02I'm right there.
06:02There we go.
06:04It'd be the last credit on the bottom.
06:08So I know, and I'm just going to say, you're vegan.
06:11Mm-hmm.
06:11Is it difficult to, when you're on the road, to maintain?
06:17Yeah, for sure.
06:18I mean, I think I've kind of, I've been vegan for four years now.
06:22So basically, I've like pretty much gotten used to it at this point.
06:25And it's like, it's not even something that I think about.
06:27But yeah, I went, I was vegetarian for a year before I went vegan.
06:32And it's not, it's not too tricky, especially on set.
06:36Like they're really, they have a lot of options for you.
06:40So it's not that hard to find food.
06:41And Atlanta has great vegan food.
06:43Yeah.
06:44Really good vegan food.
06:45That's where they shoot Stranger Things.
06:46Yeah, that's where we film.
06:47Yeah.
06:48Yeah.
06:49I was trying to think down south.
06:50What were we talking about, Lori, earlier?
06:52Soul food.
06:53Soul food.
06:55Not vegan.
06:56Not vegan.
06:58Soul food.
06:59Soul food.
07:00Is your whole family vegan?
07:02No.
07:03My family's actually from Texas.
07:05So like before, I ate a lot of meat before I went vegetarian and vegan.
07:10Yeah.
07:11So like, bread, barbecue, everything.
07:11And how did you decide to make that change?
07:15Well, when I first went vegetarian, I think my English teacher like recommended this documentary
07:22that kind of exposed the animal agriculture industry.
07:25Oh, I know about it.
07:26So then I watched that.
07:27And then I went to my friend and I was like, man, I feel really bad.
07:30Like, I think I should go vegetarian.
07:31And she's like, you wouldn't last a week.
07:34And then, yeah, exactly.
07:35So I was like, oh, is that a challenge?
07:38Yeah, exactly.
07:38So then I did it for a year.
07:40And then, yeah, and then I did like a project that I think a lot of the cast members and
07:46crew members were vegan.
07:47So I was just kind of like exposed to that lifestyle a lot more than I had been.
07:52And so, yeah.
07:52And then I kind of, without me really knowing it, I just kind of started to like incorporate
07:56more vegan foods into my diet.
07:58And I was like vegan like three or four days out of the week.
08:01And then, so it wasn't ever really something that was like, oh, I'm going to go vegan right
08:05now.
08:05It was just like a gradual change.
08:08And then, of course, I started looking into like the benefits of it as far as like how
08:11it's better for the environment and then your health and obviously the animals as well.
08:14I used to be vegetarian for a while.
08:16Laura said, she'd think I don't eat.
08:18She said I don't eat.
08:20Leave.
08:21She's picky.
08:22Well, okay.
08:23Well, you know, I was a vegetarian.
08:24I would, I mean, I was a real vegetarian, the guy that ate the right foods.
08:29I didn't just be a vegetarian and go eat a piece of candy, you know, because I'm a vegetarian
08:34and eat, I mean, cookies, you know.
08:35Yeah.
08:35Now, I was a vegetarian where I didn't eat, you know, meat, period.
08:40I would just eat all of the vegetables and I would steam my vegetables, you know.
08:46And then I gradually reintroduced salmon, fish back into my diet.
08:52And then from there, chicken and that's it, you know.
08:56Do you feel different?
08:59I mean, I can't really say because I kind of, I started this when I was like pretty young.
09:05So there was no real big changes that I felt.
09:08But kind of like how you were saying, there's a lot like vegan or vegetarian.
09:11It doesn't always mean healthy.
09:13It don't always mean healthy.
09:14There's plenty of like vegetarian, vegan junk food you can get.
09:17And I think like when I first started going vegan, I just kind of found myself eating
09:23all the foods that I had already been eating that just happened to be vegan.
09:27So it wasn't necessarily all that healthy.
09:29So yeah, you have to be smart about it.
09:33But we have a new in Westfield, a new like a Cinnabon.
09:38Oh, that's vegan.
09:39Oh my.
09:40That's vegan called Cinnaholic.
09:42Oh, it's so good.
09:43It is so good.
09:44But I think people think because it says they're vegan that they're like some sort of health
09:49food.
09:50Right.
09:50Oh yeah, it's vegan.
09:51I'm pretty sure there's like a thousand or more calories per and all the sugar per cinnamon.
09:57They're delicious.
09:58It's not duck donuts, is it?
10:00It's not duck donuts.
10:04Oh my goodness, duck donuts first open, boy.
10:07Yeah, Mini-Me and I would be a first in line.
10:10Yeah, and Asher.
10:11Asher too.
10:12Oh my goodness.
10:13I've never seen if I put bacon on top of a donut.
10:18What?
10:19It's a thing.
10:20Yes.
10:20It's a thing.
10:21That doesn't sound right.
10:22It doesn't sound right.
10:24It doesn't sound right.
10:24It's not right.
10:25It's a thing.
10:26Bacon on a donut, that is like, ah.
10:31It's like pineapple on pizza.
10:33That's like the big debate.
10:34Well, I agree with you there.
10:35I don't like pineapple on my pizza.
10:36Yeah, but some people love it.
10:37It's a huge debate.
10:39People love it.
10:39Pineapple on pizza, I mean.
10:41Definitely.
10:42It's like one of those big things.
10:43You know, I must say this.
10:47Finally, I did well.
10:48Lori, I think she binge watched all of the show, right?
10:51Of what show?
10:52Stranger Things.
10:52Oh, that show.
10:53That show.
10:54That show.
10:55That one.
10:56And so I just went on YouTube, just trying to just catch a character.
10:59I told her about this.
11:01And I was like, no.
11:03That's not.
11:03No, that's not the Sadie I know.
11:05She said, what?
11:06Oh, my goodness.
11:08She said, she beat the boy.
11:09Oh, she had the guy with the bat.
11:10What is it?
11:11Well, I remember I came into training, and you looked at me.
11:13You're like, Sadie.
11:14I'm like, Sadie.
11:15You're so mean on this show.
11:18You're like, who?
11:19I was like, that's.
11:20Oh, my God.
11:21I'm like, Max.
11:22I'm like, oh, you're tough.
11:25Yeah.
11:25But in real life, she's a sweetheart.
11:29She sees a sweetheart.
11:30It's a real transformation.
11:31So I tell her.
11:32So when we're boxing sometimes, I tell her, I say, I need to see Max.
11:36Especially when she gets tired.
11:37Yeah.
11:37I need to see Max.
11:38Bring Max out.
11:39Would your mom say it's a real transformation?
11:41I mean, I guess.
11:43I mean, I guess she would say that.
11:44When was the first time you used a fan?
11:45What did your mother say?
11:46She went.
11:47Well, I mean, not really.
11:48That's just like a part of acting.
11:49But I remember when I was like 10, I refused, or like 10 or like 12, I refused to say
11:56any
11:56bad words, even for like auditions or anything.
12:00It was like a whole thing.
12:01I was like, I'm not saying any bad words.
12:03But then it's just kind of, it's something you have to do.
12:05You got to get over it.
12:06Oh, my gosh.
12:07You're tough.
12:07Well, they actually say people who curse are actually healthier because they're releasing
12:12their stress.
12:13Yep.
12:14All right.
12:15I know some people release a lot of stress.
12:18I'm not calling no names, man.
12:23Release a lot of stress.
12:25You're stirring a pot over here.
12:26Release a lot of stress.
12:28But yeah, so, you got some recipes?
12:31I mean, I guess.
12:32Come on.
12:33Chef Sadie.
12:34Chef Sadie.
12:35Your new career.
12:36My new career.
12:37Yeah.
12:38All right.
12:39I mean, I guess.
12:40Well, okay.
12:40One of my like go-tos when I, well, because now it's tricky because I went gluten-free
12:44like six months ago.
12:46Oh, wow.
12:46You're a poor mom.
12:47I know.
12:48I just want to make things as difficult as possible.
12:51But yeah, I kind of like.
12:53Okay.
12:53What did you cook for Thanksgiving?
12:55Your mother was telling me.
12:56Oh, for Thanksgiving.
12:57You did a whole vegan thing, right?
12:59I did.
12:59I mean, yeah.
13:00Did the whole family eat it?
13:00I tried to.
13:01But the thing is, it's kind of sad when I like cook a whole Thanksgiving meal, but it's just
13:06me eating it.
13:07Oh, no.
13:08So yeah.
13:08So I try to find things that like everyone will enjoy.
13:11But what did I make for Thanksgiving this year?
13:13I think like the cauliflower is usually like your turkey or whatever.
13:17Yeah.
13:17Super sad.
13:18But whatever.
13:20Cauliflower.
13:20Yeah, exactly.
13:21Cauliflower turkey.
13:23But yeah, it was kind of because I love to cook.
13:25So it was kind of hard.
13:26And I have a big family.
13:27So I like cooking for everyone.
13:29So it was hard to find stuff that I could eat and everyone would still enjoy.
13:33But yeah, there's this like lasagna that I would make.
13:36It's not gluten free.
13:37So I can't really have it now.
13:38But like everyone would really like it.
13:39I like butternut squash and spinach.
13:41That sounds good.
13:41Yeah.
13:42Some kind of like Alfredo sauce or cream sauce or something.
13:44But yeah, everyone liked it.
13:46It's good.
13:47Look at you.
13:48I know, right?
13:49Pretty.
13:50Oh my goodness.
13:51That's pretty cool, man.
13:53Well, you know you can make cauliflower buffalo wings.
13:56Wait, I made that the other day.
13:57Cauliflower buffalo wings?
13:59Yeah.
13:59Asher has me make those for him.
14:02You broil the cauliflower and then you put it in the buffalo sauce.
14:06Yeah.
14:07Cauliflower is having like a real moment right now.
14:09It is.
14:10Pizza crust.
14:11You have cauliflower mashed potatoes.
14:13Everything.
14:14Everything.
14:15But there's a there's also there's this thing called Purple Carrot, which is like they deliver
14:20recipes with all the ingredients that you need.
14:23You have like three or you can choose how many meals you want, but they'll send all the
14:26ingredients along with the recipes and you can just yeah, you can like cook everything.
14:32It's all there.
14:33So I've been doing that a lot because that way I don't have to go to the grocery store.
14:36Like everything's just there for me to cook.
14:38Look at you.
14:39I tell you.
14:41Jeez.
14:41Do you prep your meals?
14:43No, I haven't ever tried that.
14:45I feel like I should try that, though.
14:47I mean, especially when you're on set.
14:49Right.
14:49Yeah.
14:49That's something that I did for the last movie I did.
14:51We just had someone kind of bring meals for the week that I could just take on set because
14:56at that point it was kind of because some productions are better than others about like
15:00catering to like specific dietary restrictions.
15:04So I just kind of brought my own food because I don't want to be like too much of a
15:07problem.
15:08You know, when I when I first met Sadie, she came in.
15:13I didn't know who she was.
15:14I'll be honest because I didn't watch the show.
15:16And Dora, Dora, Dora.
15:18How do you pronounce Dora?
15:19The guy behind the front desk.
15:21The big, the guy.
15:22Oh, yeah.
15:22I know.
15:23Dora.
15:23I think so.
15:24Yeah.
15:24Dora.
15:24I think that's your name.
15:25Dora.
15:26Dora?
15:27The explorer.
15:28Dora.
15:30Dora.
15:31It's fun.
15:31Is Dora a Doran?
15:32A Doran?
15:33It's okay.
15:33He just learned my name.
15:35All right.
15:35Land away.
15:35Land away.
15:36He said, you know what that is?
15:37I'm like, no.
15:38He's like, that's Sadie Sink.
15:40I'm like, okay.
15:42He said, from the show Stranger Things.
15:43I'm like, I heard of it.
15:45And then I had to go check it out.
15:48But so you play, you know, she played Annie.
15:51I do.
15:52Yeah.
15:52Oh, you did your research?
15:53I always do my research.
15:54She played Annie.
15:55Oh, boy.
15:56Yeah.
15:56How was that?
15:57That was fun.
15:58Do you remember that?
15:59How old were you?
16:00Yeah.
16:00I mean, I basically played Annie from like age nine to 11, basically.
16:06So Annie in the show was actually, what was the age?
16:11Supposedly.
16:12Like 10.
16:13Oh, so she really was 10.
16:14Okay.
16:14Yeah.
16:14But I kind of, it was funny.
16:16I like worked my way through all of it.
16:19All of it.
16:20No, I'm not doing it.
16:21Come on.
16:22This is not a concert.
16:23I'm not warmed up.
16:25We're not doing this.
16:25Put it in the day tomorrow.
16:26Put your bottom dollar dot tomorrow.
16:28There you go.
16:29We could be an Annie.
16:31I give that Annie.
16:32Yeah.
16:32I need red hair.
16:33We could do it.
16:34You need hair period.
16:35I wore a wig for it.
16:35Thanks, thanks, Lori.
16:36You're welcome.
16:37Yeah, she's this punchline over here.
16:39Yeah, but I did it at like a community theater.
16:44Okay.
16:44And then like Annie Jr.
16:46And like Sandy was like a boy, like a boy played Sandy.
16:49It wasn't a real dog.
16:50And then after that, I did it like at a regional theater.
16:53So it was like a step above it.
16:54And then I think like later that year, I auditioned for the Broadway production.
16:59And then I got in as a swing at first, which is like, that means I covered all of the
17:05roles
17:05for the girls.
17:06So I had to learn, I think there was like eight tracks that I had to learn.
17:10Wow.
17:10That's a lot.
17:11So I did that for, I think like six months or eight months maybe.
17:16And then for the last few months, I was in it for 14.
17:19So for the last few months I did, I played Annie.
17:22Wow.
17:23Yeah.
17:23It was fun though.
17:24That's a lot.
17:24That's a crazy experience.
17:26Yeah.
17:26See, I don't know.
17:27I'd be ad-libbing that all the time.
17:29Dwayne, that's not the role.
17:30That's not the wrong thing.
17:31I'm like, I can't remember all that stuff.
17:33That's a lot.
17:34Yeah.
17:34That's a lot.
17:35So you have to remember all your lines or be ad-lib?
17:38I mean, the lines are never, those were never really a problem for me.
17:41The hardest part is just remembering like the blocking and the dances and kind of like
17:45all the singing tracks.
17:46Well, in Stranger Things, do they allow you to ad-lib or?
17:48Yeah.
17:49It depends on the scene though.
17:50Some scenes kind of everything has to be performed exactly as written.
17:55And then other scenes, like there's room for some, like to improvise and stuff.
18:00Yeah.
18:00But yeah, it depends.
18:01Yeah.
18:02I don't, I'm not too confident in my improv skills.
18:06Yeah.
18:06It just depends though.
18:07It depends on the scene.
18:09Do they have bloopers?
18:10Yeah.
18:10They actually did release a blooper reel recently.
18:12Oh, really?
18:13Really?
18:13Yeah.
18:13I'm not on it that much though.
18:15I know.
18:15Oh, that's a good thing, right?
18:16I guess it's a good thing.
18:17That's positive.
18:18Yeah.
18:19I would be the main.
18:21Oh, you'd be messed up.
18:22I would be the main one on the blooper.
18:24They'd have a dance scene.
18:27And Laura, you'd be totally like, no, you'd be totally messed up.
18:30They'd say, no, no, no, cut, cut, cut.
18:32It's like that show with Will Smith and Hitch.
18:38Hitch.
18:38Hitch.
18:39And what's the guy named the other actor?
18:42The heavy guy.
18:43He was in the movie with Hitch.
18:44And he was dancing and we're also going to say, this is you right here.
18:48Stay here.
18:48Oh, yeah.
18:49Stay here.
18:49Stay here.
18:50And he just saw it going crazy.
18:52He said, stop.
18:52Don't you ever do that again.
18:55That would be me.
18:57The spastic one.
18:58Yeah.
18:58Don't you ever do that again.
19:00That's funny.
19:00This past Saturday night, the local firefighters had their annual dinner and I work with them.
19:06I train them for, not for firefighting because I don't know how to do that, but for physical
19:12training.
19:12And so I was at the dinner and they know I can't dance.
19:16Not even like a little bit.
19:19So the whole goal was get Lori on the dance floor.
19:21Can any of your kids dance?
19:23Anna's probably the most.
19:25She just gymnastic.
19:26She's probably the most.
19:27That requires some dancing.
19:29Yeah.
19:30I'll come to one of the meets.
19:32That's right.
19:33She's like, no.
19:34She was telling me no.
19:35Are you going to come to one of my swim meets?
19:37You're going to swim.
19:38All of a sudden, what was it?
19:41Thursday.
19:42She decided, I think I want to swim.
19:47I'm like, when do you have time to swim?
19:50I want to be on a swim team.
19:52I just need to find an entry level swim team in the New Jersey area.
19:57Yeah, but when do you have time?
19:58You're going to miss the meets.
19:59That's true.
20:00I bet if you're local Y, you could jump on one of their teams.
20:03Yeah?
20:04I bet.
20:04I mean, see if they have space.
20:06I would gladly join.
20:08I know that the YMCA's and the JCC's all have swim teams you could jump on.
20:13Yeah.
20:13You could jump on.
20:14Because my mom was like, you and my mom are both like, you can't just join a swim team.
20:19You can't just join a team.
20:20Yeah, you're probably right.
20:21But then, so my mom took me to the pool and she was like, okay, we're going to swim.
20:25And I did it.
20:26Yeah.
20:26I swam.
20:27Okay.
20:28So you got your-
20:29I bet Lifetime has a team she could jump on.
20:32A who?
20:32Lifetime.
20:34No.
20:35No.
20:35I don't have a team.
20:35No.
20:36They have teams.
20:36That's for kids.
20:38That's for 17 years.
20:39I need to join like a third graders swim team.
20:42Oh, goodness.
20:43Because that's about my skill level right there.
20:46A third grader?
20:47Yeah.
20:48Maybe a little better than that.
20:49But I did swim when I was younger.
20:51Yeah.
20:51I know you were telling me that.
20:52You did backstroke, right?
20:54Backstroke.
20:54That was my signature stroke.
20:55Yep.
20:58Oh, my goodness, man.
20:59So, listen.
21:00We got Sadie Sink on the show, guys.
21:01And she is an awesome young lady.
21:05So what you guys see on Max, that's, you know, that's totally different.
21:10But she is awesome, awesome, awesome.
21:13Right?
21:14Right?
21:14Maybe boxing girl.
21:15Yeah.
21:16Oops.
21:17She got some jazz.
21:18She got some punches, Lori.
21:20I've seen them.
21:21Yeah, man.
21:22Bob and Weave.
21:23Bob and Weave.
21:24Keep your hands up.
21:26I call it Duck.
21:27I got her nickname, too.
21:29I call it Strawberry.
21:30What was her name?
21:31We have several ones.
21:31Well, I thought you called.
21:32You said, yeah, you have several.
21:34You'll call me Max.
21:35I call it Max.
21:35Which I've just started, like, responding to at this point.
21:38You really did.
21:39You wouldn't respond to.
21:41I said, I want to see Max.
21:42Because you were so tired.
21:43Right.
21:44Well, yeah.
21:44It was the day when all I had was, like, it was, like, 2.30.
21:47And I think I just, like, had, like, a little bit of, like, a green juice.
21:50And you had me, like, boxing in, like, the heated room.
21:53I put her in the heated room.
21:54You put her in the heated room.
21:56Right.
21:56But I didn't tell.
21:57Oh, you're so mean.
21:57She was like, it was so hot.
21:59I didn't eat.
21:59I said, let's get out.
22:01What?
22:02I said, I want to see Max.
22:04And then I call you Strawberry.
22:06What's up?
22:06I'm like, it was a bad one.
22:08You called me something else.
22:10It was a tough one.
22:10It was really nice.
22:11It was Red Bull.
22:12It was Red Bull.
22:12Red Bull.
22:13Yeah.
22:13She said, I like that.
22:14Well, no.
22:15Because you didn't actually call me that.
22:17I just thought.
22:17I was like, did you just call me Red Bull?
22:19And you were like, no, but that's your nickname now.
22:21I'm like, okay, I'll take it.
22:22I like it.
22:24You may want to use that in the show.
22:27Red Bull.
22:29Oh, my goodness.
22:30So, Lori.
22:30Yes.
22:31I knew you had some pretty interesting questions for her.
22:33I've been asking them.
22:34Oh, you did?
22:35You got that on written down?
22:36I did.
22:37Okay.
22:38Okay.
22:39So, let me ask you something.
22:40When you see, and that one thing you're really good at, which I kind of like.
22:45That when fans come up to you, and they see you for the first time.
22:49I mean, kids, one thing, they get excited.
22:51But we used to be a full adult.
22:53And that lady, remember?
22:55Which one?
22:56Last week.
22:57Oh, and they're like, oh, this is for my kids.
22:59Yeah, no, those two.
23:00But the other lady took pictures with her.
23:02She got, she got all generous.
23:04Oh, yeah.
23:04So, when we was boxing, I walked past her.
23:07She go, is that?
23:09I said, yes.
23:09She said, oh, my God.
23:11Oh, my God.
23:12She jumped.
23:12She jumped.
23:13I said, what?
23:13She said, can I get a picture with her?
23:15I'm like, yeah, she ain't doing pictures.
23:17Okay, okay, okay, okay.
23:19She's hyperventilating.
23:20Right, yeah.
23:21So, when that happened, I mean, do you accept the fact that you're famous?
23:26I mean, do it.
23:27Have it hit you like that?
23:29I mean.
23:30I mean, I feel like, yeah, once I kind of started, like, realizing I had to, like, wear a hat
23:35to go certain places if I wanted to, like, run in and out of somewhere.
23:38But, honestly, I don't mind it.
23:39Like, I don't, I really don't mind taking pictures and stuff.
23:41Yeah.
23:42It's nice to know, like, the show has fans.
23:44Like, that's kind of what you want.
23:46Yeah, I don't, I don't mind.
23:47What was one of your favorite episodes?
23:49My favorite episode.
23:50I mean, season two is my favorite season of all time.
23:53Yeah, because you got to beat up people.
23:55Sure.
23:56That's just my favorite season because it was, I don't know, it was my first season.
24:00And I just loved all the episodes in that one.
24:02I love the Halloween one.
24:04I think it's episode two in season two.
24:06That's probably my favorite.
24:07Did you see that?
24:08I did see that.
24:08And your skateboarding skills, they're crazy.
24:12Lori wants you to teach her how to skateboard.
24:15I don't know if I'm qualified for that yet.
24:19I need padding all over my entire body.
24:21That's what they made me do.
24:23And helmet.
24:24Exactly.
24:24I had to wear elbow pads, knee pads, a helmet.
24:27It looked ridiculous.
24:28And then I would go to the skate park with my instructor.
24:31And, like, nobody wears, anyone who actually skateboards, nobody wears helmets or, like, anything.
24:35Like, skateboarders are fearless.
24:37So, then I, like, roll up to the skate park and I've got, like, basically, I'm, like, padded everywhere.
24:42I'm such a dork.
24:44But safety first, kids.
24:46But they, they, they, did you do most of the scenes?
24:50I mean, yeah.
24:51Well, I remember there was, like, this one stunt that I could do.
24:55And I'd been practicing, like, three hours every single day after, after school for, like, like, a few months leading
25:02up to filming.
25:03And even while we were still filming.
25:05But there was this one stunt that I had practiced and I could do it.
25:08I think it was just basically just, like, circling around this kid.
25:13But then I got there and they're, like, no, no, no.
25:15We're going to have this stunt double-do.
25:16We don't want you to get hurt.
25:17I'm, like, man, I practiced this.
25:18All this practice you've been doing.
25:20Yeah, exactly.
25:21Yeah.
25:22I'm, like.
25:22That's so disappointing, huh?
25:23But you know what?
25:24It would have better than, like, me falling and getting hurt and it being their fault.
25:27So, yeah.
25:28We got Sadie Sink on the show, guys, from the show Stranger Things, a.k.a. Max.
25:34Max.
25:34What other projects do you have coming up?
25:37Well, season four.
25:38That's going to take up, like, a big chunk of my year.
25:42And then I've got, like, a few things in store that are just, like, different.
25:45And we're also graduating from school.
25:49Graduating.
25:49I'm a senior in high school.
25:51We're graduating from high school.
25:53That's awesome.
25:55Now, will you go to a prom, though?
25:57No.
25:58I've said ever since I was in, like, first grade.
26:00I'm, like, school dances are stupid.
26:01I don't want to go to any of those, like, proms or anything.
26:06So, no.
26:07I probably won't go.
26:08You won't go.
26:08But how, like, funny would it be if, like, all the Stranger Things kids, like, came together
26:12and, like, crashed a random prom?
26:14Yeah.
26:15I feel like that would be fun.
26:16That would be kind of cool.
26:17Right?
26:18Madness.
26:18But it would be fun.
26:19Yeah, that would be cool.
26:20I think you just also had something just happen a few weeks ago.
26:25Had a beautiful dress on.
26:27Oh, yes.
26:28Yeah.
26:28Oh, my God.
26:29The SAG Awards.
26:30That dress was beautiful.
26:33I know you were so –
26:34I was more excited.
26:34Dwayne was more excited about the awards than I was.
26:36I know you've been talking about it for a while.
26:38I can't wait to see the awards.
26:40Every day you were just like, okay, wait.
26:41He's like, are you watching the awards?
26:42I'm so excited.
26:43I'm like, it's really, like, okay.
26:44Did you get to pick your own dress out?
26:46Yeah, so basically you kind of get to choose from a few designers, and then we went with
26:51Gucci this year, and they had, like, three different gowns for me to try on, and then
26:56it was just kind of, like, everyone on my team decided, but with the one that I went
27:00with, it was kind of, like, the best by far.
27:02That was pretty good.
27:02It was nice.
27:04Yep.
27:05Pra and Poe looking at her.
27:08Oh, my God.
27:09Look at her arms.
27:10She's in shape.
27:11She's looking great.
27:12Dwayne's like, thank you.
27:13I was like, thank you.
27:14Dwayne's like, yep, that's me.
27:15That's no push-ups, which she hates doing.
27:18She hates push-ups.
27:20Oh, push-ups, running up and down the stairs.
27:22Yeah.
27:22Oh, my goodness.
27:24But, yeah, he's really, really, really good.
27:26Because I kept looking, and I'm like, why she's not in these photos?
27:30But you got, did somebody get, did y'all get lost?
27:34Yeah, we kind of, I showed up a little late.
27:36It wasn't that big of a deal, because a lot of, like, the cast photo that they took, a lot
27:40of people weren't in there, because we have a big cast.
27:42It was hard to kind of, like, round everybody up.
27:44Get everybody together.
27:44Yeah, exactly.
27:45But we did forget the tickets before we left.
27:49Who forgot the tickets?
27:50Your mother?
27:51Or you?
27:51I don't want to point fingers.
27:53I'm not going to point fingers.
27:55Mom in the next room.
27:56We both should have remembered it.
27:58She probably wasn't laughing.
27:58A lot of people dropped the ball.
28:00A lot of people should have remembered it.
28:01Always the mom's fault.
28:02It was not, no.
28:03I never blamed her.
28:04I hear her laughing.
28:05That's my girl.
28:05It is nobody's fault.
28:08I'll take the blame.
28:09But, yeah, we left the tickets.
28:10You hear that, Mom?
28:11She's a good girl.
28:11Yeah, I'm taking the blame for you.
28:15We left the tickets.
28:17And then, it wasn't, like, we just ended up being, like, a 15, 20-minute thing.
28:19It's like today, I'm waiting for them, right?
28:21I said, I need you guys to meet me at Stage House, you know what I'm talking about.
28:25I thought I could have said Scotch Plane, so I'm sitting there waiting, waiting.
28:29He said, well, we're almost here.
28:31You know what I'm saying?
28:32I said, I was here.
28:33We're on 22.
28:34You should be crossing 22.
28:35We got to make a U-turn.
28:37I said, U-turn where?
28:38I'm sitting there with my lights, my flashes, and I'm thinking, like, try to see the car.
28:43I said, you have a black car?
28:44She said, yeah.
28:45No, it's gray.
28:47Like, you're in a black truck?
28:48And she's like, she goes, yes.
28:50Yes.
28:50Well, actually, it's gray.
28:51It's a Jeep.
28:54And I'm sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting, and, like, we're here.
28:57I think I have a lot in common with your mom.
28:59Yeah.
29:00Oh, she put this girl's GPS from here to the store.
29:03I honestly, yeah, I have a lot of respect, though.
29:06GPS is our friend.
29:07I couldn't park in front of, I couldn't do street parking.
29:09Oh, my goodness.
29:10I mean, Lori, we left the studio.
29:13Lori went out.
29:14I don't think she's behind me.
29:16And I'm like, Lori, where are you at?
29:18She's like, I don't know.
29:19I said, Lori, she was on her way to Rollway.
29:23Like, I was like, oh, my goodness.
29:25So, anyway, guys, we got to say this thing here.
29:27We're so happy to have you.
29:28I know.
29:29I'm glad we finally got to do this.
29:31Finally got to do this.
29:32Yes, we did.
29:32Can we trade tomorrow?
29:34We are trading.
29:35Yeah, we are trading tomorrow.
29:36Yeah, because I missed last session.
29:38Yeah, because you was in New York.
29:39Yep.
29:39Done a nice photo shoot.
29:40Doing a very nice photo shoot.
29:41All right.
29:42So, I happen to have Lori sing.
29:44Right?
29:45Yeah.
29:45That's kind of cool.
29:46Max, a.k.a. Max.
29:48Yep.
29:48All right.

29:54Yeah.

30:00But, yeah, we'll text every once in a while.
30:03That's cool.
30:03But it's kind of, it's one of those things where it's like, we may not even talk to each
30:07other at all while we're not filming, but then when we come together, it picks up right
30:13where it left off.
