00:00Today we are going to take a look at this absolute damage control coming from Barack
00:05Obama.
00:05So I saw Tim Poole make a response to this and I didn't agree with it at all.
00:10I think he missed the underlying issue with this article.
00:15Tim agreed with it.
00:16Tim was like, oh the democrats are going too far left, Obama's right.
00:19So I want to respond to this article myself.
00:23Obama says average American doesn't want to tear down the system.
00:27Children, what is the system in this instance?
00:32Well, the system, the democratic establishment, the corporate donors, big pharma, the military
00:39industrial complex, former President Barack Obama in an address to liberal donors warned
00:43candidates not to go too far left and sought to calm those who were concerned about the
00:50state of the democratic primary.
00:52Former President Barack Obama offered an unusual warning to the democratic primary field on
00:57Friday evening, cautioning the candidates not to move too far left, even as he sought
01:03to reassure a party establishment worried about the electoral strength of their historically
01:08large primary field.
01:10He sought to reassure a party establishment worried.
01:15worried.
01:15The DNC is scared, they are losing control.
01:18The establishment is scared, they are losing control.
01:22So they are in full damage control mode.
01:24And that is what this article is.
01:27This isn't Barack Obama being like, oh, we're too far left.
01:31It's scary.
01:32No, this is Obama saying, me and my fraction of the democrat party want to keep you all in
01:40this little box.
01:42In this little status quo box.
01:44The fact that Tim Pool saw this as Barack Obama being correct to calm the nerves of the
01:51DNC is crazy to me.
01:54I'm just confused at how you could see the DNC crumbling and not just feel overwhelming joy.
02:04Speaking before a room full of wealthy liberal donors, I'm confident that at the end of the
02:09process we will have a candidate that has been tested.
02:14The fucking cult ass shit going on here.
02:17Tested and approved by the DNC.
02:20Sorry Tulsi, sorry Yang, sorry Bernie, you didn't pass the test.
02:24While Obama did not single out any specific primary candidate or policy positions, he cautioned
02:31that the universe of voters that could support a democratic candidate, democrats, independents,
02:36and moderate republicans, are not driven by the same views reflected on certain left-leaning
02:42twitter fields or the left-wing blah blah blah.
02:45So, Obama is subtweeting Bernie here.
02:50We all know he is.
02:51One million individual small donors.
02:55This idea that Bernie isn't popular or that his positions aren't popular is insane to me.
03:01Alright, healthcare.
03:02I guess he's talking about universal healthcare here.
03:05About 75% of people support universal healthcare.
03:09About 50 something Republicans support it too.
03:14Donald Trump himself before he got into office liked universal healthcare.
03:20Which is upsetting that he got into office and then just kind of said fuck it.
03:26Acknowledging that candidates must push past his achievements, Mr. Obama urged his party
03:31candidates not to push too far as he urged them to adopt a message that would allow them
03:37to compete in all corners of the country.
03:40So, just like I said in my last video, again, the most popular candidates among Trump voters,
03:47among Trump supporters, are Bernie, Tulsi, and Yang.
03:52You can argue Yang and Tulsi are less far left than Bernie, but they're more left than most
03:58of the candidates running.
03:59I see a lot of people confusing far left with, like, wacky, crazy, dumb people like Kamala
04:07and Biden.
04:08And moderate with, like, calm, cool people with good policies.
04:12But that's not what it is.
04:14When it comes to policy, Bernie, Tulsi, Yang, and Warren are more far left than most of the
04:22people in the race.
04:23And Biden, Kamala, Klobuchar are the moderates.
04:27People get this mixed up all the time.
04:29Just like when people call themselves centrist, just because they think both sides are dumb.
04:34But I'm not a centrist, and I think both sides are dumb.
04:37It's the same energy.
04:38It's like, moderate centrist doesn't really mean cool, calm, and collected.
04:45And far left doesn't mean crazy SJW identity politics.
04:50Tulsi and Yang always get confused for, like, oh, they're the more moderate Democrats.
04:55No, they're not.
04:56Yang is pushing for UBI.
04:58That is not at all moderate.
05:01That's not a moderate position.
05:02You can even say that it's more extreme than Bernie's.
05:06Because Bernie's policies are already intact in places all across the world.
05:11Bernie can walk into most European countries.
05:15Could walk into fucking Denmark, Norway, all these places, and he's a fucking centrist.
05:21Tulsi speaks in a non-partisan language, and that's why I love her.
05:26She brings everyone together.
05:28But her policies are left-wing.
05:29But yeah, this is basically Obama saying, don't vote for a non-establishment candidate, okay?
05:35They're too far left.
05:36They're crazy.
05:37But then you look at polls of Trump voters.
05:39The most far left candidates are the most popular.
05:45They're popular on the internet.
05:47They're popular with young people.
05:49Establishment-aligned Democrats, top donors, and some strategists have expressed fears that the party lacks a strong enough candidate to
05:57defeat Donald Trump.
05:58This article falls perfectly with my last video I did about the DNC's damage control.
06:05Holy shit.
06:07Obama isn't talking about the screechy SJWs that annoy you on the internet.
06:12He's not talking about that left.
06:15He's talking about the anti-establishment candidates that we all love.
06:21If you personally think that the Democrats have gone too far left in their policies, yes, that's your opinion.
06:29But let's not pretend that that's what Obama is doing here.
06:33It just so happens the anti-establishment types want to get money out of politics.
06:36So of course Obama's gonna be like, don't worry, everything will be fine.
06:42We'll make sure they're tested.
06:44Mr. Obama has expressed interest at different times in rising stars like the former representative Beto O'Rourke of Texas.
06:51Are you kidding me?
06:53So Bernie Sanders, he's too extreme, guys, with his healthcare and all that shit.
06:57You know, that's too extreme.
06:59But Beto O'Rourke, the guy who has literally said that he wants police to break down your door,
07:06and take your guns.
07:08That guy's cool.
07:10That guy's awesome.
07:11Vote for that guy.
07:12Oh, too bad.
07:13He's gone.
07:13Beto O'Rourke's gone.
07:14But still, what?
07:15Yeah, so this was just funny.
07:17It's funny to see the establishment worried and panicking that they're losing power.
07:21That they're losing grasp on the people.
07:23So they pretend that the people don't actually agree with all the anti-establishment Democrats.
07:30No, nobody likes them, guys.
07:31Like, don't worry about them.
07:32Nobody likes them.
07:33The average American doesn't like all these anti-establishment people.
07:37Don't worry, old rich donors.
07:39And people are falling for this.
07:41People I follow.
07:43People I watch on YouTube are falling for this establishment hackery.
07:48For this better things aren't possible.
07:51Just, you hate to see it.
07:53Just, I wonder there why the Lichtman don't have to laugh at it.
07:53But only the women say that, guys.
