00:00back at it again and you know i just came across the clip where kamala was you know at one
00:05of her
00:05rallies and you know she was like you know i wonder why does trump staff want him to hide
00:13you know basically kind of begging trump to get back on the debate stage uh which tells you
00:20everything you need to know on what the internal polls are telling her why would you be begging
00:25for another debate if you're winning it just doesn't make any sense right you know just two
00:31plus two equals four in that situation to me but you guys can let me know your opinion uh
00:37but also trump is doing the exact opposite as a matter of fact he did another interview with
00:42bloomberg i believe in chicago and i'm going to show you guys a little bit of that but i want
00:46to
00:46get into something else as well at the end so stick around uh but first let's hop into a couple
00:51of
00:52these clips because uh it was absolutely fantastic and you know to go on kamala's point about hiding
01:00this is how the interview started let's dive in the first is just for the record and for those people
01:08watching on television the economic club of chicago and bloomberg both invited vice president harris to
01:15a similar interview about her economic plans that she has declined so far oh so who's hiding kamala
01:23is it you or is it trump sounds like you the one hiding and we know we know exactly why
01:31let's continue
01:32let's return to one other big subject you bring up repeatedly immigration yeah i know it's a very
01:37emotive issue for you but just from the point of view of business people here you look at the full
01:42effect of taking a lot of people out of the workforce removing a lot of people the federal
01:47the the congressional budget office is banking on the fact that there'll be nine trillion dollars
01:53added to the gdp of america over the next 10 years by immigrants you want to stop that process
02:00for all the people who run businesses in the audience yeah i'm just focusing on the economic thing
02:05are you prepared to say look it's fine to have a slightly smaller economy in exchange for having
02:10the immigration control okay simple answer i want a lot of people to come into our country
02:16but i want them to come in legally i don't want to have
02:22that but that means that means you will have that means you will have to deport you know you are
02:29talking about deporting 11 million people so you just heard the entire room of business people
02:36cheer uh as trump made that statement but then also one thing that i've been noticing is that a lot
02:42of these uh interviewers seem to be kind of cheering for illegal immigration i showed you guys the clip of
02:51the new york times um interview with jd vance i drew a blank there for a second but then also
02:58you know
02:59here where he says well that means you're gonna have to deport 11 million people like and uh just
03:05because it's a big number does it mean that we just throw our hands in the air and just give
03:08up
03:08like no okay 11 million people all right let's get it done simple but let's continue critics say your
03:17tariffs will end up being like a national sales tax nope because if you add if you have america at
03:22the
03:22moment has three trillion dollars worth of imports you're gonna add tariffs to every single one of
03:27them that is going to push up the cost for all those people who want to buy foreign goods now
03:31what's going to happen that is just simple mathematics president trump it's not it's yeah it is but not
03:36the way you figured i was always very good at mathematics let me tell you you're saying three
03:40trillion that's three trillion dollars worth of imports and they don't have to pay and if by the
03:45the higher the tariff the more likely it is to have them come into the higher the tariff the more
03:51you're going to put on the value of that piece those goods the higher people are going to pay in
03:55shops
03:56ready the higher the tariff the more likely it is that the company will come into the united states
04:02and build a factory in the united states so it doesn't have to pay the tariff that will take that
04:07will take many many as you know that will take many years in fact i'll tell you you know there's
04:13another theory is that uh the tariff you make it so high so horrible so obnoxious that they'll come
04:20right away when i do the ten percent ten percent is really first of all ten percent when you collect
04:27it is hundreds of billions of dollars the numbers that you're talking all reducing our deficit but
04:34really so there's two ways of looking at a tariff you can do it as a money-making instrument or
04:40you
04:40can do it as something to get the companies now if you want the companies to come in the tariff
04:46has to
04:46be a lot higher than ten percent because ten percent is not enough a guy they're not going to do
04:50it for
04:50ten but you make a fifty percent tariff they're going to come in let me tell you the other thing
04:55about tariffs that's great our steel companies as you know three four years ago they were all gone
05:00when i was in office i saw a man from a big steel company and he was devastated i knew
05:05him for a long
05:06time and it's been a tough business it was a great business many years ago and i would not let
05:11u.s
05:12steel be sold to japanese by the way it's too it just psychologically i think it was that's the
05:17nip on steel as you know yeah i wouldn't let yeah i wouldn't let it be sold but i would
05:22if this i would
05:23stop it if it hasn't been completed by the time i'm president because i think it sets a horrible tone
05:29but i i had a lot to do with steel we were going to lose all our steel companies because
05:33china as you
05:34remember was dumping steel at levels that nobody's ever seen before and i put a 50 tax on that
05:41and uh tariff on that all dumped steel and it was also bad steel was dirt what they call dirty
05:47steel was a good steel which is a bad thing for structural components of buildings and planes and
05:53things like that they were dumping crap into our country and i put a 50 tariff i started at 25
06:00i
06:00raised it to 50 because the 25 didn't quite do it i raised it to 50 and that did it
06:04they stopped
06:05dumping steel and i saved our steel most by having that we saved it we saved our steel now what
06:13was
06:13left because we've lost so much but there are certain companies you have to have there are certain
06:18things you have to have steel you have to have if you go to war you know there's a possibility
06:23you go to
06:24war yeah absolutely um you know tariffs can be used a multiple in multiple different ways and you heard
06:32them explain it there one of the big ways is hey forcing these companies to start bringing their
06:38companies back here to american soil and not just using cheap labor in some other country and then
06:43shipping their goods here to sell for massive profits right uh no bring those companies back here
06:50on american soil and americans will work those jobs then you can sell those products here otherwise
06:56i'm listen there's gonna be a 50 maybe even more percent tariff on your product and no american is
07:03going to buy it like i mean it's just that simple but i also want to play this little short
07:09clip as
07:09well uh for you guys because trump is really fighting for the american worker check it out stuff we're
07:16going to put tariffs on them and they're going to do and you know what they can do the mercedes
07:21-benz
07:21will start building in the united states and they have a little bit but you know what they really are
07:26assembly like in south carolina but they build everything in germany and then they assemble it
07:31here they get away with murder because they say oh yes we're building because they don't build cars
07:35they take them out of a box and they assemble them we could have our child do it me
07:40yeah so you see them like playing this little weird game of you know uh well it's american build
07:47no it isn't you shipped it in parts and pieces here in a box and people just added some nuts
07:54and
07:54bolts together and oh boom done like no that's that's not american build no from start to finish you
08:01create the product here in america and i just want to play this clip for you guys because this is
08:07exactly what trump is trying to prevent with some of these tariff proposals check it out i've owned my
08:14own home a couple cars you know what i mean i got four kids got a wife beautiful wife at
08:20home so to
08:21see it just all of a sudden disappear wouldn't you be a little mad about that detroit autoworker is dying
08:27on the vine i've been here four years working hard you want to give these jobs to other people so
08:32you
08:33could pay them less than what you pay on me you said they never did that you can hear her
08:36in the
08:37streets you can hear him in the bars this is a uaw joint in warren michigan stellantis the european
08:44company that now owns jeep ram dodge and chrysler is laying off 2 500 people at the factory right
08:53across the street whenever i go to awake yeah so you heard that there that is exactly what trump is
08:59trying to prevent uh the laying off of individuals and taking those jobs and sending them somewhere
09:05else for cheaper labor that's exactly what and not not only not only with the tariffs but also with the
09:12illegal immigration getting the illegals out of here so they can't undercut the american worker
09:17uh i also want to play this other clip for those that may be confused as far as you know
09:23tariffs and
09:24that whole situation uh here's an explanation of tariffs um and it's actually perfectly put
09:32check it out when you talk to the president former president about tariffs uh it do you see it as
09:38as a
09:38bargaining tip or do you think you're going to see tariffs across the board of 20 percent i think we
09:44should put tariffs on stuff we make and not put tariffs on stuff we don't make it's pretty simple
09:50and of course it's a bargaining chip we can't sell a ford or gm in europe you go to europe
09:57you can't
09:58sell a ford or gm why there's a hundred percent tariffs how about in japan a hundred percent tariffs
10:05so do you think if we said we're going to tariff you the way you tariff us do you think
10:10they're going
10:11to allow mercedes and all these japanese companies and porsches and bmws to all of a sudden have
10:16hundred percent tariffs in america of course not they're going to come and negotiate and their
10:21tariffs are going to come down and finally ford and general motors are going to be able to sell
10:26in these places how's that sound of course they're going to come down of course this is just
10:31negotiating it absolutely makes sense if you do it strategically if it's across the board
10:36it creates a real problem and the question is whether you believe the president is going to do
10:40it strategically or across the board he keeps saying it across the board well when you're running
10:45for office you make broad statements so people understand you okay tariffs are an amazing tool
10:52by the president to use they're an amazing tool but he understands don't tariff stuff we don't make
10:58right if we don't make it and you want to buy it i don't want to put the price up
11:02it's pointless but
11:04use tariffs to build in america if we want to make it in america tariff it or if we're competing
11:10with
11:10the traffic but you got to remember we need to protect the american worker finally someone's going to
11:15protect the american worker and donald trump is here to protect the american a lot of money in
11:19tariffs or if they're used as negotiating tactics look tariffs will come down there we're not going
11:24to have super high tariffs here either there's not going to be a big pot of money at the end
11:27i i love
11:28that story so which is it do we make a lot of money on tariffs or we we bring uh
11:34productivity here
11:35and we drive up our our workers here so it's a win-win scenario i like both of them i
11:40think what's
11:41going to happen is we'll make a bunch of money on the tariffs but mostly is everybody else is going
11:47to negotiate with us and we will be more fair in 1948 right we came up with something called the
11:54marshall plan right the world germany and and and japan were destroyed after world war ii and we wanted
12:00to export our economy to them so we made a rule they could tariff us and we won't tariff them
12:07so they
12:07can rebuild this explanation i've heard so they can rebuild their economy we rebuilt their economy
12:13using something called the marshall plan our economy is so awesome that we'll use it to help
12:19you rebuild when should that have ended what do you think 1980 right 1985 i mean why 40 years
12:27are japan and germany and all of europe still tariffing the heck out of our auto industry tariffing
12:34the heck out of our furniture industry do you realize all your furniture you're buying that's
12:38made foreign it seems crazy why it's because they tariff us and we don't tariff them it's so obvious
12:48well put well put uh these tariffs will bring other countries it will companies and sometimes other
12:55countries back to the back to the negotiating table right and uh instead of only foreign cars being
13:04sold in america and not many american cars being sold on foreign soil right now you'll get more of
13:11an even exchange which obviously will help the american worker like some of the workers that you just saw
13:16laid off there it won't just be cars only sold in america you will be able to make sell them
13:23in other
13:23countries which would obviously help to increase production which if you got to increase production
13:28you're not going to be laying off 2500 workers like you just saw there uh in the clip earlier that
13:34i
13:34showed you so those folks who rely on those jobs to pay their bills to put food on the table
13:39to keep a
13:40roof over their family's head they don't have to worry about you know being laid off or the job even
13:44leaving to go get cheaper uh you know labor because they'll know trump is in office and after trump
13:50another republican you know byron donalds larry elder jd vance of vape ramaswamy will do the exact same
13:57thing like no you're you're not leaving to get cheaper labor to take advantage of the american people
14:03i'm gonna put a massive tariff on it so uh good luck with that one you're not gonna sell it
14:09here
14:09right but obviously the stuff that we don't personally make right you're not gonna put a tariff on that
14:15stuff like it's it's just obvious it's it's it's common sense like you know it it baffles me
14:20sometimes when i watch some of this stuff and i'm not i'm no professional right you guys know i i've
14:25been talking about politics for maybe two years i'm still an infant when it comes to this stuff
14:29but for me it's just common sense but when i watch some of these folks like like like the guy
14:34which
14:35his eye looked crazy i don't know if y'all caught that um yeah this guy has does his eye
14:41always look
14:42like this y'all see that what is going on there what is happening i don't know that looks a
14:52little
14:52weird to me but you know when he's talking about well trump is like uh a blanket tariff like he's
14:58just gonna tear off everything like what that doesn't even make sense it doesn't even make sense
15:04like what like trump is a businessman i ain't saying trump is like the smartest guy on the
15:12planet who's ever walked this earth no of course he isn't right but he has enough common sense to
15:17know you can't tariff everything everybody knows that everybody like it's just common sense so why
15:25even ask a silly question like that like that duh you know like i don't know i don't know maybe
15:31it's
15:31just me but um yeah man i i think trump has a terrific plan to help the american workers so
15:40we stop getting the short end of the stick as we have been for a long time now our politicians
15:48mainly democrats and rhinos of course uh have been selling us out we'll help everybody else but when
15:55americans need help up f you figure it out right i mean 750 even though your house just floated down
16:05this river that was just created uh 750 bucks oh for you uh only half your house float down the
16:12river
16:12so you get declined what 750 for the people of maui goodness gracious man goodness gracious oh oh oh your
16:23job is leaving to go to mexico oh well you know find a new job then i guess find a
16:27new job oh it's
16:29going over to china somewhere so they can have cheaper labor it's all right just find a new job
16:33you know trump is like nah f that bring all their butts back here to american soil or else and
16:40i love it
16:41i love it i agree with it 1000 percent but what do you say let me know stay safe out
16:47there peace and love
16:49i love it
