00:30Down there is home base for Lubricus terrestris,
00:33the scientific name for worms.
00:35Wherever you walk, there are worms underneath you.
00:39They push through the soil with their long, thin bodies,
00:42contracting and expanding as they move.

00:49It's amazing to think that a whole community of worms
00:52spend their whole lives living right underneath the ground we walk on.

01:01if we could collect all the worms under this baseball field,
01:06which is an area about an acre in size,

25:23After we put the food in, we take some leaves and you cover it up.

25:29So, you cover a layer with leaves.
25:32Now we cover the bin and wait.
25:34We'll break it down and turn it into dirt.

25:43Alright, everybody, let's take some dirt and take it to the garden.
