00:06have been speeding at kilometre 3.5 of the Kajang Silk Highway on Sunday night.
00:12Kajang Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Nazron Abdul Yusuf said the incident occurred
00:17at around 9.10pm.
00:20Initial investigations revealed that the vehicle involved was travelling from Kampung Baru
00:25Balakong towards Kajang.
00:27Police said the driver was believed to have been speeding while descending a slope before
00:32losing control and crashing into another car in the middle lane of the highway.
00:37The husband and wife, aged 60 and 61, suffered serious injuries to their heads and arms.
00:44A 35-year-old local man, believed to be the driver of the other vehicle, also sustained
00:50serious head injuries.
00:51All victims were taken to Hospital Sultan Idris Shah in Serdang for further treatment.
00:57The case is being investigated under Section 43 Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
