00:02What's up guys, Giorgio here.
00:05And the version 1.1 special program for Neverness to Everness has officially ended and honestly
00:09we got way more information than I was expecting.
00:12Going into the live stream I thought we would mostly get banner confirmations and maybe a few event previews.
00:19Instead the developers revealed new locations, full gameplay showcases for both upcoming characters,
00:26multiple outfits, new events, a brand new multiplayer mode, the Porsche collaboration, quality of life improvements,
00:34free rewards and a whole lot more.
00:36So if you missed the live stream or simply don't want to see through the entire thing,
00:41don't worry because today we're going to go through all of the biggest announcements
00:46and everything you need to know about version 1.1.
00:51And honestly after seeing everything they showed, this patch is looking much bigger than a typical first update after launch.
00:57The live stream started with a cinematic trailer that gave us our first proper look at where the story is
01:01heading next.
01:02We saw several new environments, story scenes and most importantly gameplay footage for both Lacrimose and Chaos.
01:09Right away it became obvious that these two characters are going to be the stars of version 1.1.
01:15The trailer also confirmed that we're getting two completely new locations.
01:18The first one is Sunward Island, a beautiful coastal area located outside Heterio.
01:23Instead of the dense urban atmosphere we are used to, this region looks much more open, featuring beaches,
01:27island towns, forests, mountains and sunflower fields.
01:30The second new area is the mysterious Corridor of Echoes,
01:33which appears to be a new anomaly zone tied to upcoming story content and exploration.
01:37A lot of players on reddit were particularly excited about these new exploration zones,
01:42with many saying that Sunward Island was one of the highlights of the entire live stream.
01:47Of course the biggest reveal for most players was the official confirmation of the version 1.1 banners.
01:51As expected Lacrimosa will be the first featured S-ranked character of the patch.
01:55Her banner begins on June 3 and runs until June 24.
01:58Then Chaos takes over during the second half of the update running from June 24 until July 8.
02:03Both characters will also have their respective arc banners available alongside their releases.
02:09This officially confirms the entire banner schedule and finally gives players a clear timeline for planning their pools.
02:14Now let's talk about Lacrimosa because she absolutely received the spotlight during this live stream.
02:20The developer showcased her gameplay in much greater detail than before,
02:23revealing how she utilizes Esper constructs to attack enemies and apply Nightmare stacks.
02:28Nightmare acts as a Chaos damage over time effect,
02:30allowing her to continuously pressure enemies while building toward devastating damage windows.
02:35One of the most unique parts of her kit is her ability to copy enemies and replicate their combat techniques,
02:39creating duplicates that fight using those same abilities.
02:42We also learned that some of these effects become available after completing her dedicated story content.
02:47Her ultimate ability unleashes a massive area attack, applies Nightmare to multiple targets,
02:52and instantly maximizes existing Nightmare stacks for huge burst damage.
02:55Based on everything shown during the live stream,
02:58Lacrimosa looks every bit like the premium Chaos DPS many players were hoping for.
03:02And if that wasn't enough,
03:04Lacrimosa also received an incredible amount of cosmetic content.
03:07The developers revealed five separate outfits for her,
03:10including New Moon Lullaby, Piano Key, Sanatina, Yesterday's Melody, Gilded Rhapsody, and Nightingale's Crescendo.
03:16Honestly, the amount of attention she received compared to most characters is pretty impressive.
03:21Even Reddit users noticed that Lacrimosa appears to be getting the majority of the spotlight this patch,
03:26with several players commenting on how much promotional content and customization she is receiving compared to other characters.
03:32Chaos also received his official gameplay showcase.
03:34Although many players felt the developers held back some details for his Phase 2 release,
03:39from what we saw, Chaos fights alongside the Supernatural Hound created from his Esper abilities
03:43and uses crime charges to unleash powerful follow-up attacks.
03:47His kit revolves around applying warrant effects to enemies,
03:50amplifying the damage they receive while setting up devastating finishing attacks.
03:54Outside of combat, he can even leave his Hound behind as a teleport anchor and instantly return to it later,
04:00which is honestly one of the coolest exploration abilities we've seen so far.
04:03Chaos also received two outfits called Never Skip and Clear Skies.
04:07While many players liked what they saw, some Reddit discussion suggested that Chaos didn't receive quite as much attention as
04:11Lacrimosa during the livestream
04:13and that more details may be saved for his release period.
04:16Another major announcement was the official Porsche collaboration.
04:18After weeks of rumors and speculation, the partnership is now completely confirmed.
04:22The first collaboration vehicle will be the Porsche 918 Spyder,
04:25arriving during version 1.1 alongside exclusive customization options and a special outfit for the appraiser.
04:30The update will also introduce the Pegasus Residence, a luxury property featuring a dedicated car elevator that allows players to
04:36drive directly into their apartment.
04:37The collaboration appears to be only the first phase of a larger partnership, meaning additional vehicles could drive in future
04:42updates as well.
04:43Now let's talk about rewards, because thankfully there are quite a few.
04:47Players will receive a 7-day login event that rewards a total of 10 limited pools.
04:51On top of that, a special gift package will provide additional standard pools and upgrade materials.
04:56The livestream also revealed three redeem codes that provide free currency and resources.
05:00Those codes are DreamWalk0603, Tomato100 and RaceNoLimit.
05:05Just make sure to redeem them before they expire, because they are only available for a limited time after the
05:09livestream.
05:09The event lineup for version 1.1 is actually much larger than I expected.
05:15We're getting the What's Baking event, the Underground Circuit Racing event, the Sunward Travel Log Exploration event,
05:21the Long Dream Story event, Beyond the Rail Uncharted Circle, Phones Rush, Hunter's Crucible,
05:27Fight Championship Pixel Surge and several additional activities spread throughout the patch cycle.
05:32One of the most interesting additions is Underground Circuit, which essentially turns NTE into a chaotic multiplayer combat racing game,
05:39where players fight each other while competing for first place.
05:42Reddit users were surprisingly enthusiastic about this mode, with many comparing it to a Mario Kart-style experience
05:47and expressing excitement about finally getting more repeatable multiplayer content.
05:51The quality of life improvements may actually be one of the strongest parts of the entire update.
05:55Players can now mute TO during story sequences, something that was heavily requested by the community.
06:00The game will also provide story summaries whenever players skip cutscenes, making it easier to stay informed about the plot.
06:05Additional fast travel points are being added to frequently visited locations,
06:09vehicle handling is being improved, auto-drive functionality is being introduced,
06:12camera controls are receiving upgrades, housing bugs are being fixed, phone customization is being expanded,
06:18NPCs will now react to selfies, combat responsiveness is being improved,
06:22collectible tracking is becoming easier, controller support is receiving enhancements,
06:26and overall mobile performance is being optimized.
06:29Judging from Reddit reactions, many players were actually most excited about this quality of life improvements,
06:33because they directly addressed complaints that surfaced during version 1.
06:36Overall, I have to say this was a surprisingly strong first livestream.
06:41We got confirmation of the new story chapter, new regions to explore, two highly anticipated characters, multiple outfits,
06:46collaboration content, free rewards, new multiplayer activities, and a massive list of quality of life improvements.
06:52More importantly, the developers seem to be actively responding to player feedback,
06:56which is always a good sign for the future of a live service game.
06:58The biggest question now is simple, are you pulling for Lacrimosa, are you saving everything for Chaos,
07:03or are you already looking ahead to future characters?
07:05Let me know down in the comments below.
