00:00:22Hello, I'm Chief Williams, and I'm here to help the city of Wilmington, North Carolina
00:00:27with an initiative we're calling Destroy 19. And what this is, is that we are taking our own
00:00:34responsibility for stopping the COVID virus in our community. In order to do that, we're going to
00:00:39have to take some extreme measures. You will not be able to leave your home for any reason while
00:00:43this is going on. Emergency crews are standing by to help you with anything you could possibly need
00:00:49during this time. Also, we don't know how long this is going to last, so the county has informed me
00:00:56that utilities will run free of charge until this is over. And one last thing, I implore you,
00:01:03do not ingest or inject over-the-counter disinfectant into your bodies.
00:01:08I implore you, do not ingest or inject over-the-counter disinfectant into your bodies.
00:01:46And if you snitch, I'll kill you.
00:01:50Hello, thank you.
00:04:32We got this.
00:04:36Why are we supposed to live like this?
00:04:40We already got rid of the thing.
00:04:46Well, none of this is over until it is gone and forgotten about.
00:04:52I can take care of that.
00:04:53You better.
00:04:56This is all your fault.
00:05:02It may be all my fault, but you're reaping all the benefits.
00:05:36And don't fall in here.
00:05:39And don't fall in here.
00:05:40I said what I said.
00:05:42The whole life I live, gotta do it my way like this in my truck.
00:05:48What else you'd expect from a girl like her?
00:05:55We walk along the road.
00:05:57We walk along the road to see them come.
00:05:58You see them go and you say what you think.
00:06:01Going up, going down.
00:06:04Like a cyclone.
00:06:16Deandre.
00:06:20Deandre.

00:07:05It's me, Deidre.
00:07:07I have a situation I need help with.
00:07:12I really can't explain it over the phone.
00:07:21D'Andre, your food getting cold.
00:07:25When did you say me to help you?
00:07:28Look, I don't know, but I'm in serious trouble.
00:07:30I can't help.
00:07:31Members of the church were assigned elders.
00:07:33Idiot, this is life or death.
00:07:35Hold on, is this Jeremy?
00:07:36Boy, you can't fool me, I know that voice anyway.
00:07:39Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's me, Jeremy.
00:07:41Can you help me?
00:07:42Help!
00:07:43You owe me $40.
00:07:47I need my money.
00:07:48You're supposed to pay me over money, girl.
00:07:50That's why you ain't been to church.
00:08:09Do I have to eat your food if you took any longer?
00:08:18How did I get here?
00:08:23Love.
00:08:25Love.
00:08:26Love.
00:08:28Love.
00:08:29Love me.
00:08:31Love me.
00:08:33Love me.
00:08:34Not right now, eh?
00:08:36What?
00:08:36It's always now.
00:08:39Like, what's wrong with you?
00:08:41I need to be calling my pastor.
00:08:46Say that again now.
00:08:47It's so funny.
00:08:48I need to call my pastor.
00:08:49He's my friend.
00:08:53Give me for you.
00:08:54Baby.
00:09:01Wait a minute.
00:09:09Wait a minute.
00:09:20So who did God send?
00:09:23Me or them?
00:09:24Rashida stopped playing, alright?
00:09:26Me or them?
00:09:29Rashida stopped.
00:09:30Who did he send? Me or them?
00:09:32You, alright? You.
00:09:34Oh.
00:09:39I thought so.
00:09:44Look, we can't go nowhere, alright?
00:09:46What do you mean I can't go nowhere?
00:09:47We're on a statewide lockdown due to Corona.
00:09:50I don't care about that.
00:09:52Have you not been paying attention?
00:09:54We were on phase one, we're on phase two now.
00:09:56Soon it'll be three, four, they're not playing around with this.
00:10:05Wow.
00:10:07Yo, if that's the case,
00:10:10then what we gonna do
00:10:12with it?
00:10:15Dang.
00:10:17You almost shot.
00:10:23Yeah, I'm out here patrolling,
00:10:25making sure everybody's adhering to this quarantine order.
00:10:29They act like we didn't even have a quarantine order in effect.
00:10:33Making sure they're wearing masks,
00:10:35like they're supposed to.
00:10:40Yeah, I hear you.
00:10:41I hear you.
00:10:42But we're not just gonna rush in there and arrest her until we get concrete evidence.
00:10:46I don't really think we have enough to rush in there.
00:10:49It's too risky.
00:10:53A lot of quarantine is going on there.
00:10:54Can't fix these roads.
00:10:55It's ridiculous.
00:10:56I think we're wasting time, Chief.
00:10:59Look, we've been after this family for a long, long time.
00:11:02Marcus is in there right now in the house with Rashida to get the evidence that we need.
00:11:06Well, this is what I think we need to do.
00:11:09We need to go ahead and get the smart team prepared.
00:11:12When Marcus gets the evidence, we can send Rashida.
00:11:15Why am I even telling you this?
00:11:17I'm the police chief.
00:11:18You do what I say.
00:11:19You follow my rules or you find yourself a new job.
00:11:25I need to fix these roads to find this quarantine going on.
00:11:30I need to find a new job.
00:11:33Look at this one.

00:14:31If we don't, then the whole neighborhood is going to know about it.
00:14:37So, we're just going to dump it across the street.
00:14:42And wait until after it gets dark tonight.
00:14:48Listen, we don't really have much of a choice because if we don't handle it tonight,
00:14:52then we're not going to get another chance.
00:14:53They're going to be flooding the streets with the military soon.
00:14:58Okay, so then we just do it tonight.
00:15:01Like I said.
00:15:17Remember when we first met?
00:15:21Yeah.
00:15:23Yeah, I remember.
00:15:24It was so beautiful.
00:15:27What?
00:15:28It was beautiful.
00:15:32Hey, yo, didn't we meet at a McDonald's?
00:15:35Yeah, but it wasn't like you was one of those guys pulling up on me at the club with one
00:15:40of those fancy cars.
00:15:43What's so special about Mickey D's?
00:15:46It's what you said.
00:15:47How you made me feel.
00:15:50I remember when you said I was like a special gift to the world.
00:15:58Nobody's ever told me that.
00:16:00And when you said it, I know that you meant it.
00:16:06Yeah.
00:16:07Yeah, you were special.
00:16:09You are special.
00:16:11You'll do great things.
00:16:15And all those guys, they used to try to size me up, you know, giving me gifts.
00:16:22But that didn't work.
00:16:27But what you said, that meant a lot.
00:16:32It really did.
00:16:40Wow.
00:16:42Now, where have you been?
00:16:43Huh?
00:16:44What?
00:16:45Huh?
00:16:45What?
00:16:46No, where have you been?
00:16:47You see, now you're acting like the Rashida that I met that night at that restaurant.
00:16:52This is the Rashida that I know.
00:16:55I mean, I'm going to be honest with you.
00:16:56I walked into that place not expecting to meet someone so beautiful that shine so bright that knocked me off
00:17:04my feet.
00:17:06Where you been?
00:17:34I'm going to be honest.
00:17:41I'm going to be honest.
00:17:42I'm going to be honest.
00:18:45There's a bunch of planes outside.
00:18:47You hear that?
00:18:48Planes?
00:18:49Planes.
00:18:50Planes.
00:18:51It was all hard yesterday.
00:18:52Now you're scared of planes?
00:18:54Look, there's a lot of them.
00:18:56Are you serious?
00:18:58Yes.
00:18:58Go, go through the door.
00:19:10It's like phase one just started.
00:19:14Oh, shoot.
00:19:17What?
00:19:19What are we going to do about the room?
00:19:23How did we sleep through all this last night?
00:19:26You were playing freaking lovebirds.
00:19:27You got me all off my game.
00:19:30Lovebirds?
00:19:31No, you had us drinking that alcohol last night.
00:19:33That's what had us out.
00:19:35Man, whatever.
00:19:46I told you this was real.
00:19:53There's somebody knocking at the door.
00:19:56Let's go see.
00:19:57Shh.
00:19:58What do you mean, shh?
00:20:00Just be quiet and then they'll leave.
00:20:02Yeah, somebody's definitely at the door.
00:20:03Let's go see.
00:20:04Shh.
00:20:05What's wrong with you?
00:20:06You know we got in the room.
00:20:08Why are we going to let somebody in?
00:20:09Look, they already know.
00:20:10They already know.
00:20:11They know what?
00:20:12They know that we're in here.
00:20:13We got to answer it.
00:20:18Why are you writing this little scary for us?
00:20:19You just said it.
00:20:20Scared of planes?
00:20:21Scared of doors?
00:20:22If you say the coronavirus,
00:20:23why are we going to let somebody in?
00:20:27Hold on.
00:20:34I want some food out there.
00:20:36Shh.
00:20:37Shh.
00:20:37Shh.
00:20:37Shh.
00:20:38Shh.

00:20:38Shh.
00:20:39Shh.
00:20:40Shh.
00:20:44Can I help you?
00:20:46Yes, ma'am.
00:20:47I'm from the local police department.
00:20:48With the pandemic and everything going on,
00:20:50we're just coming around to check to make sure you're okay.
00:20:53Okay.
00:20:53We don't have time for that right now.
00:20:56Whoa.
00:20:57What are you doing?
00:20:58Can you move your foot?
00:21:00Excuse me.
00:21:00I don't mean to give you a hard time,
00:21:02but you're already coming to the door with no mask on.
00:21:04Mm-hmm.
00:21:04Hands kind of ashy,
00:21:05so I can tell you ain't got no hand sanitizer.
00:21:07Mm-hmm.
00:21:08And I could have sworn I heard a male voice
00:21:09before you opened the door.
00:21:10What does that have to do with the lockdown?
00:21:13Well, I'm just curious.
00:21:14I mean, why didn't he come to the door?
00:21:16Are y'all hiding something?
00:21:17No.
00:21:17Why do we have to hide something?
00:21:18Just because my husband didn't answer the door,
00:21:20we got to be hiding something?
00:21:22So you and your husband live here?
00:21:24Yes.
00:21:25And this is your house?
00:21:26Yes.
00:21:28And may I have your name, please, ma'am?

00:21:41but I'm going to have to check the premises.
00:21:42Can you back up, please?
00:21:44Can you please put on a mask
00:21:45and get some hand sanitizer?
00:21:46Excuse me, sir.

00:21:50You don't have a mask either.
00:21:51Do not let him in.
00:21:53What are we supposed to do?
00:21:54We got to do something.
00:21:56Why did you let him in here?
00:21:58If we didn't, we'd look suspicious.
00:22:00Forget him going through everything.
00:22:02Why are you hanging on the refrigerator?
00:22:03Oh, let's just chill out, man.
00:22:05This is what they do.
00:22:07I get it.
00:22:08Excuse me, officer.
00:22:09Y'all got something to drink?
00:22:10Why you got your mouth on my juice?
00:22:12Listen, ma'am,
00:22:13first of all, this ain't even fidgety.
00:22:14I don't even know what this is.
00:22:16Number two,
00:22:17I'm just in here doing my job.
00:22:19Now, I come in here,
00:22:19you ain't got no mask on,

00:22:23I could have been took you in a long time ago,
00:22:26but I ain't like that.
00:22:27See, your problem is
00:22:28you're worrying about the wrong thing.
00:22:30What you need to be worried about
00:22:32is why that man sitting on your leather couch
00:22:33and nothing but his drawers.
00:22:36Why you taking my water?
00:22:38I tell you what.
00:22:39Tell him to put some pants on,
00:22:40go to the store and get you some water.
00:22:42Oh, I forgot.
00:22:43It's a lockdown.
00:22:44You can't.
00:23:15It's a lockdown.
00:23:18He didn't check out temperatures.
00:23:20He was, like, snooping around the house.
00:23:23That's just how they do.
00:23:25Mm-mm.
00:23:26Like, did you see?
00:23:27He even went by the door where it is.
00:23:30He kept looking at us like,
00:23:32you think he knew?
00:23:35Somebody...
00:23:36I don't know.
00:23:37Never mind.
00:23:39Either way, we have a problem.
00:23:41What if this lockdown is for weeks?
00:23:49Maybe we can chop it up.
00:23:56Into little small pieces.
00:23:58No.
00:24:00No, we can't do it like that.
00:24:01That's the only way we can get it out of here.
00:24:03Look, I said no.
00:24:10Maybe we can figure out a way to burn it.
00:24:13Really?
00:24:14So that's an option right now.
00:24:17That is my dead wife in that room.
00:24:33Oh, okay.
00:24:34Now I see.
00:24:37It's not how.
00:24:38It's who.
00:24:41Don't do that.
00:24:42But you said you love me.
00:24:44I do love you.
00:24:45No, it's...
00:24:46To me, it feels like you still love her.
00:24:48Hey, yo.
00:24:49Quit making it.
00:24:50Calm down.
00:24:51Calm down.
00:24:51You liar.
00:24:53I'm not a liar.
00:24:54You lied to me.
00:24:56Listen, I did not lie to you, all right?
00:24:59You're the only man that told me that you love me,
00:25:01and I believe you.
00:25:02I do love you, okay?
00:25:04Just never stop loving her.
00:25:07You still love her.
00:25:07Stop playing with my heart, DeAndre.
00:25:12I guess she didn't even know she didn't love you.
00:25:16And how you know that?
00:25:19I know more than you think.
00:25:22I don't know that.
00:25:24I don't know.
00:25:30If you do it, then I'll snitch.
00:25:39Mark?
00:25:41I'm gonna get whatever is in here and chop your wife up like...
00:25:45...
00:25:48...
00:26:14I'm...
00:26:14I love you.
00:26:15I'm gonna do it.
00:26:19You said you was going to snitch on me.
00:26:22Whoa.
00:26:23You don't want to do this.
00:26:26Okay.
00:26:28Shoot me.
00:26:30Maybe you love me.
00:26:32Love you.
00:26:34Drop a gun.
00:26:35Okay.
00:26:37Drop a gun.
00:26:40Come on.
00:27:09I love you.
00:27:13And we're going to be together for heaven.
00:27:18You know when this is all over with,
00:27:21I want us to leave the country together.
00:27:23And live our best lives.
00:27:29Yes.
00:27:44What was that that you gave me?
00:27:47Something that helped me live my best life.
00:27:53I thought that you loved me.
00:27:57I do.
00:27:59But I love me more.
00:28:01Let me make this a little easy for you.
00:28:03Let's see.
00:28:06I don't know.
00:29:03I don't know.
00:29:07I'm waiting for you to wake up.
00:29:14You were planning to kill me, huh?
00:29:18If I wanted to kill you, I would have done that already.
00:29:23Besides, I can't kill my baby daddy.
00:29:26You're what?
00:29:30I can't kill my baby daddy.
00:29:36So, what are you trying to say?
00:29:42Baby daddy gotta be the dumbest man ever.
00:29:50You're pregnant?
00:29:54Yes.
00:29:58Why you lying for all that coke and alcohol?
00:30:04So how I know it's mine?
00:30:08What?
00:30:10Now one thing I know I never did to you, and that was cheat on you.
00:30:15Unlike your wife.
00:30:18What's that supposed to mean?
00:30:20Oh, gosh.
00:30:21You're so gullible.
00:30:25Everybody knew that.
00:30:26Even I knew that.
00:30:29That was a perfect opportunity for her.
00:30:32You know that?
00:30:33When she found out about me and you?
00:30:36Why-
00:30:37Why you think that she came home early that day?
00:30:42No, no.
00:30:43See, you're lying.
00:30:45My wife loved me.
00:30:47Oh, oh.
00:30:48My wife, she loved me.
00:30:50So, is this you?
00:30:54In this video?
00:30:57Nah.
00:31:05I'm out.
00:31:07I killed her, babe.
00:31:11You told me we would be together.
00:31:14It sounded like it was forever.
00:31:17Your phrases make me feel better.
00:31:19I thought I loved a stormy weather.
00:31:22You said I was the only one.
00:31:24But you got me the only ones.
00:31:27I see I'm not the only one.
00:31:30Who's feeling like the only one.
00:31:33Some call it stupid.
00:31:35Some say I'm an addict.
00:31:38I'm hooked on the stories you make.
00:31:42Tell me.
00:31:43Some say I'm clueless.
00:31:46But that's just not true.
00:31:48I know just what I'm doing.
00:31:51When I'm hooked on your beautiful lies.
00:31:55You love me.
00:31:57You need me.
00:31:58I'm beautiful.
00:31:59The only one.
00:32:01And baby, you're the only one.
00:32:03Who makes me feel.
00:32:07Like I am one of a kind.
00:32:12When you tell me those beautiful lies.
00:32:16You say, baby, I won't hurt you.
00:32:19No lie.
00:32:20Please trust me.
00:32:23You always put it on your life.
00:32:26And I may be too dumb to call you on your lies.
00:32:31There's no one to blame.
00:32:33Cause I keep giving it trust.
00:32:36Some call it stupid.
00:32:39Some say I'm an addict.
00:32:42I'm hooked on the stories.
00:32:44You make all the stories.
00:32:47Some say I'm clueless.
00:32:50But that's just not true.
00:32:52I know just what I'm doing.
00:32:55I'm hooked on your beautiful lies.
00:32:59You love me.
00:33:01You need me.
00:33:02I'm beautiful.
00:33:03The only one.
00:33:05And baby, you're the only one.
00:33:07Who makes me feel.
00:33:11Like I am one of a kind.
00:33:16When you tell me those beautiful lies.
00:33:20Some call it stupid.
00:33:22Some say I'm an addict.
00:33:24I'm hooked on the stories you make.
00:33:30Some say I'm clueless.
00:33:32But that's just not true.
00:33:35I know just what I'm doing.
00:33:38I'm hooked on your way.
00:33:39You know, all the work we put in to get this quarantine going
00:33:42and people just driving around like it doesn't even exist.
00:33:48Well, you look well for losing all that blood.
00:33:51Guess it didn't hit any vital organs.
00:33:53How you doing?
00:33:54I'm old enough.
00:33:55Good.
00:33:56Listen, Tia, I got a question to ask.
00:33:58And it's a serious question.
00:34:00I need an honest answer.
00:34:01Anything, Chief.
00:34:02What were you doing in the house while the investigation was going on?
00:34:05And Marcus was there.
00:34:07I was trying to grab something before it happened.
00:34:10Tia, I need an honest answer.
00:34:13What was going on?
00:34:14What was going on?
00:34:16You have my husband in my house with some skank doing who knows what?
00:34:20Claiming it's a part of the investigation?
00:34:23Was this a part of your plans, Chief?
00:34:26Tia, you know everything we do, we do for the A-Team.
00:34:29The A-Team.
00:34:31I must not be a part of the A-Team.
00:34:35You got my husband pretending to be in a relationship with some woman.
00:34:39Nobody asked me how I felt about it.
00:34:44She tried to kill me.
00:35:00What? What is it?
00:35:03They're checking houses.
00:35:07Yeah, it says they have 2,500 troops checking houses.
00:35:12If you don't let them in, they can force themselves in by law.
00:35:15Every house will not require a full search.
00:35:18A full search may be what it takes to get control of the coronavirus.
00:35:22Search begins now.
00:35:24So, if they're beginning now, who is that guy that was here earlier searching the house?
00:35:30I have no idea.
00:35:34I just got this feeling that somebody's on to us.
00:35:38How can they be on to us if it was just you and I?
00:35:41We didn't tell anyone, right?
00:35:45We didn't tell anyone, right?
00:35:48Right.
00:35:49Why would I tell them myself?
00:35:56Yeah.
00:35:57We gotta go ahead and chop her up.
00:35:59After all of this, you still talking about chopping her up?
00:36:02What else do you have in mind?
00:36:06Nah.
00:36:12Just, uh...
00:36:14Just give me a few minutes with her.
00:36:21You got five minutes.
00:36:26Five.
00:36:47Five minutes.
00:36:49I said your time is up.
00:36:58Five minutes.
00:36:59I said your time is up.
00:36:59You can't ask them.
00:37:00I said my time is up, you'll be sure.
00:37:08How?
00:37:35It's time.
00:37:38I cannot do it.
00:37:41You have no choice.
00:37:50I can't.
00:37:52By tomorrow, the body will be stinking.
00:37:55I can't.
00:37:56You have no choice.
00:37:58Do it or die.
00:38:33You have no choice.
00:38:54You have no choice.
00:38:56I don't know, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know.
00:38:58Shh!
00:39:36I don't know.
00:40:05At least she's alive.
00:40:07What?
00:40:10What did you say?
00:40:13Nothing.
00:40:14Oh, so you think I didn't hear what you said?
00:40:21Look, I'm glad that she's alive, alright?
00:40:24There I said it.
00:40:25So what?
00:40:27If she's alive, then that means we go to prison, idiot.
00:40:34You know, maybe we should just call the cops and turn ourselves in.
00:40:37Man, I tell you, besides sex, you're useless.
00:40:52Let's call her phone.
00:40:53If she answers, at least we know something.
00:40:55Mm-mm.
00:40:56I don't know about that.
00:40:57No.
00:40:58Mm-mm.
00:41:03Okay, we gonna call, but we gonna call from your phone.
00:41:08Okay, alright.
00:41:11Wait a minute.
00:41:12Now you feel a little bit too happy to make that call.
00:41:22No, no.
00:41:31Let's go.
00:41:37How are you?
00:41:50Hey?
00:41:52Don't say anything!
00:41:54What? Why?
00:41:55Because we don't even know anything.
00:41:57Like, why would you do that?
00:41:58I don't even...
00:41:59Oh, my gosh.
00:42:36There's no way I can get myself locked up.
00:42:39I can't...
00:42:40I can't do it.
00:42:44I can't do it.
00:42:45Proofy time.
00:42:49I'll just be like everybody else in my family.
00:43:27We should just make a run for it.
00:43:31Have you not been paying attention to the alerts on your phone?
00:43:3514 people got shot and killed for running.
00:43:40If they come back, it's because she told them.
00:43:44Either way, we screwed.
00:43:45Yeah.
00:43:47They come back for another checkup.
00:43:51We gotta clean that bedroom.
00:43:57I'm not going back in there.
00:44:00I can't.
00:44:11What was that?
00:44:26The power went out.
00:44:28Looks like everything except the street lights.
00:44:32What do you think?
00:44:34Are they coming?
00:44:35To get us?
00:44:36Yeah.
00:44:38I think that it's over with.
00:44:40I think they're coming to get us.
00:45:09Quarantine's not supposed to be like this.
00:45:13Neither a relationship.
00:45:20I think that we should call our families.
00:45:25You really don't know me.
00:45:28I don't have a family.
00:45:32Like literally?
00:45:35I mean, I was adopted and my family's in Maine, but I haven't talked to them in like 15 years.
00:45:48Well, if you're not going to call anyone, then I'm not going to call anyone either.
00:45:52No, no, no, no.
00:45:55If you got family and you want to call them, go ahead and call them.
00:45:59Don't do it because of me.
00:46:04I mean, I doubt they'll care anyway.
00:46:06They pretty much disowned me after I married her.
00:46:11Wow.
00:46:13She was trouble at the start, huh?
00:46:26What you going to do with that?
00:46:31I think we should tell our story.
00:46:35I mean, think about it.
00:46:37My wife is going to tell her story.
00:46:39The police are going to tell theirs.
00:46:40And so is the media.
00:46:41So we owe it to ourselves to tell ours, right?
00:46:45You got a point.
00:46:49Give it here.
00:46:50I'll go first.
00:47:00Hi, my name is Rashida Hamilton.
00:47:06I was abandoned by my teenage mom.
00:47:12But then I was adopted by a rich white family in Maine.
00:47:21Just every day, I was either molested or raped by white men in my community.
00:47:34I mean, I reached out for help, but no one wanted to help this little black girl.
00:47:42So I ran away.
00:47:47And I ran away to Atlanta.
00:47:53Here, it taught me how to survive.
00:47:59Even taught me that being a black girl was a cool thing.
00:48:07Then I ran into this amazing guy.
00:48:12Horrible name.
00:48:14I don't know if his parents was on crack or not, but...
00:48:19He still was amazing.
00:48:25He was so amazing that I...
00:48:33I...
00:48:34I...
00:48:36I killed his...
00:48:38I killed his wife, Maggie Simmons.
00:48:46That's how amazing he was to me.
00:48:53Your turn.
00:48:59How do I follow that?
00:49:01I mean, that was my story.
00:49:03You tell yours.
00:49:05Yeah, but I think I need some inspiration first.
00:49:08Only if, uh...
00:49:09You let me tie you up one more time.
00:49:13It is quarantine, right?
00:49:15Yeah.
00:49:17Let's have fun in this quarantine...
00:49:20Relationship.
00:49:21See you next time.
00:49:41I know.
00:49:45See you next time.
00:49:47Bye.
00:49:48Bye.
00:50:49She? We killed her.
00:50:51What is this?
00:50:53Get her. I have the evidence on my phone.
00:50:55Okay, we got this, Marcus.
00:50:56Marcus?
00:50:58Oh, yeah.
00:50:58Marcus?
00:50:59I said my name is Deidre, but it's Marcus, and I'm an undercover cop.
00:51:03Hey, hey, hey, hey.
00:51:07I'm going to have you cover a cop and sold my wife.
00:51:09I will blow your freaking head off.
00:51:10Good thing she had that vest on.
00:51:12But I love you.
00:51:12You're under arrest.
00:51:13She don't love you.
00:51:14You have the right to remain silent.
00:51:16Anything you say can and will be held to get you.
00:51:18How can you do this?
00:51:19You have the right to an attorney.
00:51:20You're going to pay.
00:51:21If you're not a Ford attorney, then you're...
00:51:24Deidre.
00:51:25Marcus!
00:51:26It's Deidre.
00:51:31Man, it's crazy.
00:51:33What?
00:51:35You?
00:51:37Man, why you ain't get her the first time you came through?
00:51:40Man, I didn't know what was going on.
00:51:41You in here making all them faces, sitting here in your drawers?
00:51:43I was confused.
00:51:45Man, look.
00:51:46I had to do something with her one more time.
00:51:48Boy, stop it.
00:51:50Bet you didn't even have a mask on.
00:51:52I need to lock you up.
00:51:53No right, six feet.
00:51:56Oh, look.
00:51:57I got to give it to you, man.
00:51:58You caught on quick with them signs.
00:51:59Hey, man.
00:52:00Stay ready.
00:52:01You ain't got to get ready.
00:52:02I studied all night.
00:52:04This Jeremy?
00:52:05Boy, don't you owe me $40?
00:52:07$40?
00:52:47What's going on there, hero?
00:52:49What's up?
00:52:49Hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, social distancing, remember?
00:52:52Six feet apart.
00:52:53Yeah, yeah, my bad.
00:52:54I forgot.
00:52:56So I thought you went on vacation yesterday.
00:52:59Well, I thinks I did.
00:53:01Okay.
00:53:02Well, you didn't call me here to chit-chat, so what's going on?
00:53:07The case.
00:53:09Something I can't get past.
00:53:12You fell in love with Rashida for real this time.
00:53:15What?
00:53:16No.
00:53:17No, it's nothing like that.
00:53:19Okay, then what is it then?
00:53:23Well, Rashida, she showed me this video of my wife.
00:53:28Oh, yeah.
00:53:30I saw that video.
00:53:31You guys went all out to make that look real.
00:53:33See, that's the thing, bruh.
00:53:35That wasn't me in that video.
00:53:37Wait, what?
00:53:38Yeah, that video was real, but that wasn't me in the video with her.
00:53:45No.
00:53:46No, your wife wouldn't do that to you, man.
00:53:49Okay, well, if it was something for the case, then why don't I know anything about it?
00:53:53Wait, hold on.
00:53:54Let me take this phone call real quick.
00:53:56When?
00:53:58Wait, what?
00:53:59When?
00:54:01How much?
00:54:04You've got to be kidding me.
00:54:06All right, I need a man on that right away.
00:54:09And you keep me informed as to what information you find out on that.
00:54:13And while I got you, um, hey, you know that video?
00:54:18Yeah, that video.
00:54:20Got any information on that?
00:54:23Email address, anything?
00:54:28Really?
00:54:30Okay, well, thanks a lot.
00:54:31And remember, keep me abreast of everything that goes on with that missing money.
00:54:39Okay, so apparently this originated from an A-Team Jeremy's email.
00:54:45I mean, we're A-Team.
00:54:47Do you know a Jeremy?
00:54:49A-Team.
00:54:51Mm-hmm.
00:54:53Jeremy?
00:54:54Mm-hmm.
00:54:55Yo, I gotta go.
00:55:09Where you at?
00:55:11What you mean?
00:55:12I'm at your house now.
00:55:13Ain't nobody here.
00:55:16Girl, I done stole this money.
00:55:19We gotta get out of town.
00:55:21I ain't got time for them to be playing around.
00:55:26What you mean?
00:55:27I'm at your house now.
00:55:28I got the money.
00:55:29Nobody's here.
00:55:32Listen, girl, I done stole this money.
00:55:34It's only a matter of time for the whole police force to be after us.
00:55:38Marcus?
00:55:39Nobody worried about Marcus.
00:55:41Divorce him.
00:55:41Do whatever you gotta do.
00:55:42He's not a factor.
00:55:44Listen, listen.
00:55:46Just meet me by the lake in 30 minutes.
00:55:52Let me call you back.
00:55:57Marcus!
00:55:58Boy, you gonna live a long time.
00:55:59You know, I was just thinking about you.
00:56:01Really?
00:56:06What you doing here, man?
00:56:07What you mean, man?
00:56:08I came to see if you wanted to get a drink, so...
00:56:10I got a reason to see my boy?
00:56:12Your boy?
00:56:14Yeah, I'm born.
00:56:15Okay, so I'm your boy now.
00:56:16What's all this about, Marcus?
00:56:18See, see, the thing is...
00:56:21I heard something different.
00:56:23Yo, I don't know what you think you might have heard or might have not heard.
00:56:27But you got it all wrong, man.
00:56:29It's 18.
00:56:29I got it wrong.
00:56:31I got it wrong.
00:56:32I got it wrong.
00:56:33Tell me what it is, then, Kelvin.
00:56:35Tell me what it is.
00:56:37Because what I think is, you've been smashing my wife behind my back.
00:56:41All right.
00:56:42Yeah, I've seen the video.
00:56:43Before you try to lie, I've seen the video.
00:56:46I just messed up, baby.
00:56:48I just messed up.
00:56:50If I was you, I would be very careful of the next words I let come out of my mouth.
00:56:56Blue lives matter.
00:56:57Black lives matter.
00:56:58We all matter, baby.
00:57:00Let's just take a knee and talk about this.
00:57:02Did my wife matter?
00:57:03Did my life matter when you smashed my wife?
00:57:08It was fun when the rabbit got to go.
00:57:51Let's just take a knee and talk about this.
00:58:32Calvin, what's going on, Chief?
00:58:35You tell me what's going on.
00:58:37It's don't concern you.
00:58:38Wherever you came from, it vies you to go back.
00:58:42What do you mean it doesn't concern me?
00:58:43I just came from Marcus's house.
00:58:45I'm pretty sure he done told you everything you need to know.
00:58:48Calvin, we're cops.
00:58:50We're better than this.
00:58:51No, you're better than this.
00:58:53This is my way out.
00:58:54If you don't turn around and go the other way,
00:58:56I promise the next suit you wear going to come with a hearse.
00:58:59You're a good man.
00:58:59A good cop.
00:59:00I brought you onto the A-team for a reason.
00:59:03Yeah, you did bring me on the A-team.
00:59:05But I made the A-team.
00:59:07I don't want to took them sacrifices on what I got to show for.
00:59:11Another pinch in the 10, 15 years.
00:59:12My son 10 years old.
00:59:14I can't wait on that.
00:59:15Give me one last chance.
00:59:18Put the gun down.
00:59:19Hand me the bag.
00:59:22You know, that was Marcus's mistake.
00:59:24He thought I wouldn't shoot him either.
00:59:51Was it worth it, Calvin?
00:59:52I don't want to take care of him.
01:00:16Dispatch.
01:00:17I lost him.
01:00:19Meet me down on Carolina Beach Road.
01:00:38Folks, it's been four months since the lockdown started.
01:00:42And the city is starting to get back together.
01:00:46That's the good news.
01:00:48But since then, we've run into a few problems.
01:00:53Several officers have been killed.
01:00:56And money is missing.
01:00:59We have no clues.
01:01:01No leads.
01:01:06I just want to say, these are good people.
01:01:10They had families.
01:01:14You didn't have to shoot them down like animals.
01:01:33These officers.
01:01:37These officers.
01:01:38These officers were friends of mine.
01:01:41They did not have to be killed like this.
01:02:11They did not have to kill them, but if they did not have to be killed, they didn't have to
01:02:13be killed.
01:02:13Let's go.
01:02:43Let's go.
01:03:29Let's go.
01:03:45Let's go.
01:04:12Let's go.
01:04:17Let's go.
01:04:41Let's go.
01:04:44Let's go.
01:04:48Let's go.
01:04:59Let's go.
01:05:05Let's go.
01:05:09Let's go.
01:05:11Let's go.
01:05:15Let's go.
01:05:17Let's go.
01:05:19Let's go.
01:05:20Let's go.
01:05:33Let's go.
01:05:44Let's go.
01:05:58Let's go.
01:06:05Let's go.
01:06:08Let's go.
01:06:10Let's go.
01:06:14Let's go.
01:06:17Let's go.
01:06:32Let's go.
01:06:34Let's go.
01:06:47Let's go.
01:06:56Let's go.
01:06:56Let's go.
01:06:58Let's go.
01:07:16Let's go.
01:07:18Let's go.
01:07:23Let's go.
01:07:24Let's go.
01:07:28Let's go.
01:07:30Let's go.
01:07:35Let's go.
01:07:36Let's go.
01:07:40Let's go.
01:07:48Now, let's go.
01:07:50Let's go.
01:07:51Let's go.
01:07:53Let's go.
01:08:04Let's go.
01:08:05is guaranteed. You have to just get up early enough, work late enough, and you just have to
01:08:11keep going, hoping the job is done. When you're running the business, you're putting the
01:08:16responsibility onto somebody else. So my point is, when you're working for somebody, if you can't,
01:08:24if they're telling you what to do and how to do it, and you can't be to work on time
01:08:29every day,
01:08:29and you can't work to a high level, and you know what you need to be doing, how are you
01:08:36going to
01:08:36do that for yourself? How are you going to be self-employed and do that for your own business?
01:08:42If you don't become a great employer, excuse me, a great employee, how are you going to be able to
01:08:49hire great employees? You don't know what that is. And so, and I'm really speaking to the people that
01:08:54take their job for granted and don't give 100% for their job because they know it's not their
01:09:01last stop. They know it's not their goal, but it's a part of the process, and you have to master
01:09:05each
01:09:06step to get to the top. Once the game starts, that's not when you learn. It's not when you start
01:09:12doing right. That's when the habits of everything you've done in the past kick in. I'm sorry if the
01:09:18camera's shaking. I don't have it on the gimbal, but so it's very important while you're at your job,
01:09:23be the best employee you can be. This is training ground to run your business. And you're working
01:09:28for a business, whether you think it's a good business or bad, there are always lessons and
01:09:32rules to learn. So while you're at their job, you need to know the company's profile. You need to
01:09:39know the company's customer profile. You need to know why y'all working eight-hour shifts and not
01:09:4512-hour shifts. You need to know why y'all work Monday through Friday, not seven days a week. You
01:09:50need
01:09:50to know why y'all take breaks, 15-minute breaks instead of 30-minute breaks. When a supervisor job
01:09:56comes up and people are applying for the job, you should be able to guess who is going to get
01:10:03the
01:10:03job. But you need to understand the business that you are working with because this is practice for
01:10:08running your own business. This is not a place to get your head down. This is not a place to
01:10:14try to
01:10:14get over. This is not a place that when you come there, you come in just enough time to still
01:10:18get paid.
01:10:19You leave just early enough to still get paid. No, this is your practice. This is your habits.
01:10:24No matter what you do in life, you are creating a habit. So if you're not trying to eat healthy,
01:10:31every time you don't, you are creating the habit of not eating healthy. Every time you try to eat
01:10:37healthy, guess what you are doing? You are creating the habit of eating healthy. So every time you go to
01:10:43work and you don't give it a hundred percent, you are creating a habit in your life of not giving
01:10:49it
01:10:49a hundred percent. If anybody has ever played sports before, one thing a coach will always tell you
01:10:55during practice is to practice full speed. So when you're in the game, you don't have to try. It's like
01:11:03bustle memory. It's just the habits. That's what practice is for. Game time is not a time to learn.
01:11:09Game time is a time to execute. So when you're at work, it's a time to learn. So when you
01:11:13get your
01:11:14own business, you can execute. This is very, very important. And I just, I feel like there's a lot
01:11:20of people that need to hear this because they want to start a business and do different things, but
01:11:24they don't know how to be great for a business. They don't know how to, um, help a business grow.
01:11:31I'm going to end with saying this. One of the biggest things I have learned,
01:11:35one of the biggest things is when I go to learn something, I don't, and I say if I work
01:11:42with
01:11:42somebody else, uh, helping them with their project and, you know, I want to learn the best way to learn,
01:11:49the best way to create, to create your habits is to not go there and do what most people do
01:11:54that I
01:11:54have seen. Snoop around, look at equipment, snoop around, then try to go and copy what they're doing.
01:12:00The habit you are trying to get when you go help somebody is making something great. So when you go
01:12:06help somebody else with their film, when you go help somebody else with their salon, when you go help
01:12:10somebody else with their barbershop, you go help somebody else with their computer business or their
01:12:14delivery business, your job is to help that business be the best it can be while you are there.
01:12:21Because when you start your own business, that is the habit that you are carrying over. So,
01:12:28you know, this ended up being longer than I thought it was, but yeah, hey, hey, always give 100%.
01:12:34That's the bottom line. No matter what it is, how it is, what you're doing, just make sure it's good,
01:12:39is righteous, and give 100% every time. Be blessed. I hope you enjoyed the film and follow me at
